Egg Salad and Boneless Wing Bites
    Valarie E.

I was on the East Side of Town and decided to eat at Chibi. Chibi is located on the East Side near Waterford Lakes. They have a touch screen ordering system. I ordered their signature boneless wing bites, Egg Salad Sando to eat in the restaurant and Coconut Curry Ramen to go. The staff is super friendly and will help you with suggestions. The food was served in a short time. I enjoyed the lightness of the egg salad sando on milk bread. It was a little sweet from the bread, but a great blend with the creamy egg salad. The signature boneless wing bites are easy to eat and so flavorful. I hope you are able to stop by and check out yet another Domu Restaurant. This is part of Sonny Nguyen's Domu Dynasty. Delicious! Enjoy the Picture!

My friend Matt and I decided to stop here for lunch. I got the kids Ramen bowl for 799, and a side of rice for three dollars. I also got a soda for three dollars. I ended up spending a total of $15.00 for my meal. This was some of the best Ramen I've had. The noodles were perfect and the broth taste like chicken noodle soup but without all the extra items that you normally get in chicken noodle soup. The rice was also really yummy and very hot. Both of my food items were warm and they were not cold. No one really assisted us except the lady that got us are to go boxes. They have a little counters where you put in your order and then sit down and your order is brought to you. Ambience of Chibi Ramen- is a nice calming Ramen restaurant. It is located right next to tin & taco and bento box. It is located in the Waterford Lakes area. 10/10

This place is great! Very clean and has a chill atmosphere. They have several ramens to choose from. I do wish they had more drink options, I think that'd elevate their menu. Overall, great food and had a great experience here. I'll definitely be returning!

Back of restaurant but it's still nice, they have some anime art on the wall! Super relaxing not hectic or too much.

Food was just amazing i loved every bite and minute of what i had, the service was really great the food came out quick and they made sure we were taken care of. The restaurant just had great chemistry you could tell they all got along and it was a real tranquil atmosphere. 10/10 you should try it! Parking wasn't bad either it's in waterford lakes so there's parking everywhere!

We tried a second time and decided to do to go. They were quite busy with not many places to sit. The staff was quite friendly and definitely gave really good suggestions. We tried the classic chicken and a creamy chicken Ramen.

You know when you just need a few bites of something delicious and comforting, this, CHIBI Ramen is the perfect spot. We ordered Pork & Chicken Gyoza,$8.50, pan-seared chicken & pork gyozas severed with a tangy soy dipping sauce topped with sesame seeds and scallions. They are a delight. The filling is plentiful, moist and flavorful. We also ordered Kaiju Fries, $8.00, fries topped with mentaiko mayo & chibi house furikake which has sesame seeds. They are served with a wedge of lemon which we didn't understand why, but we squirted a little on them & I get it. The lemon gives it a tangy freshness. Salt, Fat & Acid is a winning combo. The only thing, is that the fries were not hot. We ordered 2 fountain Cokes, free refills. This place is small but it has six high top tables and a long table facing the window. You can eat in or order to take out. The service is efficient.

What is not to like!? This little area is like a mini quick-food restaurant row, first of all it's a very good spot with shopping, food, movies etc all in one close knit area so you can come here and do it all. The ambiance is cute and casual. I love ordering on kiosks like this because you can take your time reading what's in everything before you make a decision and I appreciate that everything can be modified because I can't have sesame seeds for example and that's always something I have to ask at the counter, but they have the button for it! I got the Chicken Teriyaki Ramen and I loved it, they also provided lemons and I squeezed those in which added a little something extra! The Chicken Bites are super yummy, very small though, I would lean more towards calling these popcorn chicken rather than bites or boneless wings because they're so little. The sauce however - VERY good! I thought there was a bit of heat to the sauce but my fiancé didn't think so, so maybe that's just me. The gyoza is chicken & pork mixed, pan fried, and so good that he got seconds! Overall 5/5 - friendly, fast, delicious, cute!

I like that we can place our order on the screen ourselves (great for introverts) and it looks great, however seating is pretty limited if you're there during dinner rush. Our food took about 10 minutes to be ready and it looked beautiful. The curry ramen was delicious and the broth had the perfect amount of heat without being overwhelming. The shoyu broth was also very good, but I preferred the curry. The wing bites weren't my favorite, but were a good addition since the chicken portions in the ramen are smaller than expected.

Great food and quick service! If you love the dine-in locations this is the same with a smaller menu and to-go option. You can definitely still dine-in but I would love to give props on how they packed my to-go order. I felt the packing maintained the quality of the food a lot better than other places. They are also cashless, you order on a iPad and wait for your food, although the staff was still very present, sweet and helpful. Overall I felt this location in its entirety was very efficient and the food did not disappoint!

SIGNATURE BONELESS WING BITES RICE BOWL

I'm not in the Waterford Lakes area very often, but when I am, CHIBI is a must! I love that I can get all my favorite flavors from DOMU in a sleek, fast-casual setting. When you walk in, you order from the self-serve kiosk which is quick and easy, and then they bring out all your food on a tray. If you're a fan of DOMU's wings, then you have to try CHIBI's signature boneless wing bites coated in the that delicious kimchi butter sauce that we all know and love. If you want the best of both worlds, my husband always gets the wing bites rice bowl which comes with a seasoned soft boiled egg. My other top picks are the Kaiju Fries and the Coconut Curry Ramen. We tried a new menu item this time around -- the Crispy Kimcheezy Onigiri. The flavor honestly wasn't my favorite, but it was fun to try something new. Onigiri seems to be a huge trend in Orlando right now. They also have some new Japanese beverages on the menu. We got the Tomomasu Peach Soda and the Calpico Mango which were both refreshing and delicious!

    Spicy Miso Vegan Ramen ($12)
    Rachel S.

I am a big fan of Domu ramen and was looking forward to trying their sister restaurant, Chibi ramen. My family went for lunch, and there was plenty of seating available. You order on a tablet when you enter, and the menu was straightforward with vegan options labeled. I tried their spicy miso ramen which was not too spicy but still quite flavorful. My mother tried the katsu pork ramen and liked the meat and toppings. My father got the teriyaki chicken salad and found it too salty. Everyone's ramen noodles were al dente which was okay for me but a bit too undercooked for my mother. My sister and I enjoyed the miso ramen we got, and my parents are hard to please, so take it with a grain of salt. For the affordable cost though of about $13 per bowl, I think the quality and taste makes sense. Overall mixed feelings but service and atmosphere were excellent!

Tonkotsu Ramen Bowl, Signature Boneless Wing Bites, and Kaiju Fries
    Wilson Rae C.

Didn't really know what to expect from this place coming honestly. But it's not bad. Coming in, the place was very clean and quiet. They had the kiosk tablets to use for ordering food, which I love since I'm an introvert. Service was still attendant. I overheard the staff assisting one of the customers. Providing them details of the menu and what certain things were. Food though, was alright. Ramen was kind of average. Good, but not great. The signature boneless wing bites were basically scraps of popcorn chicken tossed in orange chicken sauce. The fries were fire though. Very crispy and seasoned. The mentaiko mayo on top of it, does give it that extra kick in taste too. Overall not bad.

Not a bad ramen shop for quick eats. The service was fast and the store was a little smaller but they do have outdoor eating.

Ask the Community - CHIBI Ramen

Is this the same company as the DOMU on East end market?

Owned by the same owners but different concept. It's counter self service ramen shop.

Coming in February from New Hampshire, I can't wait to try it out! What's the best day and time to not get caught in the long lines?

I'm going out on a limb here but might be better to find the other location first.

Perfect chewy texture, what Taiwanese would call "QQ" I realized after my second visit that I still have not tried an udon with hot broth. I've tried the Spicy Miso Tan-Tan Udon, which was quite tasty, although a little on the richer/heavier side. I have also tried the Mentaiko Tsukimi Udon which was refreshing in the cold broth. I paired it with an add-on of sliced beef, which was delicious, they serve it on the side so you can add to whatever dish on your own. What I wouldn't recommend... The Viet Coffee with sesame foam and crushed sesame seeds was hard to drink. I loved the initial flavors but the foam got a little greasy and clumpy when mixed with the crushed sesame seeds, particularly toward the second half of the coffee. I wouldn't order it again. It was about 15 minute wait to ID check, and then it is an open seating format with booths being in super high demand (we didn't bother - we saw multiple parties just asking people who are almost done to claim one booth at a time - wouldn't be the vibe to feel rushed and looked at constantly the duration of our visit) - so we just grabbed some seats at the bar which is a lot more relaxing and I can see the bartenders do their craft. There was ample space for the 3 of us and the drinks come out decently fast despite being so slammed. We tried a variety of cocktails - Under the Sun - very fragrant ube - if you love ube, definitely recommend - Coconut Shinobi - mostly very strong, but not super impressed as it's basically a pineapple tiki drink - Golden Hour - quite unique - apparent sesame flavor but very easy to drink - Ichigo Ichie - feels more like a gin and tonic but with a slight spicy kick - São Paulo - apparent pandan flavor and well balanced We also got crab fried rice which is fantastic - a bit on the salty side but super umami Service is good even without factoring in how slammed the bar was. I appreciated the timeliness and dedication to filling water and checking up on us at times during our 2 hr stay. This is a fantastic cocktail bar that has both amazing Asian fusion cocktails and food. I'd recommend going earlier than later since the line can be quite long. My friend showed up later around 9:30pm and had to wait 30 minutes as the seating is completely full and they cannot accommodate skipping the line if another group has open seats for them. When we left at 10:30, the line was much longer than when my friend arrived so it could look like a 1+ hour queue just to get in.

We ordered quite a bit, including chicken meatballs, garlic fried rice, avocado, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, Korean fried chicken and the Wagyu dumplings. The standouts were the mushrooms and the brussel sprouts both of which were very savory and the brussel sprouts also had a little bit of sweetness. Overall, the food is good, but for a Michelin restaurant, I was pretty disappointed. I don't think it lives up to the hype. The food is just okay and personally, I think there's better tapas in Orlando, such as Bulla.
