Drive thru!

I went here a week after opening. Ended up waiting about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. So be prepared for a bit of a wait. I'm not sure what kind of oil they use to fry the foods but my body did not agree with it. The employees are really friendly and answered all of my questions. I found out they use the same kind of fish for the fish and chips dinner that they do for the fish sandwich. So if you're curious like I was, hopefully this helps. Overall, I'm not sure if I would give Culver's another chance. I may try one of their shakes, but this may not be the fast food place for me. I have some friends who absolutely love it though so I guess it just kind of depends on you.

This place is a little bit of heaven. My wife and I were first introduced to it in Tampa and I don't know if I have met a better custard chain. They are next door to Doodle Bugs preschool and Dunkin' Donuts. In front of Christian brothers.

Culver's is one of our favorite fast food spots. Ever since moving to East Orlando we have missed having one close by. We took the short drive to Oviedo and really enjoyed our meal. Great service and the team truly works like a well oiled machine. We will definitely be back!

Good location and as it's new it's very clean and tidy. Quick service and very friendly for a fast food chain. We like the kids meals here as they are not only tastier than other chains but they also come with a desert ice cream as well as a "token". Once you collect enough tokens you can pick off the prize wall! There are great prizes including plush to basketballs!

Turtle sundae. Very good.

Culver's is directly across the street from chicken salad chick. Just ordered the custard special today which was Cashew caramel. The problem is there was one little spot of caramel in it. I went thru the drive thru and started to eat it down the road otherwise I would have turned around. The crazy thing is the owner of the establishment handed it to me. You would think he would not have given that to a custard. Very small portion of custard and you could tell there was caramel in it. It was such a tiny amount you couldn't even taste it. The owner was very polite and I understand it is a fast food restaurant but there still needs to be some quality control. I should have taken a photo of it. For some reason I never get a receipt from this store.

I remember the first time I had Culver's vividly. Not because I'm a savant with a great memory, but because it's relatively new in these parts. This Wisconsin based chain delivers some of the best fast food burgers I've ever had. For pure burger goodness, they're probably a hair behind Five Guys, but are a fraction of the price (don't get me started on the cost of eating at that place). I remember the first time I had Cheese Curds (A&W). This time it's because they completely changed my view of fried cheese. How can cheese curds be better than cheese sticks? I don't know, but they are! They're not better than that big thick wheel of fried provolone though! Italians still got you beat there, cheese heads! It goes without saying, a trip to Culvers isn't complete without upgrading a combo meal to cheese curds. I've tried most of the items at Culvers over the years from the Pot Roast Sandwich (Delicious), Fried Pork Loin (bland), Reuben (good and greasy), Cod (Fantastic), and shrimp (good but I'd rather get more cod), Chicken Sandwiches (decent, but they ain't winning no chicken sandwich wars), and tenders (good). They also have ice cream or custard (I never really understood or tasted the difference). My current go to items are the fish and the burgers and of course, the cheese curds. I have not had the Veggie Burger yet but plan on it on a future visit (upgrading to cheese curds, obviously).

Super nice staff and great atmosphere. I had the Swiss burger and it was delicious. They also have endless flavors of custards and shakes.

I've eaten here before and never thought much of it. But today? Everything just clicked. The $6 All-American Smash Burger with fries and a Coke was shockingly good. I'm talking "one of the best burgers I've had in a while" good. Fresh, hot, juicy, with crispy edges and a perfect amount of condiments dripping down my hand. You could tell the cook actually cared--pickles spread out, tomato centered, ketchup/mayo/mustard evenly distributed. That never happens at fast-food places. The fries were hot and freshly cooked, and the Coke had great carbonation. I ordered through the app at spot #4. It said five minutes but ended up being nine--not a big deal. The woman who brought out the order was very polite, double-checked everything, and made sure it was right. Only small gripe: the Sonic app only lets you select five condiments. I wanted four ketchups but had to settle for one salt, two peppers, and two ketchups. Bottom line: unexpectedly excellent meal today.

My husband is going through some medical issues and so after a long day of fasting, we decided to…read moregrab some lunch at steak 'n Shake. Obviously we haven't been there in a long time and we're not very happy with the changes. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but you have to order on a kiosk. I asked if we couldn't just have a menu and sit down and they said no you had to order on the kiosk, but they were very helpful and showed us everything on the kiosk and then they told you to go get your drink. What I didn't know is that you have to scan your receipt first before you can pour your own tea. I was also disappointed in the menu. They don't even have salads anymore, so I ordered a hotdog and I asked for a side of coleslaw instead of french fries. Nope! They don't even have coleslaw anymore. The hotdog was good. The meat seems like good quality. I was just kind of disappointing that you couldn't get what you actually wanted. My husband got some kind of double cheeseburger and a milkshake. He said they were both very good. He said that the meat was better quality than most of the fast food burger places. Ambience well it's really bright and pretty with the red and white and black color but you have to be willing to bus your own tables and bring your own food to the table. I will have to say that the manager that was very kind. Seeing my husband's medical condition he did bring the food to our table without us even asking. I guess we had just expected to go in and sit down and get a menu and relax a bit. Instead, you gotta work for your lunch you reminded me of the grocery stores that are putting in all the self checkout.
