I really enjoy eating here because of the good food, friendly service, and the fact that they promote non-profit charities that give back. I have yet to be disappointed with Jersey Mike's --particularly with this location. When I say I like this location, it's because of the staff. Every time I visit during my lunch break, the line full of hungry customers and lots of orders are being taken at once... and yet despite all the stressful commotion, they always seem to have a smile on their face and a friendly attitude. Good fast food joints like these are hard to find now and days and you aren't going to get this at Subways. The sandwiches here are great and I love how the meat and cheese is sliced right in front of you so you know it's fresh. Two of my favorites are the Chipotle Cheese Steak Sandwich (#43) and the Club Supreme (#9)... oh, and when you order you gotta have it "Mikey's way!" (which is with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices). If you are really hungry, you can it in the giant size which is 15", or if you are like me who like's to watch their proportions, get the 7.5" length. I like how they promote giving back to the community as well. So far, they have been running a six month fund raiser for Susan G. Komen for the cure and it will last until the end of October. Several other fund raisers take place as well and is showcased and updated on their website. Although I'm not sure if the business itself actually gives back, they do a good job of collecting donations.

Can't lean on the glass smh

Can't lean on the glass smh. Great service though. You definitely should pop out. Nice young ladies behind the counter.

By far the best place to get subs in UCF area. Austin at the University Blvd. location is a sandwich artist. Great service.

But be aware that is can be super addicting!!! Have them toast it for you! My other favorite was the egg tarts, the lightness and crispy edges were so yummy!! one perfect bite or maybe 2! The cinnamon roll was also a good pastry! Just enough sweetest and texture. If you are into the savory side, the ube custard crumb bun was actually a subtle choice, you can taste the ube. Their pistachio iced latte was also delish. We also got to try the tiramisu iced latte. 1 Bacon Shokupan Egg Sandwich, this had a lot of egg filling, also a great choice, I was super full from all the pastries so I'll have the other options when I'm back in town! Server: Sydney She was nice and patient, great space, plenty of parking!

And what caught my eye when doomscrolling through instagram and skimming through my apps for recommended food places were their sandwiches and pastries. They are as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. One thing I can't infer from a picture very well is the size. And let me tell you, that sandwich was pretty massive. It's larger than some of the burgers I've been trying out lately in the area, so you get every bang out of your buck. I got the Beef Bugolgi Shokupan Sandwich, which was bursting with a generous serving of beef and a really large, soft, fluffy scrambled egg, all packed between 2 super thick and pillowy buttery toasted bread. I also got the Pork Belly Bao, which I honestly like better than the sandwich. The bao buns are super fluffy, and the pork belly slices are perfectly thick sliced and flavorful. It's a great menu item to get if you want to share with another person since it comes with 2 servings per order. For dessert, I struggled a bit to pick and choose, haha. Of course I couldn't just pick one, but I am a little proud of myself for only selecting 2 instead of a whole entire box. From the pastry case, I picked the custard donut, which was soft, chewy, and stuffed to bursting with a pudding-like filling. And from the cake case, I got the Raspberry mousse. I couldn't resist that glass-like ruby red skin. But unfortunately, it was too tart for my taste. There's a lot on the menu that I can't try in just one visit, so I'm definitely bound to come back again.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. It's not my top pick for burgers, but it's definitely not a bad option either.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Saw an ad for D'Amico & Sons and decided it was worth the drive over to the Oviedo Mall for lunch…read more I'm glad I made the trip. The market occupies a storefront outside the mall with plenty of convenient parking nearby. Once inside, I was impressed by how spacious it is. There's a bakery, deli, gelato case, and an impressive selection of prepared foods including lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo, and other Italian favorites. Shelves are also stocked with imported pastas, sauces, olive oils, and other specialty items, making it just as much an Italian market as a lunch destination. I arrived around noon and found a short line at the deli counter. Even during the lunch rush, I had my order placed and was waiting in the pickup area within about five minutes. Now for my own self-inflicted mistake. I walked in fully intending to order the Sinatra with mortadella, but somehow had a complete brain freeze and ordered the Sparano instead. I didn't realize my error until I unwrapped the sandwich at one of the outdoor tables. Oh well...it looked too good not to dive in. The Sparano is built on a beautiful artisan roll with basil pesto, a cold chicken cutlet, Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. Flavor wise, it was excellent. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. My only criticism was the overall texture. The sandwich ate a little dry for my taste, and I think it could benefit from a touch more moisture, perhaps a little extra balsamic, olive oil, or another spread to better complement the hearty bread. The roll itself was exactly the type of rustic Italian bread I normally love, with a chewy interior and beautifully crisp crust. Combined with the generous size of the sandwich, however, it became a bit of a challenge to take a proper bite. By the end, the roof of my mouth had definitely lost the battle with that crust. Even so, the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion made it an excellent value. Next time I'll actually order the sandwich I intended, the Sinatra and if it's as good as it looks, I have a feeling I'll be making this trip more often.
