THE SMELL ALONE!! I could be not in the mood for icecream but that fresh waffle cone smell will send me over the edge. I live in walking distance of this place. Its dangerous. Last night got one scoop key lime pie and one scoop mango sorbet. It was leaking all the way down my elbows and chin as I stumbled down Park Ave. But ahh isn't sticky hands and face the tell tale signs of delicious ice cream? The servers are no issue, friendly and fast enough :) read more

Having ice cream on a hot Florida day was a great idea! This place wasn't busy when I walked-in & was quickly greeted. They have so much flavors to choose from. So I asked for few samples, and they were all good. It was hard to decide. But since I was at Winter Park, I ordered the Winter Park mud. It was really good! read more

I mean you can't go wrong with Kilwins. And you literally have to visit when there's one around. My absolute favorite is the peanut butter cups! Hands down the best. The ratio of chocolate to peanut butter is spot on! But not all stores have them. When I see them I have to buy more than one. read more

This is a super cute ice cream/ chocolate spot in downtown winter park. They had a ton of different flavors of ice cream, chocolates, fudge, fondue fountain- every sweet thing you could ask for. The pumpkin pie mixed with apple pie ice cream was very delicious and festive- and the server gave us huge scoops. My one complaint is the price- it was over $16 for a regular scoop and a kids scoop. I know that's the new standard for ice cream these days, but I thought id mention it. read more

Walking around Park Ave in Winter Park, my friend and I found this place which is one of the most sinful, desirable, and delightful places when searching for something sweet and simple...well, not at Kilwins. OMG! This place has a tons of a different types of chocolate and treats that I couldn't choose from because I want them ALL!!! I had the rice crispy treat covered in chocolate and it was a good square size that could be split in 2 or even 3 pieces, but knowing myself, a chocolate monster... I couldn't resist it and ate it the whole thing! It was delicious and very crispy! It was a huge dose of sugar I didn't mine to eat! I have to go back to try more of their delicious sinful treats! read more

Kilwins is always a treat, but what makes it extra special for me is that they carry my favorite childhood ice cream,Superman! It's such a fun, colorful throwback that brings back the best memories. Creamy, vibrant, and just as delicious as I remember. And don't even get me started on the caramel-covered Oreos--absolute perfection! Rich, gooey, and totally addictive. Between the nostalgic flavors and the variety of handmade sweets, Kilwins is a must-stop whenever I'm nearby. read more

$8 for two small scoops of unspectacular ice cream. Way overpriced. I would not go back.

The smell alone will draw you in from the freshly made waffle cones and chocolate how could you not stop here! I had the two berry ice cream and it was delicious with pie crust pieces. The chocolate covered krispy was made perfectly. What a treat and they also offer gifts for those who live sweet treats like I do. Nice customer service read more

As the people around me know I have a sweet tooth and love all things chocolate. So of course I've been to this location a couple of times now. It's part of a bigger chain in the Southeast area and this location delivers much like its sister stores. It is smaller and can get a bit crowded during busy times. However, they do lay things out in a way that's easy to see what all is on offer. They are quick to move the line of people if there is one, and they're always friendly. You can get anything from a custom-made to order dessert, to to-go truffles and ice cream. They do not have any seating inside but you can always take it for a walk down Park Avenue, or there are a couple of small tables and benches in the immediate area if they're open. This is always a great treat after visiting one of the many nearby restaurants. Overall: A Always a great way to satisfy my sweet tooth when we're in the area. read more

Kilwins is my go-to ice cream shop on Park Avenue in Winter Park. As soon as you walk in you smell the chocolate and waffles, such a wonderful smell. They make some of the products in house, so you can see them working with fudge or making the waffle cones. There are nearly 32 ice flavors to pick from and my favorites are the mint chocolate chip, chocolate and coffee. There are also chocolates, truffles, milkshakes, coffee, caramel apples, and more treats. They also have some sorbets. The shop is small, with no indoors seating area, only a couple of tables outside. It is more like a grab-and-go. This place is the perfect ending for a day walking on Park avenue or a treat after dinner. During peak hours it can get busy so be patience, the line moves quickly. read more

Boyfie got Georgia Peach and I got Chocolate, both in a waffle cone. I'm no ice cream connoisseur, but it's not worth the price for me. I wouldn't be back. Single scoop is $7.29 and double scoop is $10.99 (in a waffle cone). It's easy to say to expect higher prices because of the location, but as of August 2023 there's a new ice cream spot 8 minutes away in Winter Park Village that's reasonably priced and also tastes delicious. It was also challenging for me to find a recent menu online (google/yelp) before visiting the shop, so refer to photo below for the menu as of April 2023. read more

I always love stopping here at park Ave or the celebration location. Their chocolate is amazing. I always get the dark chocolate orange peels and dark chocolate rice crispy treat. If you're looking for a quick place to grab dessert on Park Ave, I highly recommend Kilwins. Even on a busy night, the service was quick. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor and loved it. The only thing I didn't like is how calories were displayed, which can be triggering if you deal with an ED. I'll be back! read more

Yummy ice cream in the heart of Winter Park, FL. I got the cappuccino chocolate chip flavor, I am a coffee lover but they have many more different flavors. You can choose the cone you'd like as well as any toppings they have. The shop is also considered a chocolate shop which they sell individual chocolates. I will say, it's a little pricey but it's good, which makes up for it! read more

A great way to treat yourself when enjoying a nice walk through Winter Park. Lots of ice cream flavors along with tons of candy that I didn't even get a chance to try. Seemed like some great local flavor, better than a big national chain. Mackinac Island Fudge: I really enjoyed this one! It was a vanilla base with tons of thin fudge swirls. Almost like the Viennetta ice cream cake, if it was made of real good ice cream. I'm kinda weird in that I love fudge toppings but don't like chocolate ice cream, so this was perfect for me to get a very chocolaty scoop without actually getting chocolate ice cream. Marsh-Mallow S'more: I liked the chocolate and graham cracker bits, which gave it a fun texture. The marshmallow swirls were nice and even tasted like a little toasted. The marshmallow ice cream tasted a little funky though; so probably better as a swirl than an ice cream base flavor. read more

It was love at first scent! As soon as you open the door, you are transported into a world of waffle cone, caramel and fudge! The scent is out of this world! They have definitely taken a great amount of precaution during this time frame. They have a place for everyone to wait away from the cashiers so that the people at the cash register have time to choose what they would like. Unfortunately, I did not like that you could not view the different ice cream flavors, so if this is your first time there, you had better use your imagination. LOL! Their waffle cones are absolutely amazing and the ice cream was pretty good too! I wanted a apple, but I will get it the next time as I did not want to get a cavity! You must try this place while on Park Avenue, there are tons of ice cream shops and all are different, but this one is a classic. read more

Something about this place feels special. They have REAL hot chocolate. It's rich and chocolatey (unlike those awful powder packets they sell at most grocery stores). They even sell real chocolate shavings to make it at home. I bought it as a cute gift for my grandpa. Their ice cream is the real-deal, super creamy. They have the basic flavors and some unique flavors they rotate out. The store has a variety of other delicious sweets, like fudge, clusters, caramel popcorn, chocolates, and more. read more

While the ice cream is good, it's nowhere near the price. I paid $5.50 for 1 small scoop of ice cream. I've had better ice cream for less money at many parlors. I love the atmosphere in the shop but I would choose to go elsewhere for ice cream in the future. read more

I've visited twice now. Love the chocolate but staff needs to work on not touching their hair or body while fixing orders. It's nasty even if you have gloves on. My friend said that the guy who took our order took out a product to weigh it for her but she didn't want it anymore because he ran the gloves through his hair while waiting on the scale to tell the weight. The first time I visited, I didn't want the staff member with a runny nose to service me. One more strike and I may stay away forever. The chocolate is good and staff is wearing masks. read more

Kilwin's is The Bombdiggity. I cannot tell you the number of times my wife and I eat dinner on our side of town and then drive clean across town to get dessert at Kilwin's. I am lactose-intolerent so I get the raspberry sorbetto. And I always get a waffle cone. It is the best. The moment I open the door to Kilwin's, I am transported to an old-fashioned ice-cream store from my childhood. The delicious smells of chocolate cooking, and the aroma of freshly baked cones. I get my standard 2 scoops of raspberry sorbetto in a waffle cone and some assortment of chocolates or fudge. This is real homemade fudge, not some high volumes attempt at fudge that has an overly processed taste. My wife has a hard time making a selection; she has no issues with lactose so she has more choices. I have never put anything in my mouth at Kilwin's that was not delicious from the first-to-the-last bite! read more

This place caught my eye while exploring Winterpark. We decided to go inside and check it out. This is a chocolate lovers heaven. They have sooo many options. You will find something to suite your taste. I opted for the milk chocolate tuttles. Created a variety pack of macadamia, pecan, and cashew ones. They did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place gets pretty full due to also serving ice cream. Family friendly environment. Look forward to trying more items! Good price point. read more

We were in Winter Park looking for an ice cream place for dessert. We ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake. We added hot fudge to our milkshake. We had hoped for a better milkshake and were disappointed in flavor and cost of the shake, 13.00. I understand of the location of Winter Park, but, $13.00 was much, just my opinion. As far as going back, all depends if we were unable to find something else. read more

I came here while in Winter Park because it looked like a fun place. I ordered a single scoop of salted caramel in a cup. Expensive but the caramel peanut apples are delicious. Ask if they have any specials. They had buy one get one free apples the night I went in. We went on the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour and decided to get ice cream to keep the celebratory mood going. We were so happy with everything we got, I normally do not eat dairy, but was easily coerced into trying the salted caramel ice cream, others in our party had key lime and toasted coconut of which I was able to get a taste of each, so incredible, but the salted caramel ice cream was by far the best. Due to operator error, you can only see a blurry pic of the salted caramel, but worth the trip. read more

Came in on a Wednesday night after my daughters band concert. She attends Glenridge and if you're aware of "FL law" you MUST take your students out for ice cream after their concerts ‍ Anyway, it was our first time here. And to our surprise, every Wednesday it's BOGO waffle cones! Perfect!! Less than $7 for two waffle cones, I'll take it! We both got the waffle bowls, she chose chocolate chip cookie dough while I opted for the simple yet delicious coconut. So Wednesday night, around 8pm, parking was fairly easy to find along park ave right across the street. Can't say it would be as easy during the day, but for Kilwins, I think it's worth the extra walk if you need to park further away read more

Excellent ice cream shop in Winter Park. Great variety flavors and most importantly wife approve. It beats Leopold's by a landslide.
