I tried this place a couple of weeks ago because I was craving a chicken cheesesteak . It was my first time going . The server was really nice and made some great recommendations. I tried the regular chicken cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was pretty good. The chicken was moist and packed with flavors however at some point it was a bit over seasoned . I like that the cheese melted perfectly and the bun was soft . I would definitely come back. They also serve pretzels and coffee which was interesting . The ambiance was chill kind of gave a sports vibe . I will say I wish the chicken was a bit more grounded and next time I may get extra cheese

Pretty good sub! Customer service was great -- Philly cheesesteak was hot/fresh and well seasoned. I originally asked for squeeze cheese but they forgot to put it on there. Would like to try that version. All in all, I'm not sure if it's a favorite, but definitely worth trying.

I waited for this day. Ever since moving down south, I've been on a mission to find a real Philly cheesesteak--and finally, Big Dave's delivered. What you get here is flavorful, cheesy, mildly greasy madness that hits all the right notes. The kind of sandwich that speaks for itself the moment you unwrap it. That smell? That authentic aroma? You already know you're about to have a real moment. No shortcuts. No fluff. Just a solid, satisfying Philly that took me straight back up north. Normally I end my reviews by saying if I'd come back... but I'm already three sandwiches deep and I only found this place like two weeks ago. That should tell you everything. Thank you, Big Dave's

Oviedo-This new location is bright and clean. The workers behind the counter were very welcoming and gave us great info regarding their menu. The banana pudding-which we gobbled down before we got our sandwiches, was YUMMY! Not a huge fan of the rainbow Italian ice, but that may be because I'm not from the East Coast. Our Sammies were huge and had a ton of goodies on them. The meat was spilling out all over the wrapper. Definitely worth using a fork for all of the cheesy meaty goodness. Thankfully, we ate our sandwiches in house. Taking them home, they probably would have been a soggy mess. Definitely a great spot if you want a filling-cheesy-gooey- cheesesteak-sandwich!

We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded and the staff were very friendly. We just wanted something light so we decided on the cheesesteak rolls. These rolls were really good. They were made fresh to order and were piping hot. They had a good amount of meat filling and came with Thai chili sauce, which I love! It tastes very good and the meat and cheese were good quality, no cheap stuff. I definitely want to comeback for a cheesesteak sandwich and based on the rolls I know they are gonna be good!

I'm always down for a good cheesesteak, and Big Dave's did not disappoint. They come strong with the Amoroso's roll and Philly Pretzel Factory pretzels. The cheesesteak was just right - gooey, hot, cheesy. The roll held up well, though it was a messy eat - definitely used a few napkins. Philly pretzels were just as advertised and about the same as getting them from the factory in Philly. Service was quick, order at the counter. Plenty of seating. We actually ordered ahead and sat down to eat there. I'll be back.

If anyone says the food here is other than great they're lying. Cristina upfront is also great.

Quality food, elite customer service, great chefs. If you want your moneys worth this is the place.

it was a great experience! first time customer here, we were greeted and even got the menu explained to us with pricing and what we could get (combos, dessert etc) got our food quickly and fresh. fries were hot and crispy & my sandwich was incredible i got the #1. The restaurant is very clean, definitely coming back and recommend to anyone who wants to try :)

Dave's Way - sloppy and delicious

Dave is from West Philly and moved to Atlanta and then at some point started a Philly cheesesteak franchise. I'm originally from Philly and have had hundreds or maybe a thousand cheesesteaks and that's not an exaggeration (which is why my cholesterol was through the roof at 25!) Here's what I can say about Dave. This sandwich is delicious. I would never ever turn one down. Is it super sloppy and greasy? Yes! Dave's way with onions, peppers, hot peppers, mushrooms, and cheese is heart clogging great. Does it taste like a Philly cheesesteak? Nope! It does come with an Amoroso roll which was a sign of quality in the 80s. Now, it's waaaay too soft and doesn't hold together well. Oh another fun fact, Dave's has Philly Pretzel Factory (finally in FL!) And those are legit. So should you go? Immediately! Is it authentic? Not a bit!

This was me goofing off taking in the ambiance of the place.

Food was phenomenal and the portions are insane. We are a big family and five of us ate from their largest sandwich. Staff is friendly and food made with love. They all appeared to like what they do, I would definitely go again but will arrive with more of an appetite as I was not prepared for portions.

Overpriced. Slow cooking. $12 for a very small sandwich. It was tasty but not satisfying at all.

Their ice cream tastes truly fantastic. When you're not eating freshly made ice cream on the regular, you can start to forget what that freshness tastes like. Allow Kelly's to remind you! They have flavors that change every month as well as a regular rotation of their classics. I'm a superfan of their Cookie Monster ice cream, which combines my two favorite things: cake batter ice cream and Oreos. My bestie swears by their Banana Pudding flavor. I usually try some of their seasonal flavors too, and honestly none of their flavors disappoint. I once got a PB&J with potato chips flavor, which sounds wild, and it was! But it was so fun and delicious too. This location has some seating inside and out, so it's nice to drop in to on a hot summer night. If you don't have time to eat there, they have take home pints of all the flavors, even seasonal, in the stand-alone freezer so you can grab and go without waiting in line. We have been passing this place for so long and finally decided to order! The service was friendly…read moreand efficient and super flexible when we changed from delivery to pick up. I love supporting small business so we were excited to support an Oviedo business. The reason for my 3 stars is that I just didn't love the pizza. We ordered an 18" Bianca and 18" cheese with toppings. The crust was very tough and honestly didn't have a lot of flavor. I prefer a doughy pizza but since this is brick oven, I understand it has to be thin, but it was burnt in some spots and without a lot of flavor overall. The Bianca was pretty good in terms of cheese and we added spinach but the ricotta was flavorless. I think the ricotta can really make or break a white pizza so adding some spices would go a long way. For the cheese pizza, we did half with 3 toppings and the other half with 3 toppings. The taste was ok, but again, the crust left a lot to be desired. I don't know if it was an off night or maybe this is the norm or maybe I'm just picky. I'm from the northeast so good pizza is a commodity and not easy to come by. I can't say we'll rush back but based on the other reviews, we may come back and try other menu items. We didn't dine in but the location and building itself is cute and feels like a small town family business, which we love! Hoping this was a one off and the other menu items are better!

Decided to finally order from this local legend of a pizza place one Saturday night when I decided…read moreto stay in to watch the soccer game. Being an Oviedoan, you hear nothing but good things about this place, and I was feeling pizza, so it just made sense. Location is super fantastic, just a stone's throw away from my place and historic downtown. Take-out only, so there's only one parking spot on property. Get in, and get out. I love it. Service was amazing. They had my food ready when I got there, and the team were some of the nicest folks I've ever met. As for the pies, we got two 12-inches. First was the Fig and Prosciutto (Organic figs, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto baked on a drilled olive oil crust, finished with arugula served with a side of balsamic (no red sauce)). This was a really good pie. The bitter arugula with the sweet figs with the tang of that balsamic, just really well designed. I was surprised a mom and pop came up with this. Very nice. Then came the Chicken Bacon Ranch (Ranch sauce based, chicken, crumbled bacon and mozzarella cheese (no red sauce)). This one was a lot of fun. Usually chicken on pizza is served in chunks that are too big, but this chicken was diced, so you got chicken and bacon in even amounts in every single bite. It was really cool. Big fan. These 12-inches are also perfect for getting two and splitting them. You'll have one or two slices leftover the next day, which is fine, because these pizzas eat well cold. We also got the Garlic Knots (1/2 dozen garlic knots with a side of marinara sauce). Amazing knots. They go for a lot of little ones, so you get an amazing crispy outside-to-soft inside ratio. Garlic and olive oil everywhere to get some good stuff in every bite. Overall, I had no idea that this kind of quality was literally a mile away from my front door. I never had a local go-to pizza place before this day, but man, I am so glad.

After finishing the tea, I ate the brulee, which matched the creme brulee taste from the restaurants. Service was friendly and there was ample room to sit and enjoy the tea. Smooth jazz music was in the background, making the environment inviting. While you order at the counter, the staff delivers the tea to you. This was a very nice tea place in Oviedo.
