Solid baos with Asian fusion and other global takes in the beloved baos that are often traditionally eaten with duck. We tried the Hogzilla, Glen Rhee, Firecracker Shrimp, and Cuban - we did a 3 bao combo for $15 and an à la carte bao for $5.50. The combo is a no brainer if you want a satisfying meal for 1 or a snack for 2, since it comes with a fountain drink while the baos are discounted 50 cents each. As we were a party of 2 , we went with 4 baos so 2 baos per person and it was a nice snack. The hogzilla is the pork belly which is decent - a bit on the saltier side but all the ingredients meshed well. The Glen Rhee is Korean beef which was a bit dry. Despite glowing reviews, I was a bit disappointed Firecracker shrimp was amazing. 4 pieces in the bao so definitely overflowing with shrimp, and the sauce that comes with it is filling and satisfying Cuban is their seasonal and has pork and chicharron. I was hoping there was a crunch from the chicharron but at least there was ample flavor - a reinvention of the Cuban sandwich This place is fast casual so you mostly seat yourself and bus your own table, fill your water, and grab your utensils and napkins. We were in and out within 30 minutes

The protein portions on these buns is very generous! The Bao fell apart towards the end trying to hold it all in. The pork belly in the Hogzilla was juicy and tasty. The beef in the Glen Rhee a little dry, but still tasty. I'd try a different Bao next time. The tots are crispy and tossed in a truffle sauce with cheese and chives. I parked in the lot behind the building, not sure if I should have, but it worked out for a quick pickup order. The vibe is casual, not a place you'd necessarily plan for a date night, and had limited seating.

Everything we tried was delicious. It wasn't too busy when we came in, so there was plenty of seating. I really enjoyed all the napkin art displayed on the napkin dispensers. There's also lots of colorful art on the walls. Our food was ready pretty quickly. My favorite things I tried were the avocado bao and the spicy chicken bao. Also the prices are super reasonable! $11 for two bao and a drink is pretty good!

10/10 location highly recommend it definitely is the easiest and access to Baos you will have and you won't be disappointed. The vibe is cool for a casual outing, or a group setting. Food comes out quick and tastes amazing, sometimes I when I get the hot chicken it comes a little dry. But I highly recommend here!

This place offers a surprising and refreshing assortment of fusion pan-Asian Bao. I had the HoiSin rib bao. It is very much a 'McRib' formed patty- formed in the shape of ribs, tucked in a bao. It was good but I'd have preferred a piece of barbecued rib more than 'patty'. Nevertheless the taste was very good. I just don't prefer mystery meat. I also had the hot chicken bao. That one was really good! The chicken was moist and tender and the guo chu Jiang sauce was on point with it. The best part of King Bao was the staff. Dude was fun to talk to, passionate about the bao he made - and about the cool fun sad scremo rock soundtrack he was bumpin' with the bao-making. Cool guy.

Always a good meal when stopping by King Bao. Some of the best Bao's around. Anytime I'm in the area, I do my best to stop by King Bao. Served hot, each Bao comes loaded. I wish there was a location in Jacksonville.

I haven't had King Bao since 2019 and it was just as good as I remembered! I ordered three bao including chicken, shrimp and avocado. I also ordered a side of the street corn tots. The food was fresh, delicious and the prices are still really cheap. It's a little over $5 per bao.

It's been 8 or 9 years since I've been here. This is a place I would grab lunch only. Super casual. It was just has good as I remembered. Got 4 buns, only ate two and shared the rest. The lobster bao was amazing! I love the fried bun. Highly rrecommend. Was greeted when I got in and the staff were very helpful.

Food: the food is awesome. It comes out fresh and crispy. I usually get the 2 Bao combo that comes with a drink. The tots are cooked to perfection. I like the location because I can get a tea next door. Service: it went from a person cashier to a tablet. You don't get much interaction with them. Our food came out quick but it was in between lunch and dinner time. Ambiance: cute place but it can be crowded during peak times.

I was in town on business and craved some Asian food. Found this little gem and it was amazing. The Lobster Bao blew me away, I'm from the North East and it was better than most Lobster Rolls up there. Check this place out, they have a nice menu and mayn't options a great prices.

Came for a quick dinner because we love coming here! I got the hot honey and the curry baos. It's easy ordering on the computer and I like that they have pictures. There's lot of options to try something new every time!

If you are looking for a fast and delicious food, this is the place to check out. We ordered pretty much all the bao flavors and everything taste. Fresh, non-greasy and cost effective meal. We will be back hoping will be lucky to get a good parking spot. That will be only drawback on this place.

3 bao combo - soft shell crab, chicken curry and elote baos

My friends and I went to King Bao for dinner and had an interesting experience, one that was a first for me here. There was a visible burnt oil smell in the air which ended up sticking to all our clothes and hair even after we left the smell stayed with us. Additionally, the smell and air was so strong that it was affecting our eyes. We had to leave immediately after eating because our eyes were starting to burn. Despite the atmosphere, the food was the highlight. I ordered the 3 bao combo which included an Elote bao, soft shell crab bao and a chicken curry bao. The buns were perfectly fluffy, and all the fillings were flavorful and well balanced. The service was average.

Are the bao buns gluten free?

I don't believe so since most bao is made with flour, though you may want to call the restaurant to confirm and see if they have gluten-free versions!

    Are the tots vegan?

Yes just make sure you get them plain

    Is there msg?

Probably, but remember it's not bad for you ;)

    Gluten free menu?

I have gone with a friend who is gluten free and she orders the tots with no problem.

The tacos are packed with flavor, the portions are solid, and everything tastes fresh and made to order. The Korean beef taco and butter chicken taco were probably my favorites, but honestly even the sides and sauces stood out. The atmosphere has a cool laid back Orlando vibe and it's one of those places that feels unique compared to the usual taco spots around town. Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the prices felt fair considering how much food you get. It's also a great late-night option when most places around the area are already slowing down. Definitely one of the more underrated spots in Orlando if you want something different from traditional tacos. Perfect place to bring friends because there's enough variety on the menu for everyone to find something they like.

Unfortunately, though, our experience was less than pleasant. The guy working was nice and friendly, which I appreciated. However, about a third of the menu was unavailable. He explained that they were in the process of changing the menu, but it was still disappointing since several of the unavailable items were actually the reason we decided to stop in. We ended up ordering a Philly cheesesteak, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and a plain burger. The food was perfectly okay -- nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing that stood out either. Unfortunately, there were several other little issues that added up. The soda machine seemed to be off, and the Coke tasted very strange. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner, with crumbs and other debris in the booths. The food came in little baskets without silverware, which is understandable given the type of food, but every napkin dispenser we checked was empty, so there wasn't even a convenient way to wipe your hands. The bathrooms also had no soap or paper towels, which was especially disappointing. Overall, the food was edible and the employee was friendly, but the combination of the limited menu, cleanliness issues, empty napkin dispensers, and lack of bathroom supplies made this a pretty inconvenient and unpleasant experience. Hopefully some of these things were simply due to them being in the middle of a menu transition, but based on our visit, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

It was super packed when we came in for dinner on a Friday night, but the bar area had all open seating so we sat there. We started off with our cocktails and some spam musubi. The regular spam musubi is delicious, but the fried spam musubi is out of this world! The Hō'āhi Rita was deliciously spicy and perfect for my fiancé's taste. The Koa & Kane was a very spirit forward rum drink that was right up my alley! I honestly would try every cocktail if I could. Another beverage I got was the POG juice with vodka added for $12. It was dangerously good. My fiancé and I both order a Mix Plate with varying options (pick 2 proteins and 2 sides). Collectively, we tried the kalua pork, shoyu chicken, shoyu ahi, and spicy ahi proteins with mac salad and spam fried rice. The spam fried rice and the shoyu chicken was our fav combo! The chicken was so soft and deliciously marinated. The ahi tuna tasted like any other ahi tuna you would get at any nearby poke spot, but the chicken and pork were out fantastic! I would have the kalua pork in their sandwich next time instead of as a protein in their mix plate. I absolutely do want to come back here!
