This location is new, so we wanted to check it out. It's a Shake Shack so pretty much the same selection and system they have in all the stores. The food came out good and exactly how we liked it and there was plenty of room to sit, which we always appreciate in places at the mall. The service was quick and cordial.

    Delicious!

Excellent cheese burger! It's all good, great toppings, great bread, great burger. Fresh & delicious.

OK! First of all, this place is super clean inside from what I can see! They keep it very tidy, and although the employees are not super friendly, they are not rude either. You walk in and you order your food at the kiosk, make sure you check for your phone number for any Rewards! I got the double today and added my toppings, I love how easy it was to customize on the kiosk. I did get the Parmesan fries, which I could've done without, I would've just gotten the plain ones, there wasn't anything fancy to it in the aïoli that they gave on the side was very lemony. But the burger was a 10! It was absolutely amazing and so Tasty! The only downfall is that it took about 23 minutes for us to get our food. I will definitely go back again and hope that I am not disappointed, but it definitely hit the Mark today! I also got the s'mores milkshake and that was so good! Cheat day!

French Onion Soup Burger was delicious, but pricey

Shake Shack makes the prices at Five Guys seem like the Wendy's value menu. With that being said, they make some pretty good food. I went here specifically for the French Onion Soup Burger and it was pretty dang tasty. However, it was over $15 for the double and that's just crazy. If I wanted Fries and a Drink I'm probably looking at $25 for a fast casual joint which is ridiculous. Know what you're getting into here, and if you ignore the prices, then you'll probably enjoy it.

I like Shake Shack for their food and how they do business. I must say this location was a little bit different. Generally, shake shack does not "do" tips there is no cashier. Everything is done via self check out at a kiosk and it automatically ask for a tip. I thought this was odd, but times change. The prices are on the higher side with 11 bucks for a burger and then four for fries and three for a drink, but it is tasty. I did note while it wasn't super busy. The service was not as quick as I am used to. Oh, in all it's convenient so when I'm craving a burger, this might be an option for me

I will preface by saying that I'm already a big fan of Shake Shack. I'm not familiar with the area, but this location is quite busy (especially on the weekend when we visited). So parking was a bit tricky, but we were able to find a spot. I ordered the Veggie Shack, french fries, and a seasonal drink. (The mango passion lemonade) The food didn't take too long to come out, and it was hot and fresh when they brought it to our table. Service here is great and the staff that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the restrooms were trashed when I visited. They were very busy like I said, so maybe the staff hadn't had a chance to attend to them. Or maybe they're understaffed and don't prioritize cleaning them regularly, I don't know. They encourage you to order at these kiosk/computer looking things as soon as you walk in. Some people might prefer that but I don't, so I suppose it's just a pet peeve of mine. My overall experience was great, outside of the restrooms. I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying it out for yourself!

I was so happy they opened this location in Waterford lakes, and I've been now a handful of times, I usually order on the app, and they have my order ready or sometimes I had to wait a few minutes to get my order if it's a peak time. The app is very easy to use, and usually has exclusive deals. A few times I've ordered in when I go, but usually is using the apps or the kiosks. The place so far has been cleaned and spacious. I love their house - shack burger - only one patty is good for me, and Iget their special cookies and cream, and or the strawberry shakes. They do have seasonal shakes last time I got a cookie dough and sprinkle christmas shake. I also likes their lemonades - very refreshing: Overall, I recommend this shake shack location, so far the service has been on point, food comes fast and it's delicious. I like that they have app exclusive deals.

Shake Shack has smash burgers that truly melt in your mouth! So delicious every visit, I recommend this place highly when you're craving a burger! Their to-go packing is also SUPER convenient!

A tiny piece of lettuce, wilted at that on a poorly put together burger

When ordering at the kiosk for A to go order it automatically default to leaving a tip. Any other restaurant or fast food it defaults to not tip and you can choose to leave the tip if you want because it's optional. Not at Shake shack, though they think that you should be assisting in paying their employee salary for a job they were hired to do. What a crock of crap This is a sandwich I got, and they expect me to pay a tip for a wiltedpiece of lettuce, a poorly put together sandwich.

Inside looks nice and new. There are four self-serving kiosks. Depending on how many people are there and the same time you are, you can have a little bit of wait to order your food. We didn't really interact with any of the employees besides the one who brought us our order, so I can't really say much about an employee experience. Overall, for the price I don't really think the food here is worth it. The chicken sandwich had a lot of breading on it and was relatively small in size. It was tall but not big around. I'm not a fan of crinkle fries so I didn't order those. The milkshake was nice it tasted like vanilla ice cream. My husband and youngest both got the burgers and they do give an option to have it well done. However, that's probably the safest way to order it. Neither one of them ordered it well done and both of their burgers were pretty pink inside and they both ended up having upset stomachs within 30 minutes of eating it. I'm the only one who didn't get an upset stomach and I did not eat the burgers. For a burger place you would think that the burgers would be the shining stars. Proceed with caution. Overall I think this brand is a skip for me, unless I'm in the mood for a milkshake I wouldn't come back.

The sandwich I ordered at Shake shack with a French onion soup, burger and fries. The customer service was OK. They brought the food out to us after we made our order and she was very polite. It was quite loud inside. We couldn't really talk much.

My order came out quickly. I got their matcha latte with ube foam, and it was a dream in a cup. In comparison to some other places I've gotten matcha from, Cafe Maiko is definitely a top contender. The overall decor is trendy and very clean. They have a cute circular chair that's IG/social media-worthy for a cute photo op. It is quaint inside, with a decent amount of seating. There's some bench seating up front as well, and I believe there is also a bench for seating just outside. Thankfully, I was getting my order to go, as the day and time I arrived, there was no seating readily available. Beyond that, it is a very cute cafe. The parking situation is FOREVER a challenge in the Mills District area, so just be cognizant of that. Pricing was very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful (if you had any questions). All in all, for my first experience, I truly enjoyed every bit of it.

We walked into a cute and welcoming space with a menu built around showcasing matcha in different forms rather than treating it as just another flavor option. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the theme well, though seating is limited and it can get crowded during busy times, making it better suited for a quick dessert stop or grabbing a drink to enjoy nearby rather than settling in for a long visit. The main reason to visit is the matcha soft serve and dessert selection. The matcha flavor is noticeably rich and earthy, with a stronger tea profile compared to many sweeter matcha desserts. The soft serve has a smooth, creamy texture and works especially well in combinations like matcha shaved ice, floats, or parfait-style creations. The matcha shaved ice stands out with layers of shaved ice, matcha soft serve, red bean, mochi, and Japanese chestnuts, creating a dessert that has different textures in every bite. The combination of the creamy soft serve with the chewy mochi and the slight bitterness of the matcha creates a balanced dessert that does not rely solely on sugar for flavor. The drink menu gives plenty of ways to experience matcha, from hot and iced matcha drinks to floats and specialty creations. Options like matcha with ube, matcha lattes with foam, and hojicha drinks add variety for anyone who wants something beyond traditional matcha. The café also offers coffee options, which makes it easier for groups with different preferences to find something they enjoy. The matcha lattes are well balanced, with the earthy notes of the tea coming through clearly without being masked by milk or sweetness. Beyond matcha, the menu includes other Japanese-inspired desserts like taiyaki, mochi-based items, and seasonal offerings. The combination of traditional flavors and playful presentations makes the café feel like a dessert destination rather than just a drink shop. The desserts are also visually appealing, with the kind of presentation that makes them worth taking a photo before digging in. The taiyaki are crisp on the outside and filled with a sweet red bean paste that contrasts nicely with the cold soft serve. Service is friendly and helps keep the experience smooth even when the café is busy. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and make it easy to choose between the many matcha options, offering clear descriptions of the flavor profiles and texture differences between the soft serve, shaved ice, and latte options. Because the café has a strong focus on quality matcha and specialty desserts, it can get popular during peak hours, so visiting outside the busiest times may make it easier to find seating and take your time with the menu. Matcha Cafe Maiko is a great spot for anyone who enjoys matcha or wants to try Japanese-style matcha desserts. The combination of rich matcha flavor, creative menu options, and a cozy café atmosphere makes it stand out from typical dessert shops. It feels like a place worth visiting when you want a matcha experience that goes beyond a basic latte, offering a dessert that feels both authentic and indulgent without being overly sweet.
