I'm cell versed in Matcha and this is one of the best matchas I've ever had. Tastes authentic
Matcha Maiko is always busy and for good reason! They have seasonal items that are delicious along with their signature matcha items. During this visit, I tried their mango sticky rice ive cream. The mango ice cream was sweet and creamy topped with fresh, sweet mango, warm sticky rice that stays soft and chewy even in the ice cream, and crunchy coconut dried bits. There was supposed to be a coconut cream sauce as well but they ran out since I went late in the day. Even without it, it was very good.
It would have been a 5-star if not for the mochi. It's rocking hard, I'm not sure if it's undercooked or just old? Other than that the ice cream is good. The shaved ice is flavorful
Great matcha spot on miller in Orlando. I ordered the honeycomb matcha latte, mango sticky rice matcha, and black sesame matcha with ube cold foam. Overall, everything was delicious. Cashier was super helpful and informative and it was much appreciated.
Tried Café Maiko in downtown Orlando and really enjoyed it. The matcha is high-quality and smooth -- I got the Hojicha drink and it had a nice roasted flavor that's different from regular matcha. What stands out is how many unique and interesting options they have: pistachio foam lattes, banana pudding matcha, pumpkin spice floats, lychee spritz, melon floats, taiyaki, shaved ice, and creative soft-serve parfaits. The menu is huge with lots of fun twists. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop has a clean, modern vibe with good seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and quick. If you like matcha or want something beyond basic drinks, this is a great spot. Definitely worth checking out in downtown Orlando! Will be back to try more items

The Matcha latte we received was way too sweet for a normal matcha latte and the hojicha latte I got was grainy...disgusting. I tossed mine. Staff were very friendly and efficient even through they were very busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They and the cute interior saved this place from being a 1 or 2 star.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll update if I make it back for ice cream.
Amazing Matcha with fantastic add-ons. We were checking out the Mills market and I wanted to get some Matcha, so I looked on yelp and found that this place was very highly rated. It definitely gets busy, but the line moves very fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a sign that says no laptops on weekends, which I appreciate because that means the tables are free for people to drink their Matcha eat their ice cream and leave.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I got a Matcha latte with cheese foam and honeycomb. The honeycomb is delicious, it's real honeycomb and fantastic. This is for future Christina, but I found the drink itself a little, overly sweet. That might be because I added the honeycomb, but next time I will ask for it to be 25 to 50% less sweet if I get the cheese foam and honeycomb again. I actually wasn't sure if it was going to be sweetened to begin with, but it is. I like that they don't put a lot of ice in, so the medium was definitely enough. It also means that your drink doesn't get that diluted. The Matcha itself is absolutely delicious, don't let the outside of the storefront fool you. We walked by it at first before I started looking on yelp and it doesn't look like anything special from the outside. Parking around this area is pretty difficult. We did park down the street and walked, but because there is so much around here, this is an area that you stopped at multiple places, which will make finding a parking spot worth it.
I love visiting Matcha Cafe Maiko whenever I can because I know their matcha quality will always be great. This time I got to try a seasonal item, Pistachio foam matcha latte and I was in obsessed! Their black sesame latte is also always delicious. I don't usually go 100% sugar on my drinks but this time I did and the sugar level was just the right amount to me. Front desk is friendly and they offer fast service with not too long of a wait for our drinks to be made. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside has few seating but enough for a fast turnaround of visitors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is very limited in the back, but there is street parking available.
We came on New Years Day and it was busy. The line moves pretty fast and we were given a buzzer for our order. We waited no longer than 10 minutes for our order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is cute and there is a circle chair that's a perfect photo op.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking situation is like the Hunger Games like most places in the Mills area. Luckily we were pretty much in and out. We ordered: -Special- Banana Pudding Matcha Latte -Matcha Latte with Ube Foam -Nutella Taiyaki I enjoyed the Matcha with Ube Foam and the Nutella Taiyaki. It tastes high quality versus other Matcha's I've tried. My partner didn't like Matcha but he was trying it for the first time. It's too "earthy" for him but he did enjoy the Banana Pudding part.

We lucked out yesterday morning with no line! The first time I came to Cafe Maiko, there was a line out the door! I wanted something a little sweeter this time around, so I tried the honeycomb iced matcha latte. I ordered this as a medium size with almond milk, and while it wasn't super sweet at first sip, the honeycomb seeped into the matcha as time passed and it got a little sweeter and sweeter. The ambiance inside is very cozy and clean and the staff gives you a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready. The parking situation was easy, with a lot out back, and I definitely want to come back and try their other fun matcha creations!
Tiktok be overhyping everything.,. It was OKAY. No preference between Bin Bong which is a two minute walk around the corner of the block and this place. The matcha icecream is good from here. They have sweetness levels and I got regular, with oatmilk. Ice chunks were better than Bin Bong.
I absolutely loved my visit to Premium Matcha Cafe Maiko! Ive been here a few times and the drinks have been consistent, if you're a true matcha fan, this place is a must-try. You can immediately tell the matcha is high quality and authentic ...rich, smooth, and not bitter. My cousins and I tried the Oreo matcha , Strawberry and Banana Matcha and the Honeycomb Matcha, and all were incredible. The Strawberry and Banana Matcha had fresh fruit and refreshing with each sip, with just the right amount of natural sweetness from the fruit so it wasn't overly sweet. The Honeycomb Matcha was the standout for me. It's actual pieces of real honeycomb which added a deep, caramel-like sweetness that paired beautifully with the earthy matcha. It was such a unique combination and balanced. On top of amazing drinks, the menu has a great variety of matcha and hojicha options, plus delicious desserts and soft serve. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is small and there usually is a long line, but it goes by fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, this is easily one of the best matcha spots I've had. I'll definitely be back to try more maybe with Ube flavors...highly recommend if you love premium matcha and creative flavors!

Craving the soft serve here and wanting to try the UBE. They offer samples of the custards if you are not sure which to get. I sampled the vanilla and ube. Both were delicious but the UBE stood out for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This time it was not as packed and warm temp like it can be at times here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the Maiko Parfait in Ube : soft-serve with mochi balls, Japanese chestnut, adzuki red beans, sponge cake, corn flake, & agar jelly for $9ish. It was a delicious creamy not too sweet ube soft serve that had a delicious taste of ube. It was bright purple with the yummy-ness of this creamy ube flavor not the flavor im used to in filipino version ice creams. It had the mochi balls and chesnut - Corn flakes, Matcha sponge cake - Red beans, and jelly. I love this dessert. The interesting part of this soft serve - It was slow to melt! It was sturdy enough that when you take your time and enjoy it - It does not melt so fast unlike other soft serves. Would def come back again and get UBE! read more

I kept hearing about this place and wow. The matcha went above my expectations. Just by the color of my drink I knew I wouldn't be disappointed. I got a strawberry matcha and it had such an authentic matcha taste. Not too sweet either, although they offer a half sweet option. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is absolutely adorable and a nice cozy area to enjoy your matcha with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was friendly and quick. Parking can be a little tricky as expected in the downtown area but there is a small lot next door and they offer a QR code inside to validate it for you. Ok I've been trying to be a matcha girlie for like 5 years now and I think it's finally official. I've been ordering matcha at basically every coffee shop around town lately, and I have to say that this is THE spot! They pretty much always have a line at any time of the day if that tells you anything. They have lots of creative matcha combinations and viral drinks, but I love a good strawberry matcha and this is the best one I've had so far. You can actually taste the strawberry when it mixes with the matcha and it's a fresh strawberry flavor -- not like a syrup. Trust me, it's so good! I've also tried their viral banana pudding matcha which was... interesting. The banana pudding on top was AMAZING if you just eat it straight up with a spoon, but once it mixed into the drink you couldn't really taste it anymore and it made the matcha chunky. I would get it again and just eat the pudding first, haha. read more

This Matcha Café is a hidden gem in Orlando! There's plenty of parking on the side of the building, which makes it easy to pop in for a quick stop. Service is always fast, and the matcha blends are consistently delicious--whether you go for one of their seasonal specials or stick to the classics, you really can't go wrong. The seating area is small, but honestly, the real star here is the baked goods. Every pastry I've tried pairs perfectly with their drinks and elevates the whole experience. I've been back several times now, and the fact that I keep returning says it all. Definitely add this spot to your matcha tour of Orlando--you won't be disappointed! read more
I have heard good things about this spot, and so I was excited to check it out! The service was great, I loved their little hangout spot, and that they even had photo opportunities! This honeycomb matcha was honestly not my favorite though. I did not realize that it was just regular matcha with honeycomb toffee on top, which I wish was made clear to me. I had them add a shot of vanilla which helped a little, but I think that much sugar made my stomach upset. I do want to go back and give them another try, I just know now in the future to ask if the matcha is flavored with the item or is it on top only read more

There was a time where this was the MAIN spot to get your matcha latte in Mills50. It's crazy how we now have a multitude of options and the original spots can become overlooked. I still stop by this cafe when I'm in town and really enjoy all of the options available. They really do have high quality matcha. This time I tried the banana pudding matcha latte, what a treat. Whole chunks of banana pudding in a bright green matcha latte. Ordering is simple enough, the girls behind the counter were all nice. The one downside of this place is the lack of seating. When I'm solo it's easy to take my drink with me and continue walking, but if I wanted to come in a group this wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Hands down best matcha in the area. You can definitely tell the matcha is great quality. The variety offered is amazing and so are their prices. No over priced latte here. Downsides- traffic/ parking and long line/ wait time. My Go To: Iced/hot matcha latte with ube foam. Iced Yuzu matcha Tea spritz. read more

delicious as always - one of my favorite places to get my matcha fill. i always mean to get a latte or something else they have on their extensive menu but i end up with something cold & matcha !! the ube ice cream is creamy & the matcha always taste quality. i love the squishy mochi balls - they only give 2 so if you want more then order extra. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i do want to note that it gets pretty busy inside & the constant beeping can get a little crazy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]maybe if they switched it to vibrate only it could be nice because our entire stay had non stop beeping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]cheers to staying busy though !![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] see ya again soon. read more
This place has been going viral all over social media for their banana pudding matcha latte, however I just wanted to try their iced matcha drinks in general. I stopped by around 5:30 on Saturday and it was packed inside with a line excited to order their matcha treat. While in line, I contemplated over getting an iced matcha latte with an ube cold foam, an iced strawberry matcha latte, or the viral banana pudding matcha latte. I did keep it simple with an iced matcha latte with almond milk and an ube cold foam. It came out to $7 and some change. I waited in the crowded store which is modern and cute. About 10 minutes later, my drink order was ready. Aesthetically, it's photo worthy. Unfortunately, my matcha latte was not an iced latte. It was lukewarm with a few ice cubes. Kinda of disappointing however the drink overall was good. The ube foam was delicious with this nutty, yam like taste. It wasn't super sweet which I like because you can taste the matcha flavor. Once I mixed the ube foam and matcha together, it was really good. It had an earthy, vanilla flavor profile but again it wasn't iced. However, I will be returning to Premium Matcha for another matcha latte and I need to try their ube and matcha soft serve in a cone ASAP. I'll definitely recommend this spot but I would say to stop in maybe during the week or earlier in the day to beat the crowd. read more

I was in the mood for Matcha and was told Premium Matcha was the best place to go. The parking lot is small so most ppl park next door or down the street. The line is consistently long , but moves fast. The limited edition matcha flavor is Banana Pudding so that's what I ordered. I also got 2 Taiyakis ( cheddar & custard). I was in & out with my order in under 10 mins even with the Taiyakis cooked fresh & made to order . It was impossible to get a table but I sat for a few by the window. The banana pudding matcha latte was good . I'm still not sure if it was best to stir it like I did or eat it off the top . The ambiance was busy and customer service was as great . You can find me at least once a month trying out the flavor of the month for their soft serve -- rose, Thai tea, jasmine tea, melon, so many more -- I haven't tried a flavor that I didn't love yet. The matcha quality and flavor here is fantastic, and they make it so well. The Strawberry Matcha is basic, but it's my go-to. Lines are always packed out the door on evenings and weekends. This is a great spot for matcha and great matcha flavor combinations! Matcha Ube, an absolute must! Matcha with matcha ice cream sure why not, or my favorite (which is not even matcha) a black sesame latte with oat milk, hot or iced. They are always busy here so be prepared to wait, and you probably won't find a seat to hang for a bit. I ordered the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte with oat milk and it is really good! I wish I ordered the matcha a little sweeter, but I love sweet drinks so that's on me lol. The banana pudding on top is absolutely incredible!!! They have lots of options on their menu and their limited time specials seem very delicious too! read more

When it comes to matcha, Cafe Maiko can't be beat! I ordered their housemade honeycomb matcha latte and it's hands-down my new favorite matcha drink in town. The honeycomb melts into the drink over time and gives it a wonderful sweetness without being overpowering. What I especially appreciated was the fact that they give out buzzers to know when your order is ready! It was really nice not having to wait around the counter. read more

My friends wanted to grab dessert and suggested Cafe Matcha Maiko. Only one problem, I don't really like Matcha!! I was unsure if there would be anything for me here but decided to go find out. It was very crowded so clearly a very popular spot. It smelled amazing as soon as I stepped inside and the interior was cute. Fortunately for me, they have some non matcha items on the menu. I chose Ube Soft Serve ice cream. It was ready quickly even though it was so busy. The ice cream was delicious! I love Ube so I knew I would like it but it was even better than expected. My friends all got matcha drinks and liked theirs too. read more
