They have plenty of options for sides, including sweet potato fries, tater tots, chips, and regular fries. It's located right off Washington Ave near Orange in Downtown Orlando. We were in the mood for a sandwich and this spot has been on my list of places to try for a while now. We decided to order and got delivery via Uber Eats. The food came quickly and was still nice and fresh. I chose to order a chicken mushroom sandwich without onions. I couldn't decide between white American cheese and cheese whiz so I got both lol. No such thing as too much cheese, right? On the Uber Eats menu they were out of large subs, but a small sub was plenty. It looks small initially, but my sandwich was packed full of chicken and mushrooms (and cheese of course!) I loved the mushrooms in the sandwich. They were so flavorful and there was a generous amount. The chicken was tender and not dry at all. I did find the cheese whiz to be a bit on the salty side, so I will probably opt to just do the American cheese next time. I did enjoy the texture of the cheese whiz though. The bread seemed a bit dry to me, but I appreciated that it was a nice hearty bread that didn't get too soggy and it held the sandwich together nicely. This was a messy sandwich, but those kind are often the best! My boyfriend enjoyed his steak philly and ranked it as one of his favorites in town. We live across the street. The steak subs are okay, not great. They need a better quality roll which has some crunch. On one occasion, I ordered provolone cheese and received white American without notice to me. When I realized it, they indicated that they were out of provolone. I would like to have known that before they finalized my sub. On another occasion, I ordered regular coke. They had a fountain machine. I dispensed regular coke, however it tasted like diet. When I brought it to their attention, they advised that they were out of regular coke so they put diet in the regular dispenser. SMH. Could not understand the rationale, and, again, would have liked to have known that. What if I made my drink to go? I am not sure of the judgment of the owners and/or management there. Another steak sub place will soon be opening nearby. I hope they continue to improve so they will remain open. read more

Excellent cheese steaks. I took my parents here. They grew up in Philadelphia. They both said the steak sandwiches were delicious. My dad who is super picky said it was without a doubt the best one he has had in Orlando. He wasn't sure if it was the best in Florida or tied for the best with another place in South Florida. I also really liked my steak sandwich. I agree with them that it is the best in Orlando. My only complaints are I don't like going downtown because I'm an old man and it can be crowded down there with difficult parking. I also wasn't a huge fan of the sauce. I can't think of a good way to describe it, maybe to much acid and onion? Either way this place is great. If you want the best cheese steak in Orlando you should go here. read more

The philly cheese steak with saute onions was fantastic. My wife had the chicken philly cheese steak also with onions. That was also delicious. I've tried several places but none of them measure up to this place. the service is always A1 being downtown you never know what to expect with a restaurant it could be packed or could be empty. both times I came in to into this place we're pretty empty it was off time for the restaurant. But no matter the service was still good. They have several different options for the kinds of phillys you'd want so if you're a philly steak fan I'm sure there's something there for you to eat. Loading Zone didn't disappoint! I work in downtown and a coworker suggested it to go as he passed by on his walk. We went around 1 and it was busy but not packed. The ladies who helped us were very helpful with my questions so I went with the classic philly size small and a side of fries. There is an assortment of sodas and teas to drink as well as different condiments before you sit down. It took about 10-15 mins for our table to get our lunch and thank goodness I got the small because they are not shy with the filling or fries! Stopped in for dinner one night and they were not crowded. It was earlier in the evening and it was raining so am sure that kept some of the crowds away. The cashier was super friendly and able to explain the menu and the different options available to me and the kids. I loved having multiple side options (fries, tots, sweet potato fries, etc). The bread tasted fresh and delicious and the sandwich had the perfect balance of onions and steak! The fries were, well, fries. Nothing special. I was hoping for a little more excitement but the sandwich was so pleasing I can forgive plain fries. I seem to recall there being a menu item where you can get the cheesesteak ON the fries and well that sounds divine! I may have to try that next! Parking can be a little tricky, but once this weather cools down I'll head there via lime bike for sure! If you're coming at lunch time I'd suggest to call your order ahead just because the rush can be unpredictable downtown. The sandwiches are seriously loaded with ingredients that have always been fresh and worth the price. The fries are great too, and the service is really good. Parking can be a nightmare if you go to the location in your car, but that's not necessarily reflective on the business itself. The one time I did visit the physical location, I called the order in through an APP. Loading Zone did not receive the order and I had to wait an extended period of time as a result. The regular Philly steak is just OK. I have family in Philadelphia and nothing compares to those cheesesteaks. The good thing is this place has a lot of options. This is the place for some good Philly Steaks in Orlando. My cousins posted a video of them eating at the Loading Zone Philly Steaks and when they got to the point in the video when my cousin took a bite and the expression of joy on his face spread like wild fire and his head kept bobbing up and down in the "Hell Yeah mode", I knew then I got to hit them up when I get to Orlando. So one warm late night in August we decided to go eat there after leaving the cigar bar. My guy, my cousin and myself walked to the restaurant which had the jams playing on the inside, it was empty except for the one takeout order customer waiting on his meal. We all ordered the large phill steak with cheese, pepper, onions and mushrooms. I wanted Italian Dressing added on my and a side for dipping and an order of French Fries as a side item. The cashier quickly took our orders and processed them quickly. While our food was being made I took a quick looky lou around the restaurant in which we decided to eat there because we were hungry and couldn't stand to smell all that goodness in a long construction laden road drive back to the other side of town to our hotel room. The drinks were self serve at the drink station with Coke Products, which the station was clean. The bathrooms were also quite clean being that this is in the downtown area and its late so no drunken mess was found in there. They have ample room for seating a nice crowd. Yes they have those hard little metal chairs that I kinda don't like but I sat my butt in them anyway because a lot of restaurants have them now. They have cool decor, real lively, I would say. Bright signs every where. Now for the food, that darn philly steak was the bomb! The bread was crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, their was loads of thinly sliced steak , which was tender and flavorful . I know now why my cousin had the shear look of joy when he it in his sand which because I had that same look to and the cheese string that lingered in the air when I pulled the sand which from my mouth made say " Oh hell yeah"! This is what I'm talking about. My French fries were extra long in length and fried gold crisp on the outside and was seasoned to taste, they were served steaming hot and funny that they held that heat for quite a while. Customer Service was great they checked on us often to make sure we were pleased with our meal . If in Downtown Orlando do yourself a favor and stop by and get a philly steak you wont regret it!
