We've been to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, countless hotels, and restaurants all over the place, and this is the first restaurant where the host proactively asked about food allergies before we were even seated. Our server, Dom, was phenomenal. He never stopped smiling, even though one of my kids flagged him down at least 10 times throughout the meal. He carefully double-checked the allergy information, communicated it to the rest of the staff, and checked on us frequently to make sure everything was perfect. What truly set this experience apart was the level of care from the entire team. The manager and chef both came to our table to speak with us personally, explain the meaning behind the special purple pick, and ensure we felt completely comfortable and cared for. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Not only was it safe, but it was packed with flavor--something that can be surprisingly hard to find when navigating food allergies. Without exaggeration, this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. 10,000/10. Exceptional service, exceptional people, and exceptional food.

Service was exceptional, actually ever helpful since the menu is huge and it's hard to know what to order, waiter was showing us pictures of the dishes. I did find the menu to be way too large and overwhelming. I would prefer to have it smaller. It took us awhile to figure out what to order. The vibe is very similar to the "meat market", pretty loud, old men on a gear with super young women drinking. We were seated far away in the corner and we were happy about that. They had non alcoholic cocktails, but server told us that they all super sweet and he recommended virgin mojito. Which was very good. We ordered miso cauliflower, which was great, and the portion was pretty decent. Crispy rice spicy tuna was amazing, we loved it. We also had salmon tartare and island maki sushi. Everything was exceptional. We got recommended to get a cheesecake and my husband loved it but I didn't like it at all. I was expecting more Asian style but it was super American overly sweet cheesecake. I don't like very sweet food, so it wasn't my thing. But they did have hot tea which was great to end the dinner with.

Let's start with drinks -- perfectly crafted cocktails. I got to try everyone's drink around the table and I enjoyed each one. I ended up ordering a Grass Tiger myself and then a Lychee Martini. For food, we ordered enough to share with the table. We went with a Midori Roll, Lobster wagyu, Crispy Rice, Hamachi Sashimi, Toro Sashimi, Crab Noodle, Panang Beef Short Rib, and a Yellowtail Jalapeño. Everything we ordered was pretty damn delicious. The only thing I can pick on is that the crispy rice wasn't as crispy as it should have been and most likely sat at the cooks station for a while before making it to our table. The people at my table usually order this and said that this was a one off. Overall, this is a great place for dinner. I'd love to come try it out for lunch one day if provided. If not, I'll be back regardless.

The food & drinks were great. We started with 2 cocktails the EL Narco, twist on a margarita mae with Cimarron Blanco, Xicala Joven, BroVo Uncharted, Allspice, Ancho Reyes, Pineapple Amaro, Lime. And the GREEN APPLE PISCO SOUR made with Pisco, Cocchi Americano, Orgeat, Green Apple, Lamon, Golden Green Apple. The meals are served tapas style easily shareable, but you may not want to. We first got the SMOKY SPICY TUNA ROLL. The presentation was GREAT!!! It has Tuna Tartare, Seared Akami, Spicy Mayo, Cucumbers, Togarashi, Smoked Dome which is also Available Smoke Free. The BIRRIA EGG ROLLS followed these were our favorite!!! Made with Slow Roasted Beef, Guate Censoreme, Oaxaca Cheese, Onion, Cilentro, Lime Next came the CHAR SUI PORK FRIED RICE made with Charred Pork Belly, Fried Egg, Ginger, Garlic, Shiitake, Chili Flakes, Soy Sauce, Scallions. Finally we got the DRUNKEN NOODLES, we added Chicken. Made with Wide Rice Noodles, Baby Heirloom Tomatoes, Egg, Onion, Garlic, Fresno Chilis. Over all our favorites were the Birria Egg Rolls, Char Sui Pork Fried Rice and Smoky Spicy Tina Roll. The prices are a bit hirer from what you may pay elsewhere, but you can't beat the presentation and eclectic ambiance. If you are looking for an interesting evening out give this place a try. It was recommended to make reservations, glad we did on a Saturday evening, as it started to get busy especially the adjacent restaurant, had live music getting ready to hit the stage.

The decor is over the top, the pink lighting is fantastic, and the leopard print on the bar, and the menus, is just fun. We sat down at the bar, so we could check out the happy hour drinks, and food specials, and were not disappointed. The bar seats are large, comfortable, and plentiful. The bartenders are great, super friendly, attentive, as are the servers who brought our food; and also checked in on us. We tried many things on the menu, from drinks to food, and everything was delicious. I started with a penichillin, a riff on the penicillin that was very tasty. I also had the old fashioned, with chai flavoring in it (well balanced, great depth of flavor), and the lychee martini (delicious, not sweet). On to the food. We started with the cucumbers, which are deliciously marinated, with great flavor. Then the kimchi edamame, which was a great riff on traditional edamame, great umami flavor, and some spice (but not overly so). Next the bao buns arrived, I had the pork belly bao, which was outstanding, generously portioned, and had some coleslaw that added even more flavor. Then the bang bang shrimp arrived, and this was one of my favorite things we ate - crispy, and bit of spice. The crab fried rice was exceptional, generously portioned with crab, and mushrooms in it. So good! We likely over ordered, as we had a lot of leftover food, but we really, really enjoyed it! Will absolutely be back when in the area again!

We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect. But we really do wish that they would bring back the actual full order of the five spice chicken wings as that was his go to when we went there and because that's not on the menu it may decrease the amount of time we go back now because he doesn't really care for a lot of the other menu items. I got the five spice green beans, which is one of my favorite items on the menu. I was surprised to hear that they had taken it off the menu for a while and that they had just brought it back. so glad that they did because that was the whole reason we had traveled out there and had they not been on the menu. There's a good chance we probably would've found somewhere else. I also had the Po Po Lau curry because it is another one of my favorite dishes.

The drink was good with some spices, but instead of a craft ice, they just used regular crushed ice, making the drink a bit watered down. For my food, they sadly no longer had the duck noodles, so I tried the CKT noodles (15 dollars) instead. They mentioned it would have a smokey flavor from the wok preparation, which I enjoyed. However, the noodles were quite chewy. The meats included shrimp, pork sausage, and chicken. The chicken and shrimp were enjoyable, but the sausage could have used a bit of a punch. I was able to get some sambal for heat, but it lacked flavor and it was a bit gritty too. At least there was an ample amount such that I could take some home for the next day. My server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was the same. I did enjoy the audible music and crowd, making the vibe nice. I would definitely come back if the bring the duck noodles again, and maybe try another drink next time too. Overall: B-
