Not the best Philly Cheesesteak. I got the Loaded Cheesesteak and it felt and tasted like school cafeteria food to be honest. The cheese whiz tasted artificial and I wish the steak was crispy and charred a bit. The bun felt like it was just pulled straight from the package. Wish it was at least toasted or buttered or something. The sandwich overall wasn't bad though, it just didn't feel like restaurant quality. The interior decor is fun with the car/construction theme. The service could've been better. The lady taking my order didn't seem very welcoming or thrilled. The cook also looked annoyed when my friends and I walked in (we came in at 2pm). read more

I tried this place out for lunch yesterday (Downtown Location) after many people told me they had great cheesesteaks. I went around 12:30 and it wasn't busy at all. After perusing the menu for a bit the cashier (Nikka) was so great about making suggestions. She made my experience exceptional with her attention and care. Not sure if its always like that but I would come back simply for the interaction with this lovely lady! Now for the food, my fries were so crispy and the cheesesteak was delicious. I didn't eat in the restaurant but there seemed to be plenty of seating if you did want to eat there. My only qualm with the place was the price. I haven't had a cheesesteak in years so I don't know how much they normally cost. I paid $18 for a 6" or 7" sub with fries and sprite. If I'm not paying I will definitely be back lol read more

Quite possibly one of the most disgusting restaurants I have ever been in. Napkins out in dispensers. Restrooms lack soap and basic sanitation. Toilet paper and paper towels nkt put in the rolls just sat on the toilet. The soap has been out for months. That means staff isn't washing their hands. Been working in DT for over two year and finally had a chance to eat here. And sadly wish I didn't take this long to try it! I ordered the Philly cheese steak and it did not disappoint. It was a good size and super tasty. I got a side of whiz tots which is just tats with cheese! The staff were super nice and friendly when placing order and serving the food. I definitely will be coming to this location again! Also little nice touch was they has some TVs around the place so you can have something to watch. Wasn't too loud where you can't talk. Loading Zone Philly Steaks was a lunch option we decided on since it was a coworker last day. We walked over to Loaded Philly. The young lady that took our order was very pleasure and made us laugh. Great customer service. I had the #2 the sm (yes they have two different sandwich sizes) then I had to add the fries and drink. The food was to me kinda overly high but it's downtown Orlando expected that. The Philly was greattttt! Next time I'll add the lettuce and tomato. I had regular fries and my coworkers had sweet potato fries (as seen in my photos). My drink was the sweet tea and it was sweeten to perfection ! Overall I gave this place a 4. Found this delightful location to grab dinner before volunteering and ordered the Mushroom Cheese Steak. They brought the sandwich out quickly and it was hot with lots of meat and flavor. This place is OK. I was at the library and figured that I should visit a sandwich shop in Downtown. I had several places bookmarked but something told me to go for a cheesesteak sub, something I hardly ever eat. So I stopped by Loading Zone and ordered a sub with everything. The sub itself was good, I just didn't like the flavor. It was probably the red peppers or something else, but the flavor was too sweet for me. I love my tuna fish sandwiches made with oil and vinegar for an extra spice of life. I ordered sweet potato fries since I air fry mine at home and it truly was a bad choice. I would say they're downfall of their cheesesteak is their meat you can tell it is very cheap quality beef almost similar to steak-umms (if anyone is wondering what the umms in steak-umms means it means umm we're not really sure what else is inside our processed meat). Their roll was good, but the steak had no flavor even with the onions. I would give them 2 1/2 stars if I could, but I just don't feel they deserve three stars, so I guess we'll have to stick with the two star rating for now. read more

Placed the order on the phone (the employee was very friendly) and picked up to go. The food was ready quick and it was still fresh and enjoyable by the time we got around to eating. I got the smaller size with tots and that was plenty for me, but if you normally like to eat more, maybe opt for the larger option. Maybe I went to the wrong location or the wrong people made mine. Mine didn't look NOTHING like the pics on here. I mean NOTHING. I opened it and knew I didn't even want to taste it. The bread doesn't even look baked like the pics I see. The little meat that's on it, doesn't even look seasoned like the pics I see. I can tell from the way the bread feels, that it's gummy, and gluey like raw, unbaked bread. Nothing I want to eat. It's overly wet and moist. It may appear "meaty" in the last photo but as you can see it AIN'T busting out the seams with meat like the other people's pics. Hell I had to open one side to find the meat. I'm so mad and disgusted, I walked to get it, and walked back to my destination with inedible food. IT IS TOO HOT TO BE TRYING FOLKS LIKE THIS. NOT TO MENTION THE STORE'S A/C WAS BROKEN. The food was so good, I forgot to take a picture lol. I went on a Monday night an hour before closing and the staff were still so nice. The restaurant was clean and the food quality was on point! I ordered a basic philly cheesesteak w/ fries. I enjoyed the sandwich more than the fries -- I will try the tots or sweet potato fries next time. To drink, I originally wanted Fanta orange pop but it was out, so I got root beer. The staff member replaced the Fanta after the fact and encouraged me to still get the Fanta once I was ready. Loading Zone was awesome! The food was fantastic and the staff was so friendly. I had never had a Philly Cheese Steak before and I was so proud to announce to my roommate, who is from Philly, that I had had one and loved it! I got the chipotle cheese steak on the recommendation of the staff. It was so flavorful and the little bit of spice really made the meal. I took home leftovers and they heated up nicely which is always a great bonus. The side that really caught my attention were the whiz tots. Simply put they were tater tots with delicious cheese melted over them. I was in the restaurant for lunch, but I could imagine how much I would love these tots at midnight. 5 Stars for a Philly cheesesteak that blew me away (even the leftovers I ate a day later), lovely staff, a great location downtown, and fries so good they don't even need ketchup. I had a lunch meeting at Loading Zone the other day and went for their classic Philly cheesesteak (they can sub in chicken if you prefer it to beef, but I went beef), while the other people at my table got the fully loaded Philly and the Chipotle steak sandwich. They let me know the Philly comes with cooked onions (yes, plz) and asked if I had a cheese preference (I went with the standard suggested cheese). We also got cheesy tots, fries, and sweet potato waffle fries. The space itself has plenty of seating, and is located right next to Gringos Locos, off of Orange Ave. I imagine it's NUTS on a Saturday night at 2am, but midweek lunch time it's clean and bright inside. The gal who took our order was energetic and friendly- ready to answer our questions and give her opinion on some favorites. As for the food, I loved my Philly. It had thinly shaved steak with white cheese mixed in and the onions added that extra texture and sweetness. Spot on. My lunch mates seemed to enjoy theirs too. As for the fried sides (we went a little overboard when ordering!), my favorite was the sweet potato waffle fries, with the regular fries coming in a close second. The fries were really well seasoned, to the point where I stopped dipping them in ketchup because they tasted so good on their own. Worth the clogged arteries! Haha I ended up taking half of my sandwich home and reheating the meat (in toast) the next day. It was a full second meal! Overall, I dig it! We are obsessed! This Philly shop is nearly 40 mins away, and we still make it an option. The Philly are GIANT (even the small one that I get), made to order, and sooooo very good! The ingredients are fresh, and the menu is very easy to understand. I haven't eaten much because once I like something, I stick with it, but I do change up my toppings and I 100% prefer my Philly with cheez whiz. The location is not busy when we go (between 6-8pm), but I'm sure once the club crowd gets out, it's swamped. Go try it! read more

Yes, alllll the cheesesteaks please. Located in the space that used to be Beth's Burger bar, this is a great addition to the downtown Orlando food scene. Was so happy to find a good cheesesteak! Side items include tater tots or fries. Love that I can get a mushroom cheesesteak with provolone or whiz (if you're to whiz). This is like a "hangry need to be filled up" kinda place. Definitely come here hungry. It's fast casual where you order and pay at the front then get a number and go find a seat. Got the smaller size sandwich but next time I might upgrade the size and skip the side items. The tots were good but wish they had a side of like Cajun spice or old bay seasoning on the counter to kick up the flavor of the tots and fries (hint!). My girlfriend and I got the Pizzaroni Cheese Steak and Fully Loaded Cheese Steak with Tater Tots. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. Of course, we had to get the fully loaded, which came with cheese, mushrooms, and onions. The Pizzaroni was an interesting twist, which had cheese, marinara sauce, and pepperoni. Both were pretty stuffed with meat and very tasty. I couldn't decide which one I liked better though. The tots were crispy, but not the stars of the show. That said... this place is pretty darn good. They obviously use a quality cut meat and have the white American cheese to meat ratio down! Rolls are key and they were perfect. I got the large Chipotle Cheesesteak and some tots for lunch. I was very impressed that they used Cheese Whiz and American cheese. My friends from Philly say that's the only way it should be served. The bread left something to be desired but the sandwich was decent. The tots were nice and crispy, but a little overpriced in my opinion.
