I definitely went all in on this order I got the wonton soup, sesame chicken with pork fried rice, 4-piece fried chicken wings with fries, and vegetable lo mein. Every single item was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. DoorDash followed my delivery instructions exactly, and the non-contact delivery was smooth and right on time which was perfect since it was my lunch break. I have not had good shrimp fried rice in forever and was excited to find a restaurant that was what I thought, similar to what I am used to. The inside of the restaurant is exactly what I would expect, not much seating but many don't dine in at places like this much. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice wasn't at all what I was expecting. I'm used to the soy sauce drowned rice with small sized shrimp, veggies, and eggs. This rice on the other hand included yellow rice with large shrimp, carrots, onions and no eggs. While it was still fairly good, just wasn't what I had my mouth set on. I waited a good 10 minutes for my food since the orders are cooked to order. The portions aren't too bad for the price and the food was nice and fresh. The cashier could have been more customer service friendly but I didn't let that ruin the visit. Glad to have experienced a different version of shrimp fried rice. read more

Upon entering, I noticed that the atmosphere resembled that of a typical Chinese takeout place, with limited seating and a glass barrier between customers and the counter staff. The service was efficient, but I must mention my dissatisfaction with the $1.50 charge for a 3oz cup of garlic sauce, which seemed excessive. The lady behind the counter was pleasant, although she could have been a bit friendlier and smiled more. As for the food, I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and fried chicken. The rice was somewhat lacking in seasoning, but adding the provided hot sauce packet improved the flavor. On the other hand, the chicken was well-seasoned and crispy. first time getting food here. Yuck. The Hawaiian special had one shrimp, one piece of a scallop, little chicken. It was mostly beef and the beef wasn't even chewable. (I rinsed the sauce off of it and have it to my dog). The ham fried rice..... the pork pieces were great, but the rice... tasted sour, off. My husband had spring rolls and vegetable fried rice, he said it was ok but would never get food from here again. Not nearly as good as the other Chinese places in the same vicinity. This place is incredible. We have lived right around the corner from here for 8 years and have never eaten here but this will be our go to Chinese spot from now on. The food was incredible! Everything was super fresh, the egg rolls were amazing, we also got Lo Mein and Fried Rice along with the Cashew Chicken, Hot and Sour soup and Szechuan beef which had a nice kick to it. The orange chicken was so tasteless that if it didn't have a peice of orange peel on top I wouldn't have known what it was. My usual for Chinese takeout is Sweet n Sour Chicken with General Tso's sauce. Why on't I just order General Tso's? Because I can't identify the meat in GSC. But I know most places use white meat for SnSC. So it's Easter Sunday, and I'm craving Chinese for lunch. So I call my usual place, and they say they don't do lunch specials on holidays. Really? It's Sunday. Everyone's off already anyway. Grrr. So I call New China, and they were offering lunch specials. Cool! So I place my order, and to my delight, they didn't upcharge me for subbing sauces like my ususal place does. Bonus! The chicken was really good. My Go to Chinese spot in the area! Sure the fried rice was a little yellow and not the usual golden brown but I don't discriminate, flavor was there. If the color bothers u, close your eyes while you chew lol tadaa magic. The fried rice isn't as greasy as others around, the food is full of flavor and the wings are hard to beat. These wings are huge, as they should be and the general tso's chicken is also on point. I've tried the lo mein as well but too greasy for me, haven't found perfect noodles yet but still searching. We have been coming here for 4 years now. They are super friendly. I love their fried dumplings, and their steak and cheese egg roll is oh so good! A bit greasy but yummy all the same. The wings are addicting! The Lomein is great too. I don't care for their crab Rangoon, the dough is tough and not crispy. I've gotten it a few times and it's always this way. We have been frequenting this restaurant since it first opened and initially were very pleased. Lately however it seems that the quality of the food has went down. The dishes used to be very meaty with an appropriate amount of veggies for the dish. Now it seems they have lessened the amount of meat and are substituting less expensive vegetables when possible (lettuce and cabbage). This place was middle-of-the-road average Chinese takeout for a long while. Recently, however, it seems like they've changed their food supplier to increase profit margins. The dumplings no longer have a hearty sausage inside, but an unidentifiable grey colored meat fluff that tastes like onions. The General Tso's chicken is only fried batter with virtually no chicken inside. The crab rangoons are no longer made with a crunchy dough, but a bright orange chewy substance with an off putting sandy texture. The fried rice doesn't have any flavor aside from what the undercooked onions and freeze-dried peas provide. Pretty darn good Chinese....especially for Lake Nowhere! OK, this is probably located more in Orlando, but close enough to Lake Nona. For years, residents of Lake Nona have had to suffer with terrible Chinese food from the only three Chinese restaurants in our small town. So when New China opened its doors, I didn't even bother trying it. I figure just another sub-par Chinese joint shooting out tasteless versions of soy sauce-laden dishes. After all, that's all we had for years in this area. I finally stopped in New China on a whim. It was late, I didn't want to cook, and I happened to be in the area. Boy am I glad I stopped in! I only ordered the Hot & Sour soup and the Hot & Spicy Beef dish. They were both full of flavor and delicious! I can only hope their other dishes are equally tasty.
