This is a can't miss stop for a cookie lover who craves the warm, fresh out of the oven cookie. There's a large selection of cookies that are always on the menu along with other treats like brownies and ice cream. They also mix in seasonal cookie flavors. The service was efficient. The employee gave me pointers regarding the app. It's a take out situation inside with no where to sit.

Warm gooey center and crunchy edges made this a perfect late night treat. I got the salted caramel and the triple chocolate chip. My cookie was warm the other was not but either way they were both very good and the smell of fresh baked cookies walking in made this experience even more exciting as I have not been here in a while. Customer service was friendly and attentive.

If you're already a fan of Insomnia Cookies, don't sleep on their brownies. I've never tasted their cookies but their brownies are to die for. Especially their chocolate chip brownies. My boyfriend went out on a late night run and got us all of the brownie flavors they had, it totally hit the spot. Rich, dense, and super chocolatey with just the right balance of fudgy and chewy. It's the kind of brownie that feels homemade. I love that even if they aren't warm, they remain soft!

People rave about this place all the time saying the cookies are so good. I have tried them before and they were just good. This is a very small shop and it can get a bit cramped. Though it's just cookies so you're in and out. The service was quick. I got the Chocolate Chunk and the Classic with M&Ms. They were both good and warm. Were they extraordinary? No. If you're nearby and really craving cookies this is a good spot but I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here.

The lazy guy and the sign still on.

Horrible customer service the guy in there has the open sign on and I walk in and he yells at me to get out and says he was too lazy to turn the sign off. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous.

Caramellionare ice cream on a chocolate chunk and double chocolate chunk cookie

Insomnia is a staple in the UCF area, and for a good reason! Their desserts are reliable when you have that sweet tooth. I visited this past week, and the caramellionaire ice cream caught my eye. I had asked the worker to recommend the cookie that the ice cream would compliment, and she offered the double chocolate chunk cookie. I ended up choosing the chocolate chunk cookie, but she threw in the double chocolate cookie free of charge! What a nice girl! Both cookies were warm and yummy with the ice cream; she was not playing about that double chocolate chunk. Thanks Insomnia!

Cons: *on the side of a busy road in the city so parking is not easy *the workers were outside smoking when we were walking in, and they were pretty rude/inappropriate with their conversation in front of customers *they didn't have a lot of flavors available *the cookies were garbage. Hard, terrible flavor, crumbled in your hand (not in a good way). Super disappointing

The cookies are really good. I tried the red velvet and the chocolate chip. They are not as big as Crumbl cookie, so perfect size.

I told the guy I would be making modifications but after I said no tomato he just kept going not asking me if this or that was okay so he had to take the meat off of the bread because I wanted a condiment. Then he added salt which I can't have and I said something & he replied it's Mike's Way. Ok um I didn't ask for it like that. They can't toast sandwiches. So I paid almost $11 for something I didn't want. I'll just stick to Publix subs because they're less than $8 and they have low sodium Boars Head meats and cheeses, spicy mustard, Deli dressing, Pepperhouse Gourmaise and can toast your sandwich and don't put anything on until you request it. Plus way more vegetable options.

First, I ordered on the Jersey Mike's app, three subs, two cold and one hot, was given a time to pick it up and headed that way. Walking into this Jersey Mike's location at the time they were to be ready, I was told that they were waiting to make the subs because they were waiting for more bread to come out of the oven. I get that they might run out of inventory, but this was 4:45, pretty much right before the dinner rush hour. I would assume you get down to ten rolls or whatever, you put more in the oven. If this was the only thing, it would have been no big deal. Yet, this was the start of a series of errors. I took my order and headed out. When I got home, I found that all three subs were not made correctly. Not one, not two, but all three. I guess that I should give them some kind of accolade for messing up three out of three subs. Also the subs were very meager in their meat. I mean seriously skimpy. Could this be an off day? Sure, but I would rather not return to this location.

I gave one of the workers my name since I had been waiting awhile, they found my order and made my sandwich within 15 minutes. I was disappointed by my sandwich. For free it was perfectly fine and tasty. The menu price was just over $10. It was so small. Like smaller than Subway small - in diameter. The bread was good but there wasn't much filling. I would not pay full price for a sandwich here.

If you join the Jimmy John's reward program, you get a free sub after your first purchase and surprisingly, I was not a member yet so I signed up and shortly after my first order, I received the free sub in the app. I have yet to redeem this thing. The wife isn't a fan of this place, so I'll likely be back when I'm out and about on my own, although she did like the Thai Chicken Wrap, so maybe I'll make a convert. Maybe if they renamed it to Joey Joe's it would be much more liked.

I arrived and only saw post-it notes on the windows with like 3 or 4 items, none of which I wanted. After contemplating, someone opened the window and handed me a menu. Whew! I had more options. I was about to get ready to walk away. I looked quickly at the menu and decided on 3 tacos at $2.50 each. The flavor was good on all of them, but they all had the exact same toppings, which is a pet peeve of mine. The Al Pastor could have used pineapple as a topping, which would have added much needed moisture (most of the al pastor tacos I've had had pineapple on them). I think any pineapple flavor was masked by the onions and cilantro. The chicken taco was a bit dry also so I had to use the sauce provided on it. The Chorizo was excellent though. I'd totally get that again. I didn't see any drinks (again, I looked quickly at the menu), so I ended up down the road at Wawa for an extra large soda pop where they had a table I could sit at too. I'm not a fan of eating in the car or standing, so that was the best option. I was reading more reviews and will probably go back to try the birria and maybe even see if I can get a Choripollo burrito off menu. The first visit was just OK for me, nothing too bad, but had a few missteps. I haven't seen the truck there the past few times I drove by. Stay tuned!

I was in the area visiting family and wanted to grab some coffee before the road trip home to South Florida. A local business is better than a Starbucks. Bonus is it's my favorite bakery in Orlando so I'm here for it. This Light on the Sugar is located next to the Regal Cinemas in Waterford Lakes. Squished between Charley's Philly Cheesesteaks and Zen Dumplings. What I dislike about this location is the wooden gazebo they built directly in front of these stores. It totally hides the name of the stores and it's not appealing. This made it hard to find too. They should honestly get rid of the gazebos, these poor stores may be losing potential business because people can't locate it. This bakery is the smallest one compared to the original two locations I've been to. It's ok because they still sell most of the same items, just less of a selection due to limited space. They offer the popular cream puffs, pastries, tarts, merch and drinks. On this particular day, I only got the Pistachio Latte and an Americano. My husband likes a good simple coffee with no bells and whistles. The other stuff is too much for him. Ha. I really debated getting pastries for the road but I was just at the Winter Park location yesterday and got an assortment so I was good on pastries. My Pistachio Latte was good, but it was a tad on the sweet sweeter side. I had my husband mix some of his Americano with my latte so it balanced out a little bit more for both of us. All in all, nice new and intimate location with a few tables indoors and outdoors. I still prefer the other beautiful and more aesthetic locations. Good thing this bakery wasn't here when I lived here, I would be broke! Lol.
