For a fast-casual place, CHIBI Ramen is definitely a solid choice for ramen on the east side of Orlando, Florida. CHIBI Ramen is located in Waterford Lakes so parking will not be an issue. I ordered their signature boneless wing bites, Egg Salad Sando to eat in the restaurant and Coconut Curry Ramen to go. The staff is super friendly and will help you with suggestions. The food was served in a short time. I enjoyed the lightness of the egg salad sando on milk bread. It was a little sweet from the bread, but a great blend with the creamy egg salad. My friend Matt and I decided to stop here for lunch. I got the kids Ramen bowl for 799, and a side of rice for three dollars. I also got a soda for three dollars. I ended up spending a total of $15.00 for my meal. This was some of the best Ramen I've had. The noodles were perfect and the broth taste like chicken noodle soup but without all the extra items that you normally get in chicken noodle soup. The rice was also really yummy and very hot. I didn't realize that this Domu was meant to be more of a quick casual version compared to their other restaurants. However, I love the setup and idea. Using a touchscreen self-kiosk, you can go through the menu and place your order. My group went with the classic Tonkotsu Ramen, Japanese curry Ramen, Domu wing bites, and a new side that was promoted, Tamagoyaki. With a group of three, I quickly realized this was not a great setup for groups to sit indoors. Most of the tables are set up for 1 or 2 people to eat together and converse. We ended up borrowing a chair from another two-top and made the best of it. Since we were sitting against the back wall, it seems like they tiled it at an angle so they do have a bar preventing you from accidentally tripping. It just seemed odd since I almost tripped getting in and out of my high-top chair. Our food came out quickly. We all upgraded the Ramen egg to the brûlée egg, which I feel really brings the dish together. For the Tamagoyaki, I ordered the furikake but received the togarashi topping--although delicious. You can order a soup for take out and wait 20mins at least for it every single time.
