Many years ago I use to order from La China and I loved it but it's been a long time since then. So I figured I'd give them a try and I'm glad I did. When you walk in it's your typical set up with a counter and a few tables to dine in. Food was ready pretty fast and when I got home it still was still hot. We ordered the Mongolian Beef, House Lo Mein, Egg Rolls, and Crab Rangoon. The egg rolls were tasty and jam packed. I like that their crab ragoons are more flat which makes them easier to eat. Boneless spare ribs combo came with pork fried rice and an egg roll... The rice and boneless spare ribs was very tasteful I was impressed, but the egg roll was mid. But all is well. I do recommend this spot if you're in the mood for Chinese food. I haven't tasted everything on their menu but if cooked like the boneless spare rib combo I had then it will be a hit. My fave Chinese spot!!! It's super close to my house and when I tell y'all I've been going here since I was a kid, it's crazy!! They want a $5 min for credit card, I understand why but still credit cards are a cost of doing business. But to then charge $.30 for a 1/4 full container of the chili oil is ridiculous. So I have now eaten take-out several times from La China since it's around the corner from my house. The interior of the restaurant is your basic somewhat rundown take-out spot. The staff has gotten better since they've gotten to know me and their attention to detail is definitely more on point. The food has been very consistent and has always been very fresh, good quality, and seasoned very well. Their chicken lo mein is absolutely amazing, and the Crab Rangoon is a definite must try for an appetizer. The meat quality has stayed consistent which I appreciate because I do not like fatty meats. My wife and I have now tried almost a dozen different items and all of them are very good in their own way. Don't be fooled by the rundown exterior because the food quality and taste are definitely worth it. We go here for breakfast tacos as well as the agua Fresca. We get all flavors mixed together! So good.

Boo, the food was very dry, the sauce tasted like dishwater. They could do much better if only they would try. First and last time.

This place has the best General Tso's sauce. You might wonder why I didn't say General Tso's "chicken." The unfortunate fact is, like many Chinese restaurants, the General Tso's chicken is made with some type of slick greasy chicken found only in Chinese restaurants. But I found a workaround: Order the sweet and sour chicken and ask for General Tso's sauce instead. It costs a little more, and you don't get broccoli, but it's worth it to have white meat chicken. This place also has the best egg rolls in town. Sometimes we come here just because we're craving egg rolls. They recently had to remove the egg roll from the lunch special to keep the price low. Really good local Chinese. Pretty affordable and the portions are HUGE! I had the dinner portion of the shrimp and broccoli which was awesome. A little heavy on the sauce for me but it was still really good. It comes with the "small" portion of white rice which is 2 cups measured!! ($10.95) I also ordered the veggie fried rice which was really good!!! It wasn't greasy and it had a crisp pan tossed/toasted flavor to it! I will definitely get this again!! I ordered the large and it was 4+ cups of rice!!!! ($4.95) And I had to try the veggie lo mein which was good too. I'd pick the fried rice over the lo mein for next time but that's pure preference. Although not fancy, but we all crave New York style Chinese food from time to time. We're chinese ourselves, and we've tried many many Chinese take out spot around East Orlando, this is by far the best one. Their ingredients are fresh, sauces are on point, the chef knows what he's doing. I saw this place only had 3 1/2 stars so I needed to do my part to raise the reviews! We moved to Florida a few years ago from New Hampshire and haven't been able to find a decent Chinese place down here until now. We heard about La China from a friend and it was delicious! The prices weren't bad. Portions were definitely not as big as what you get in NH but it was worth the price. This place is probably my favorite Chinese take out in Orlando. The food is never greasy and you get awesome portions! I usually order the steamed mixed vegetables w/ white rice and a brown sauce. The sauce is SO good. I could put it on anything. The fried plantain chips are really good too! They are soft but not too crisp. We were tired from the park, so we used Uber Eats to order takeout the Uber Eats worked great but the food wasn't good. The flavor was off. The rice tasted old. The soup had no flavor. This place has the best homemade egg rolls in town! The egg rolls are the star. I also really enjoy the chicken with mixed vegetables. The sauce is very light and savory not jellied, goopy or sweet. They use a variety of fresh vegetables and mushrooms and the presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I find the fried rice to be bland and undercooked so I don't always eat it.
