Loved this place! The colors are very inviting and the chocolates were so pretty. It was hard to figure out what to try. We landed on mouse cake, a mochachino, and a few chocolates. There was nice jazz music playing and it was as if we were on vacation. The coffee was delicious and the cake was perfect. Taking the chocolates home. Plan to return to try more cake, chocolates and ice cream.
Ohh la la I absolutely love how fabulously chic this restaurant is! AJ Chocolate House in Winter Park, Florida, is a European-style cafe known for its luxurious ambiance and extensive selection of handmade Belgian chocolates, with over 150 varieties imported from Europe. It offers a decadent experience with items like sipping chocolate, fondue, cakes, waffles, and coffee, and is a popular spot for dates, brunch and solo dates! I enjoyed having brunch with my bestie here for the first time and truly cannot wait to come back, maybe even for a birthday celebration. Prices were reasonable and the posh interior was Miranda Priestley approved lol !
Went here the day before Mother's Day to celebrate with my mom, grandma and aunt! It was all our first time and we were all very pleased with the food and dessert items. The tea tower was amazing and we added crostinis! I would definitely come back with friends or family. We sat first and then ordered at the register. The cashier was very friendly and patient while we order. The seating was intimate and it was a calm atmosphere.
I sometimes buy a truffle or 2, maybe a few... Last time, I tried a ginger chocolate one that melts when you put it in coffee. I had a coffee from the new Austin's Coffee location in the car. Tasted great, I really enjoyed the ginger flavor, fine candy, nicely candied. I also tried a cinnamon fudge one that had a light cinnamon flavor due to the cinnamon powdered sugar coating. Most pieces are $3, & the coffee one was $3.50 but it was slightly larger. They used to give free samples, but I haven't seen that in a while. There's a room that offered something like tea service, by reservation. The window is frosted, no view due to the parking lot, but the chandelier & decor is very nice. Parking is easy, must be a patron.
They have a parking lot! First time coming and wish I knew since parking on park Ave is always such a struggle. Fantastic service, great food options and the place is very cute. I had the prosciutto and fig jam crostini with a dessert wine and a slice of hazelnut almond cake. Everything was exquisite, the atmosphere adorable and relaxing with lots of soft seating. I tried AJ chocolate house over the weekend and it was so yummy! I tried all three tea platters & the sandwich one was my favorite! I also tried 3 different teas, rose, chai, (my favorite,) & peach. I would say three platters can help keep about 10 ppl full. The chocolates look oh so cute! I didn't get an opportunity to try but I have a reason to go back :)
Food was absolutely unreal! You HAVE to get the fig and salmon crostinis. We came for Galentine's and it was the perfect night out. The vibes are upscale, stunning and inviting. We loved the valentines decorations. The charcuterie tower was full of so many delicious things! The waffles that we dipped in chocolate had a crunch to them and I was obsessed. The fondue was also amazing. We'll definitely be back! Great date night idea.
The service was off their game. Not very approachable and made an open table reservation and they didn't mark it. Really enjoy the food with the charcuterie tea experience. Their tea tray was slanted and felt like we were going to lose the tray the whole time. There was a lot of food included on tea experience and you got a pot of tea as well. They ran out of tea cups and gave us espresso cups.
Amazed at the options, yes, but more so, amazed at just how delicious was the chocolate Marzipan cake. We will return.
This place is incredible! I will definitely be coming back. I went here for brunch with a friend and it is honestly the best place for this or even a date night. The atmosphere is cute and the food is delicious. Kassi was the absolute best! She's super friendly, knowledgeable, and loved sharing her favorite and suggestions to us! I cannot wait to come back!
AJ Chocolate is an experience, not just a dessert shop. From the moment you walk in, to inhaling the decadent chocolates. There isn't much parking on the premises. We parked on the streets. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The moment we walked in, there was so much to look at. The menu is vast, with so many options it's almost impossible to decide. Everything looks incredible, and the shop itself is beautifully decorated, making it fun and elegant all at once. Half of my family made a beeline for the gelato while the other half headed straight for the chocolates and cheesecake and everyone was thrilled with their choice. What we ordered was very yummy (and I don't even care for chocolates)! Whether you're craving gelato, chocolate, cheesecake, drinks, or brunch, this place has something for everyone and is well worth the visit.

We loved the waffle with all the fruit and milk chocolate to drizzle over. Rich and decadent with fresh fruit, this dish was a great brunch choice. Also loved the Brie and apple sandwich and portions are huge. Staff was so nice and the whole vibe is fun. They even had the Christmas decor up with festive music playing. I would definitely recommend checking this spot out for fun lunch or to grab some tasty chocolates for friends and family (or yourself)! Only critiques are pricey chocolates so this would be a treat and parking is limited.
A CHOCOLATE LOVERS DREAM!! I stopped by AJ Chocolate House after dinner as I had a mean sweet tooth that needed satisfying and boy did they deliver. They are located in the Park Ave area by Rollins and thankfully have their own parking lot. Lots of seating inside as well! Their menu options were fast from anything coffee, gelato, fruit, to sandwiches! I went with the Belgian waffle, sipping hot chocolate, and Norwegian hot chocolate. Our order was made right away and brought to our table along with some water. These menu items were so rich and decadent that my friend and I should have probably shared the drinks! They are the thick European hot chocolates that you see online. Definitely drinkable but you should probably use a spoon. The mix of the dark chocolate in our drinks thankfully helped with the sweetness as we didn't find it super sweet but ymmv! read more

We went to AJ'S Chocolate House for happy hour. 2 for 1 wines and discounted appetizers. The service was a bit slow considering there were only a few patrons but the food, wine and chocolates made up for it. The decor was very cute and eclectic with an outdoor space as well. read more
It's chocolate. Good quality, but nothing special in my opinion. I would maybe come back to try the chocolate mulled wine, but otherwise the hot chocolate was how you would expect it to be. Unless you're a huge chocolate lover, I would recommend getting something a little more complex. The interior is cute, it has almost a Bridgerton-like vibe with the wallpaper and art. The highlight of the visit was definitely their happy hour -- such a great deal and totally worth it. The atmosphere made it a really enjoyable place to relax and indulge a little. What a lovely place to spend an afternoon! It was raining and my friends and I stopped by. The ambiance and atmosphere is so beautiful. The dishes are not too sweet like other chocolate spots. The decor is gorgeous and the seating is comfortable. This place seems pretty clean to me too. The staff is great, we ordered at the counter. Some of the items were a little pricey, a slice of cake is $12.99 so that was a bit steep. read more

We had wanted to go in this place to see what it was all about, so we just popped in real quick. The inside is very cute and cozy. We looked at the chocolates, but they a way too expensive in my opinion. A small box of six chocolates was $36. They are very nice in there and one girl walked us around to explain the options for purchase. They do have wine available, we opted out for that. read more

AJ is a great stop during a random walk down Park Avenue. A friend and I stopped in for a drink and to check out the chocolate offerings and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. The restaurant was well decorated and clean. We decided to take a seat outside since it was a nice day and the chairs on the inside were kind of low. I got an affogato with dark chocolate and it was delicious and not overly sweet. We got a few more drinks and sat for a while and loved how the staff checked on us without making us feel rushed. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. We even met the owner who gave us some history on the business. I definitely recommend AJ for a sweet treat in a beautiful environment. read more

This has become our go to when we're in the winter park area and craving something sweet. Ambiance is always cozy and staff if always friendly. Once again we had the fondue with fruits and it always hits the sweet spot! Also tried a chocolate cherry and it was very good. Perfectly sweet and tart. read more

My husband and I treated ourselves to a fun little date day and finally got to check out AJ Chocolate House on Park Ave. We had lunch nearby and wanted something sweet to cap it off. The weather was beautiful -- perfect for sitting outside on the patio and I loved how they had little throw blankets on each chair since it was a little chilly. We perused the glass cases of chocolates, cakes, gelato and more. It was a little unclear where/how were were supposed to order or whether we were meant to sit first and order with a server. We ended up ordering at the counter and they gave us a number. We sat at a table and waited for our treats to come out. We ordered their signature Norwegian hot chocolate to share (a layered hot chocolate with dark chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate topped with whipped cream). FYI this is real hot chocolate - not a traditional hot chocolate beverage but instead more like a mousse. It was super rich, creamy, and delicious! I definitely recommend sharing this. We each also got a cake slice. I went with the meringue crumble cake which was soooo good and unlike any cake I've ever had. I'm not a big frosting girl which this cake did not have and I'd say it's more similar to a pie in texture. My husband went with the roasted almond cheesecake which he really enjoyed. It was very pricey overall for these decadent desserts, but at least we had enough for leftovers for later that evening which was nice. read more

I came on a Tuesday night with a bunch of friends and found out it was Ladies Night. They had someone playing a keyboard and signing, and all ladies got a percentage off their bill, so that was a fun little surprise. I ordered the wine and chocolate flight. You got to choose one glass of wine and three of any of the chocolates in the case (which was quite hard because they all looked delicious and there were so many to choose from.) I ordered all dark chocolate: chocolate brownie filling, ghost pepper chili, and marzipan. They were all delicious! The brownie didn't taste much like a brownie, more just thick straight chocolate, so that was my least favorite. The marzipan was awesome. The chili was my favorite, with a subtle hint of spice on the back end. The inside is quite small but nicely decorated and has a romantic feel to it. There is a server that brings your orders to you but you can't actually order with them which is a bit weird; you have to order at the counter. Each individual chocolate is $3. read more

Everything looked so perfect I wanted to love it, but it just missed the mark in flavor. We all ordered slices of cake and variations of the hot chocolate. The cake was sweet, but no distinct flavor it was pistachio but I couldn't taste it and the hot chocolate's did not have that rich flavor I was hoping for. read more

I saw AJ Chocolate House when I searched for desserts on Yelp in Orlando. I saw that they had Dubai chocolate, great reviews, and I was intrigued. We visited on a Wednesday evening before a stroll down Park Ave. The inside is just lovely, well decorated, and had a romantic and sophisticated style. I got the Norwegian hot chocolate, which had layers of melted milk, dark, and white chocolate thick enough to eat with a spoon. It was heavenly and creamy. Such a delicious treat. The quality of the chocolate was top shelf. We also got a slice of the Dubai chocolate cake to go. It was my first time trying the Dubai chocolate, and it was pretty good. I always like pistachio so I enjoyed that flavor. read more

I came here for brunch for my birthday with my husband. I had seen reels and photos of this place all over my social media feed for months now and finally made the reservation to go. We were given a table with a number and were instructed to order at the counter and our order would be brought to our table. The ambience is pleasing and the selection of chocolate and food options is impressive. They had brunch, breakfast and desserts on the menu as well as alcoholic beverages and chocolate drinks. We ordered the tea tier and it was amazing! I got to pick 3 chocolates of my choice from their selection to go with my order and I even received a happy birthday chocolate mousse with a candle on it! The croissants were 3 different kinds and were all delicious. There were 3 different shot glasses of dessert, chocolate and Belgian waffles with whipped cream and white and milk chocolate sauce. My husband also ordered a sip of white chocolate which was served in an espresso cup and warmed. This was an unexpected taste of heaven omg. Service was great and I highly recommend this place for something unique. We felt fancy and loved the food and drinks. 10/10 will be back. read more

The new kid on the block in Park Ave! I remember when this location was Frappe Start. That only lasted a few minutes... I think it's a nice addition to Park Ave to have an upscale chocolate shop. They're in competition with PetersBrook, but they have a larger variety, wine, hot chocolate and specialty desserts. The hot chocolate was what we wanted today. It was amazing! I got the dark chocolate and Michelle got the Norwegian. It's Like sipping on a melted chocolate bar! It was very delicious though! We needed the spoon to fully enjoy! The Norwegian was extremely rich and thick! My dark chocolate was thinner and sipped more like a traditional hot cocoa. I can definitely see coming back to try some of the chocolates and speciality desserts. read more
