    Drive thru!

I went here a week after opening. Ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. So be prepared for a bit of a wait. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use to fry the foods but my body did not agree with it. The employees are really friendly and answered all of my questions. I found out they use the same kind of fish for the fish and chips dinner that they do for the fish sandwich. So if you're curious like I was, hopefully this helps. Overall, I'm not sure if I would give Culver's another chance. I may try one of their shakes, but this may not be the fast food place for me. I have some friends who absolutely love it though so I guess it just kind of depends on you.

This place is a little bit of heaven. My wife and I were first introduced to it in Tampa and I don't know if I have met a better custard chain. They are next door to Doodle Bugs preschool and Dunkin' Donuts. In front of Christian brothers.

Culver's is one of our favorite fast food spots. Ever since moving to East Orlando we have missed having one close by. We took the short drive to Oviedo and really enjoyed our meal. Great service and the team truly works like a well oiled machine. We will definitely be back!

Good location and as it's new it's very clean and tidy. Quick service and very friendly for a fast food chain. We like the kids meals here as they are not only tastier than other chains but they also come with a desert ice cream as well as a "token". Once you collect enough tokens you can pick off the prize wall! There are great prizes including plush to basketballs!

    Turtle sundae. Very good.

Culver's is directly across the street from chicken salad chick. Just ordered the custard special today which was Cashew caramel. The problem is there was one little spot of caramel in it. I went thru the drive thru and started to eat it down the road otherwise I would have turned around. The crazy thing is the owner of the establishment handed it to me. You would think he would not have given that to a custard. Very small portion of custard and you could tell there was caramel in it. It was such a tiny amount you couldn't even taste it. The owner was very polite and I understand it is a fast food restaurant but there still needs to be some quality control. I should have taken a photo of it. For some reason I never get a receipt from this store.

I remember the first time I had Culver's vividly. Not because I'm a savant with a great memory, but because it's relatively new in these parts. This Wisconsin based chain delivers some of the best fast food burgers I've ever had. For pure burger goodness, they're probably a hair behind Five Guys, but are a fraction of the price (don't get me started on the cost of eating at that place). I remember the first time I had Cheese Curds (A&W). This time it's because they completely changed my view of fried cheese. How can cheese curds be better than cheese sticks? I don't know, but they are! They're not better than that big thick wheel of fried provolone though! Italians still got you beat there, cheese heads! It goes without saying, a trip to Culvers isn't complete without upgrading a combo meal to cheese curds. I've tried most of the items at Culvers over the years from the Pot Roast Sandwich (Delicious), Fried Pork Loin (bland), Reuben (good and greasy), Cod (Fantastic), and shrimp (good but I'd rather get more cod), Chicken Sandwiches (decent, but they ain't winning no chicken sandwich wars), and tenders (good). They also have ice cream or custard (I never really understood or tasted the difference). My current go to items are the fish and the burgers and of course, the cheese curds. I have not had the Veggie Burger yet but plan on it on a future visit (upgrading to cheese curds, obviously).

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. It's not my top pick for burgers, but it's definitely not a bad option either.

I went on a Saturday around 10am and was seated right away. The restaurant is very large. The restaurant sits along a popular bike trail and you will see many people biking on by. The service was great. The waitress was so pleasant and helpful when ordering and made sure I got everything I wanted. Timing in drinks and food was spaced out nicely. I ordered a large orange juice and the white chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes. Plus got scrambled eggs and 2 sausage patties. The pancakes were so beyond delicious! I highly recommend ordering. A bowl place in a strip mall. No concerns. The place was clean. Service was spectacular. The person who I take was an owner helped take our order, and she had great insights into the menu. We talked, and she gave me a good tip on mixing two of the sauces together to make a new sauce that was creamy and spicy. Very fun. Food was perfect, too. There weren't tubs of continuously heated proteins just sitting out in the open. Every order was grabbed from the cooler and heated up on the flat top. That really added a nice little crisp to the proteins, a tiny bit of char. The menu was that of a typical bowl place. Bases, hummuses, proteins, toppings, lots of variety. Everything had a nice, prominent flavor, the veg was fresh and crisp, and the quantities were very optimal. I was full after my bowl, and that doesn't always happen. I tried the Philly cheesesteak on both occasions and I feel that something is off. On the first trip, I felt that the bread seems doughy and the meat to cheese ratio is off where there was too much cheese. The steak was chewy and different have must flavor that I'm used of tasting from a cheesesteak. In trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and believing that the experience was a bit off since this was carry out order and I didn't eat it right away, I decided to wait a bit before trying this place again. On the second trip, I ordered the same thing and paid extra to make it a hoagie (adding lettuce and tomatoes). I must say that I feel some kind a way about having to order extra for lettuce and tomatoes, but that was the choice I made. Instead of waiting, I decided to take a bite immediately when I got to my car. The bread was still too doughy for my liking and i feel there was too much cheese to make the sandwich too chewy. I tasted the meat separately and found the flavor lacking. In the end, I tossed the rest of the sandwich in the trash. So, I tried this place a couple of times and can't say I would go back for a third trip.
