The first time I tried Red Panda Noodles was years ago at a food truck event in College Park and I loved every bite of the noodles I got. Now that they have a spot in Ala Cart, I get to have them all the time when I'm in the office. It's a perfect spot downtown with plenty of outdoor seating. You order and they give you a buzzer to pick up your food. Now the food is on point. The noodles are delicious no matter which one you get. My personal favorite is the curry katsu and once you are done there is curry left over that I love to put over rice. I've been chasing the Red Panda Noodle for years. When this place first opened, it was the talk of the town, and it's been solid in quality ever since. I guess I just don't get out and about to the right places, but I was at the right place at the right time this time. They were at the Florida Fringe Festival parked right on the lawn. It was finally my time. The initial encounter was a little bit of a downer. I ordered the Biang Biang noodles, and they took my money, but then a few minutes later, it was oops, we're out. I was slightly distraught, but luckily, they had another banger on their menu. So I ordered the Spicy Chicken Katsu (Crispy fried chicken takes a dip in yellow curry udon. Bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots--like a bento box went to Burning Man). And we also ordered the Skewers (Sticky, garlicky, ranchy mystery on a stick. We're not explaining it. Just eat it). The skewers were omg delicious. Covered with two different sauces, sitting in another sauce, all the flavors blended seamlessly into a sweet, spicy, herbaceous, wonderful bite. The description didn't say what kind of meat it was, I didn't ask, but it was crispy and juicy and also good. Just a solid skewer. Then it was time for the main event. That Katsu. A good sized cutlet, very crispy, perfect thickness, very moist chicken. The curly udon noodles were well-cooked. A nice bounce, a nice chew. Coated in the hot curry sauce. This curry was definitely hotter than average, so be forewarned. But it's not stupid hot. It's a very pleasant burn, and delicious. Get this dish. Overall, I was blessed by the food truck gods when I stumbled upon the Red Panda. Great food, definitely two standard deviations above most food truck food out there. read more

Pros: This is a food truck, so it is always on the move. Gotta know where it is, and I'm very glad they wanted to come to the Florida Fringe Festival this year. Service was nice enough. Food was definitely above average for food truck food. Certainly didn't taste like it all came from a Sam's Club, like on TV. Cons: They ran out of a certain type of noodle that we wanted. Visited the new truck location, in downtown. Cool location with plenty of seating. Perfect to sit and eat outside on a nice day. I tried to order ahead but I couldn't find a working link to do so. The truck staff was nice and my food did not take long. I ordered the Bourbon noodles. Don't think I will order again. It wasn't horrible but it was definitely on the salty side. Always love when I catch Red Panda Noodle popping up around town. This is one of my favorite food trucks in Orlando, created by the folks behind Orlando Meats (RIP). Their fresh, hand-pulled noodle dishes are all so unique and creative and they give you very generous portions. You can usually find them at Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District, Orlando Parking Lot Party, the Thornton Park Night Market, at Redlight Redlight in Audubon, at Milkmart, and various other markets and festivals in Orlando. I love their wavy udon noodles and some of my favorite dishes are the spicy chicken kastu made with yellow curry and the garlic noodles. They also have great vegetarian options like the goomba (mushrooms) and the biang biang noodles. They almost always have a line, but it's worth the wait! Okay so these hand pulled noodles are super fresh and chewy! We ordered the Biang Biang vegan noodles with bok choy, chili and scallions for $15. Even though the dish seemed rather small, it was super filling. I loved the noodles but I felt it had a little too much oil and spice. It's funny that I'm saying something had too much spice, because I'm the girl that puts way to much spicy sauce on things. I almost wished there was more bok choy to make it feel a bit healthier. This is literally my favorite food truck and now to have a permanent spot that I can always go and get my fav noodles is like a dream come true! I tried something new on this adventure and it did not disappoint! They didn't have the noodles that normal go with the Biang Biang but it was still delicious and spicy! They also had vegan dumplings which had caught my attention on instagram and prompted me to make this trip out. What a great food truck find! We are really into noodles so was intrigued to try this place. Prices are steep but on par for typical food truck dishes. Ordered 2 different noodle dishes, important to mention didn't add meat cause it was extra for the proteins! Goomba was garlicky and mushroomy but a bit too salty for my taste. The udon was interesting. But I ended up using the left over sauce on rice at home. The Biang Biang was definitely flavorful but again a bit too spicy. The bok choy was a nice refreshing add. Food was prepared quickly and the servers were friendly. Food truck was nice and only true issue was the internet was a bit spotty so the payment took a little bit longer. I love that they switch up their menu and have new fun items often. My negative is that there are no real gluten free options .... i wish they had some rice or rice noodles (please!!!). We ordered the Biang Biang noodles and the Goomba noodles. Both were amazing! I loved the texture and flavor of the hand pulled noodles in the Biang Biang. The flavor was enjoyable but noodles were very greasy. Chicken was good. I added extra spice (house made chili crisp) and it wasn't too hot. The flavor of the chili crisp was okay. Cumin beef had a bit more interesting flavor combination in my opinion. Cumin definitely added more fun to the dish. Again, noodles - greasy. The beef was soft and cooked nicely but they could add more meat. Was happy to see cilantro, added freshness. Cumin beef comes with chili crisp. To conclude, it was not more than okay to me. Maybe I have to try some other things on the menu but what I've ordered was just alright. Definitely not a fan of such greasy noodles. read more

I have been wanting to try this pop up for a while! I recently got to do so at one of the Orlando Parking Lot parties at Rockpit. The people working here are really friendly and seem passionate about their food. I chose to try the garlic noodles which come with chicken. Their noodles are hand pulled and meals made fresh to order (fun watching them work their wok magic!). You can definitely taste and feel the difference in the hand pulled noodles. They have such a pleasing texture and flavor! I loved my meal and enjoyed the mixture of ingredients and garlicky goodness of the sauce. It reminded me of hand pulled noodles I tried in NYC when I visited which I also loved. The portion seemed a bit small looking at it and I'd maybe have liked a bit more chicken, but it was honestly a perfect amount and very filling for me. I'm just a glutton for noodles and was loving my food! You know it's good when you're a little sad taking your last bite. Tried Red Panda Noodle at the Orlando beer festival and it was delicious! Me and my two sisters all tried a different style of their noodles, I tried the goomba and it was incredible! My older son and I were highly excited to try this food truck at the Parking Lot Party in Winter Park event. We decided to share meals since I didn't come that hungry. He ordered the Biang Biang Spicy noodles and I got the pork skewer. The noodle type he picked were really not my first choice but Im not saying they were bad either. They were surely packed with a sweet spicy flavor and were extremely filling to me. One bite/noodle was all I needed honestly.. I wanted to try the bourbon noodle but I guess next time because I couldn't resist the pork skewer. The previous pics just look so mouth watering and it is truthfully so. The Biang Biang is every spicy food lover's dream! It was loaded with delicious chili oil and Szechuan peppers, and I was surprised to find out the dish was made of just one super long noodle strand. The noodle was thick, chewy, and delicious, and they're made from scratch. The bok choy pieces were nicely charred and soaked up the delicious sauce.
