Solid baos with Asian fusion and other global takes in the beloved baos that are often traditionally eaten with duck. We tried the Hogzilla, Glen Rhee, Firecracker Shrimp, and Cuban - we did a 3 bao combo for $15 and an à la carte bao for $5.50. The combo is a no brainer if you want a satisfying meal for 1 or a snack for 2, since it comes with a fountain drink while the baos are discounted 50 cents each. As we were a party of 2 , we went with 4 baos so 2 baos per person and it was a nice snack. The hogzilla is the pork belly which is decent - a bit on the saltier side but all the ingredients meshed well. The Glen Rhee is Korean beef which was a bit dry. Despite glowing reviews, I was a bit disappointed Firecracker shrimp was amazing. 4 pieces in the bao so definitely overflowing with shrimp, and the sauce that comes with it is filling and satisfying Cuban is their seasonal and has pork and chicharron. I was hoping there was a crunch from the chicharron but at least there was ample flavor - a reinvention of the Cuban sandwich This place is fast casual so you mostly seat yourself and bus your own table, fill your water, and grab your utensils and napkins. We were in and out within 30 minutes

The protein portions on these buns is very generous! The Bao fell apart towards the end trying to hold it all in. The pork belly in the Hogzilla was juicy and tasty. The beef in the Glen Rhee a little dry, but still tasty. I'd try a different Bao next time. The tots are crispy and tossed in a truffle sauce with cheese and chives. I parked in the lot behind the building, not sure if I should have, but it worked out for a quick pickup order. The vibe is casual, not a place you'd necessarily plan for a date night, and had limited seating.

Everything we tried was delicious. It wasn't too busy when we came in, so there was plenty of seating. I really enjoyed all the napkin art displayed on the napkin dispensers. There's also lots of colorful art on the walls. Our food was ready pretty quickly. My favorite things I tried were the avocado bao and the spicy chicken bao. Also the prices are super reasonable! $11 for two bao and a drink is pretty good!

10/10 location highly recommend it definitely is the easiest and access to Baos you will have and you won't be disappointed. The vibe is cool for a casual outing, or a group setting. Food comes out quick and tastes amazing, sometimes I when I get the hot chicken it comes a little dry. But I highly recommend here!

This place offers a surprising and refreshing assortment of fusion pan-Asian Bao. I had the HoiSin rib bao. It is very much a 'McRib' formed patty- formed in the shape of ribs, tucked in a bao. It was good but I'd have preferred a piece of barbecued rib more than 'patty'. Nevertheless the taste was very good. I just don't prefer mystery meat. I also had the hot chicken bao. That one was really good! The chicken was moist and tender and the guo chu Jiang sauce was on point with it. The best part of King Bao was the staff. Dude was fun to talk to, passionate about the bao he made - and about the cool fun sad scremo rock soundtrack he was bumpin' with the bao-making. Cool guy.

Always a good meal when stopping by King Bao. Some of the best Bao's around. Anytime I'm in the area, I do my best to stop by King Bao. Served hot, each Bao comes loaded. I wish there was a location in Jacksonville.

I haven't had King Bao since 2019 and it was just as good as I remembered! I ordered three bao including chicken, shrimp and avocado. I also ordered a side of the street corn tots. The food was fresh, delicious and the prices are still really cheap. It's a little over $5 per bao.

It's been 8 or 9 years since I've been here. This is a place I would grab lunch only. Super casual. It was just has good as I remembered. Got 4 buns, only ate two and shared the rest. The lobster bao was amazing! I love the fried bun. Highly rrecommend. Was greeted when I got in and the staff were very helpful.

Food: the food is awesome. It comes out fresh and crispy. I usually get the 2 Bao combo that comes with a drink. The tots are cooked to perfection. I like the location because I can get a tea next door. Service: it went from a person cashier to a tablet. You don't get much interaction with them. Our food came out quick but it was in between lunch and dinner time. Ambiance: cute place but it can be crowded during peak times.

I was in town on business and craved some Asian food. Found this little gem and it was amazing. The Lobster Bao blew me away, I'm from the North East and it was better than most Lobster Rolls up there. Check this place out, they have a nice menu and mayn't options a great prices.

Came for a quick dinner because we love coming here! I got the hot honey and the curry baos. It's easy ordering on the computer and I like that they have pictures. There's lot of options to try something new every time!

If you are looking for a fast and delicious food, this is the place to check out. We ordered pretty much all the bao flavors and everything taste. Fresh, non-greasy and cost effective meal. We will be back hoping will be lucky to get a good parking spot. That will be only drawback on this place.

3 bao combo - soft shell crab, chicken curry and elote baos
    Kelsey H.

My friends and I went to King Bao for dinner and had an interesting experience, one that was a first for me here. There was a visible burnt oil smell in the air which ended up sticking to all our clothes and hair even after we left the smell stayed with us. Additionally, the smell and air was so strong that it was affecting our eyes. We had to leave immediately after eating because our eyes were starting to burn. Despite the atmosphere, the food was the highlight. I ordered the 3 bao combo which included an Elote bao, soft shell crab bao and a chicken curry bao. The buns were perfectly fluffy, and all the fillings were flavorful and well balanced. The service was average.

Are the bao buns gluten free?

I don't believe so since most bao is made with flour, though you may want to call the restaurant to confirm and see if they have gluten-free versions!

    Are the tots vegan?

Yes just make sure you get them plain

    Is there msg?

Probably, but remember it's not bad for you ;)

    Gluten free menu?

I have gone with a friend who is gluten free and she orders the tots with no problem.

My friends and I dined in on Saturday night and showed up at 7PM to a two hour wait. Unfortunate, but so worth it. We headed upstairs to the neighborhood bar and got an appetizer and a drink while we waited. We only ended up having to wait maybe an hour and a half for our table at Domu. The service was insanely quick and immediately after ordering our first appetizer came within five minutes. They really know what they're doing here. Whoever was on the aux this evening, 10 out of 10. The music was amazing and the vibes of the restaurant were immaculate. We ordered the cheezus, their signature wings, and the patatas bravas. I understand why they are the best way in Orlando! They were crispy and sweet and flavorful. The potatoes were delicious and the sauce that came with it paired perfectly. I believe it was topped with a crispy quinoa, which was a really nice touch. I can't really do cheese so I didn't try the cheezus, but my friends loved it and said it was delicious. Our server gave me a rundown of his favorite chicken ramens and I ended up choosing the yuzu shoyu ramen. It was nice and full of citrus. I love the eggs that come with the ramen, and he very kindly brought out another egg for me as well as a brûlée egg. I've never tried a Brulé egg in my life and it was so interesting and delicious! Basically a crème brûlée egg!! 10s across the board. I can't wait to come back for more.

My bartender recognized me quickly, and welcomed me. After telling him about my injury, I decided to enjoy the smoked old fashioned. It was the perfect drink for me as it gave the right amount of buzz while having the smokey flavor. Plus, my bartender was so nice to give me an extra shot of what looked like to be burboun. It was so strong that I went to happyland afterwards. For my entree, I decided to try something new and went with the lobster roll. I was so happy that I did. Even though it was a small roll, it had ample amount of sweet and succulent lobster in a warm buttery bun. I savored every bite as it was as good as a high quality seafood restaurant. I was very surprised and impressed. For dessert, they had my favorite flavor of ice cream (ube), so I couldn't skip it. It had the right flavor and just perfect sweetness for me. It was the best meal at a restaurant that I had for a while. The service was amazing and the vibe was perfect. I sat at the bar with other great people. I am so sorry that I forgot my bartender's name, but he is so awesome. It's the gentleman with the earrings. Really, all of the bartenders are great, but he is always the one who makes my day very special! When it was time to pay, I was stunned that I was only charged for the lobster roll, and everything else was comped for me. Let's just say I gave a bit more extra for tip. I love Domu so much, and now I have another great entree to love. I wish they participated in magical dining, but still the prices are great for the quality you get. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Food) Atmosphere - Seito Sushi Sand Lake is a beautiful restaurant. My first impression was great, as the modern décor and dark lighting gave it a very nice date night feeling. There is a long sushi bar with chill lighting and sushi chefs. There are square booths perfect for groups. And large, round orbital lights hang from the ceiling. This is a cool place. 1 Star. Service - While my first impression started great, it changed when I asked out server what I should order (I'm here as a tourist). He said their traditional items were great, and when I asked what they had that was traditional, he said the California roll. Uhh.... No Stars. Food - The sushi is very good, but you're in a resort area so it's very expensive. Dishes that were great and memorable: Beef carpaccio - the soft, tender beef was the highlight, but the real gem of this dish was the fried wonton chip that added great crunch and a little salt. The scallion tuna nigiri from the tuna tower (order this for your IG feed). And finally, the Hamachi crudo was a texture playground (Soft, crunchy, tangy, salty). My only other reservation was that it was very expensive. Then again, you get what you pay for. 1 Star. Will I Return? - No. I'm sorry, I can't return to a restaurant when my server's idea of traditional sushi is a California roll. Honestly, Seito Sushi is a very cool restaurant with a great menu. Just remember you're in a resort area so it can get pricey. No Stars.
