I visited this location on a Friday afternoon to get a sweet treat! I had a craving for ice cream and had never had the ice cream from Culver's before. I ordered a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel and brownie bites. There wasn't many people in the drive thru and I was lucky to order right away. The employee was friendly and took the order with ease. I only had to wait a few minutes to receive the order. I parked in the parking lot to enjoy my treat since I was on the go. The grounds were very clean and picked up. My ice cream was yummy. There were plenty of brownie bites that I really enjoyed. The cold treat was perfect on a hot summer day. It was great. read more

It took me a few visits to warm up to Culver's but now I'm hooked! It's better than most of the other popular fast food burger joints except Portillo's. Their customer service is amazing just like CFA. And they have ice cream flavors of the day that are delicious. The food is fresh so you have to wait a little bit but it's worth it. I love their signature sauce on the burgers & fries but not on their chicken, which is not good to me. The cheese curds are also just okay. I've yet to try their salads but it's on my list. Their app is okay, too, but the rewards program needs work. Culver's is my McDonald's now because I'll never go there again because the quality has plummeted so much. read more

Well we had enough kids meal tokens to get a FREE volleyball. My kid is pretty happy! I tried the lemon watermelon slush and it was way too sweet for me. I am not a huge huge fan on lemonade and I thought the watermelon flavoring would cut that but it did not. My dad liked it though and easily took over ownership of it. I also tried the concrete mixer with peanut butter and reeces cups and I was floored by how much candy was in there. Like at LEAST two full reeces cups. And ribbons of peanut butter to boot. DELISH. well worth it for that cold sweet treat on a hot day. We sat inside today and service was great as always. They bring the food to your table. Food quality is always consistent at Culver's. Great burgers and, of course, the custard is always a favorite! I was also really impressed with how management handled an issue with our order. We went through the drive-through and when I got home, I realized one item was missing. It wasn't worth driving all the way back, so I called and they immediately offered to send me a voucher for a free meal and took down my information. I honestly wasn't sure if I would actually receive anything, but sure enough, I did! They handled the situation professionally and followed through, which I really appreciated. Updating my review on Culver's from six years ago. It doesn't happen often, but there are times when I desperately need a meal that comes from a drive-thru, I need it to be close to my apartment, and I don't want it to necessarily come from a dollar menu. When that specific situation arises, Culver's is usually my go-to. Quality is about on par with what it was six years ago. It's better than any of the major nationwide chains, but still not as good as Whataburger. That being said, it's still the best drive-thru burger in Orlando. I enjoyed it. Also enjoyed were the sides of onions rings and cheese curds. Onion rings were nice and crispy, with a good little slither of onion inside, legit. Curds are so good. Proper amount of breading, good hunk of cheese inside, infinitely dippable in various sauces. Overall, this place is still good. I only took away a star because something from this meal gave me massive food poisoning and I had to miss work the next day. No biggie, it happens, but it really shouldn't. read more

I went here a week after opening. Ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. So be prepared for a bit of a wait. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use to fry the foods but my body did not agree with it. The employees are really friendly and answered all of my questions. I found out they use the same kind of fish for the fish and chips dinner that they do for the fish sandwich. So if you're curious like I was, hopefully this helps. Overall, I'm not sure if I would give Culver's another chance. I may try one of their shakes, but this may not be the fast food place for me. I have some friends who absolutely love it though so I guess it just kind of depends on you. read more

Pros: Very conveniently located right down the road from my apartment. Definitely our go-to drive-thru around home. Service is always fine. It's good food, so it takes time, but there are four pull-up spots where we can wait for our food. The food itself is always good. Probably the best drive-thru burger in town. Only because there's not a Whataburger around here yet. Cons: No usual cons, but my boyfriend definitely got food poisoning this most recent time we came here. Culver's is directly across the street from chicken salad chick. Just ordered the custard special today which was Cashew caramel. The problem is there was one little spot of caramel in it. I went thru the drive thru and started to eat it down the road otherwise I would have turned around. The crazy thing is the owner of the establishment handed it to me. You would think he would not have given that to a custard. Very small portion of custard and you could tell there was caramel in it. It was such a tiny amount you couldn't even taste it. I remember the first time I had Culver's vividly. Not because I'm a savant with a great memory, but because it's relatively new in these parts. This Wisconsin based chain delivers some of the best fast food burgers I've ever had. For pure burger goodness, they're probably a hair behind Five Guys, but are a fraction of the price (don't get me started on the cost of eating at that place). I remember the first time I had Cheese Curds (A&W). This time it's because they completely changed my view of fried cheese. How can cheese curds be better than cheese sticks? I don't know, but they are! They're not better than that big thick wheel of fried provolone though! Italians still got you beat there, cheese heads! It goes without saying, a trip to Culvers isn't complete without upgrading a combo meal to cheese curds. I've tried most of the items at Culvers over the years from the Pot Roast Sandwich (Delicious), Fried Pork Loin (bland), Reuben (good and greasy), Cod (Fantastic), and shrimp (good but I'd rather get more cod), Chicken Sandwiches (decent, but they ain't winning no chicken sandwich wars), and tenders (good). They also have ice cream or custard (I never really understood or tasted the difference). My current go to items are the fish and the burgers and of course, the cheese curds. Been here several times. Was excited to find out they were featuring my favorite fish through lent. Walleye from Canada. Had the dinner. Delicious two nice size pieces of fish breaded very lightly. Comes with tartar and/or cocktail sauce. Substituted their yummy mash potatoes with gravy for French fries. Also comes with good slaw which could be better with less mayonnaise. Also comes with roll and butter if you request butter. Too bad roll not warmed a bit but still ok. Ordered side of steamed broccoli. Tasty and fresh but would be better if warmed. Long day and lunch was needed so I stopped inside for a bacon double deluxe basket which comes with fries and a drink. ($11.22) My order came out quickly and it was all nice and fresh. Bacon was not overly cooked so it didn't crumble which is perfect and the fries were hot and crisp. read more

We had the Swiss melt with fries, sourdough with cheese curds, and a corn dog kids meal. My teen said the Swiss melt and fries were fine. My daughter liked hers. The sourdough didn't taste very sourdough but it was a good burger. I added bacon hoping I could get it to taste like a sour dough Jack :D. The cheese curds will keeps us coming back. Frozen custard milkshakes are not ice cream! My brother did not like custard so was very unhappy here. I didn't know there was such a huge difference :/ The burgers are great. I tried the pretzel burger and he got the sourdough burger and they were okay but I'd rather the straight up butter burger on their normal bun. They have a great thing there so there's no need to try anything fancy. Definitely go for the cheese curds because they're great! The only issue with the food was my brother ordered his sandwich with no onions and it said it on the receipt and the paper when the food was brought to the table but it had onions on it. So they took it back and remade it- and he still had a bite with some onion in it. He wasn't happy about that at all but the staff was very kind about making it right read more

The Resturant is clean and the people are friendly. I came here at 1 pm on a Friday so I would expect it to be at the tail end of the lunch rush. There was only 1 register open and 6 people ahead of me. It was 1:36 by the time my food came to the table. The cheese curds were hot and tasted good. My bacon burger was burnt to a crisp. They clearly did not have enough people working for the crowd. Doesn't really excuse the burnt burger. Kind of a shame. The place appeared promising but I doubt I'll be back. read more

Culver's is new for me so I wanted to go a few times before I reviewed it. I can say I am thoroughly impressed! Culver's seems to be better than the fast food chains in general but not quite fast casual for the main staples. For example, the burgers are much better than McD and Wendy's and the others but they aren't as good as Smashburger or Shake Shake. The prices are McD prices so a total win here. Get the double patties which are smashed and perfectly seared and meaty and juicy. The fries are good but nothing great. The onion rings are where it's at! The spicy chicken sandwich is a real contender for the middle of the pack. And I don't mean that in a bad way. It's not Popeyes or CFA. I'd put it toe to toe with KFC and slightly behind PDQ. What's holding it back is the patty is not thick and it's just not spicy enough. Definitely better than many though. They've got a great veggie burger too which my wife gave a double thumbs up. The chicken tenders are on point and I'd say better quality than KFC and Popeyes but they are plain so I will always prefer Popeyes tenders. The milkshakes are legit too with lots of flavors to choose from. Now they also serve pot roast and some other diner classics. I haven't tried those yet but that may help take this place over the top with its variety. Really I just wish there were more of these around. They definitely need to expand a lot more! read more

Culver's just opened up by my house here in Sanford Florida. Been going for years. Today they screwed up the order for the first time. Gave me something totally different from what I ordered. For as many people that look/handle the order you'd think they would have caught the mistake. The order was to go and by the time got home to eat it I wasn't going back to return it.
