This is my GO-TO BURGER place. I like the burgers from many other places but only 5 Guys hits a certain spot on my crave list!

Chain restaurants are usually very similar or exact in their execution and taste. I would say that this place did not seem to be as friendly as I received no greeting when I went in and had to wait for the cashier to mumble "what you want?" The food took only about 5 minutes but there were no orders ahead of us. The fries which are usually great were a bit on the warm (not hot) side so that was a bit disappointing. read more

This particular location is in the Waterford Lakes Town Centre. It is a convenient location and this particular mall is a popular destination so they do get a lot of foot traffic. The burgers are decent, but a bit on the higher priced side. The french fries are good. I wore it as a badge of honor for not liking Five Guys. Kind of fun to see everyone's horror and then argue with me how wrong I was! Well I finally went back after a long time and we'll I was wrong. That's a really good burger. Really really good. And of course the fries are beyond reproach. Best anywhere (except shore fries). And my son loved the shake. Am I coming back? You bet. The restaurant itself is pretty standard. I did like seeing employees walking around and disinfecting tables. Always good to see! Only one hand sanitizer that I could see. I recommend they add a pump by the checkout. And why do they require signatures for credit cards? That is so 2019. Please fix. It's not required any more especially now! read more

3 Stars for Five Guys mainly for value. They deliver a quality product, but you do pay a premium price for it. It can get pricey as everything is a la cart (no Combo Meals here). Bacon and cheese make it add up even more. The burgers are pretty good. If you want a single patty, you'll have to order the "little" version as their regular versions are all double patties. You can choose whatever toppings you want, and all are pretty fresh. The extra $2 for one more patty seems excessive to me for the size. Burgers and fries are delicious but the Grilled Cheese is amazing (especially if you add bacon). I also tried the veggie sandwich with cheese on this trip and it was very good! Next time, I'll just order a grilled cheese with veggies as I think that would be better. Also, their orders of fries are large. If you're with the family, get a medium or large fries and split it as that might be more cost effective than everyone getting their own order. We were close to $50 for 4 of us. I'm sure we'll be back but it's not a regular stop. It's approaching if not exceeding sit-down restaurant pricing, especially when other places have 2 can eat for $20 and specials like that. I'm not sure if I've seen any promotions for Five Guys. But, there was a huge line and crowd, so they're doing something right. read more

My new go too & FG is the BLT the burgers are typically good but after eating one I always feel like crap so I have since changed to the blt & it's a winner every time. I do wish the cheese would melt better but I enjoy them. read more

Good old Five Guys... this one particular location is pretty relaxed, but I won't say they make the best burgers here, and I mean within the franchise. Not a very pleasant experience. Maybe one of the worst Five Guys I've eaten at. Usually a very positive experience as I love their food. This time it was a miss. The young woman taking my order was not very customer friendly. I got a vibe she doesn't like her job. Very monotone with zero personality. The real issue was the burger. My order took a normal amount of time, but they served me a stale bun. Both the top and bottom buns were stale and crunchy in a not good way. Five Guys burgers aren't cheap for fast food so please get it right. I'm going to wait a few months before returning to this location. Maybe start eating at the other burger joint in Waterford Lakes. You end up with a big drippy meatball. Fries are generous and plentiful. You can see them over fill the cup into the bag. Then weep oil through the paper. Ok so this burger joint is pretty awesome!! You pick a burger from the menu and you can add on to it. You can choose to put on all the extra topping they have in the list or choose just a few. But they have a prtty big list of toppings! The usual, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, ketchup etc... Any extras are jalapeños, relish, mushrooms, green peppers just to name a few. They have a few sauces you can pick from as well. But you can make your burger how you want it, that's one of the best parts. And they serve you a lot of fries as well!! Super delicious meal. I can never finish my meal though. Because I put almost every on there it can get messy but again it's delicious!! Got to try it. read more

When Five Guys first opened we visited 3 times in a month; and, any time our daughter and her friends were hungry for burgers. We love their approach and the fries are "out of this world" good! But it's been years since we've visited, so a local shopping trip at Best Buy, Office Max, and Pier One turned into a dining trip at Five Guys. Same menu, same concept, same GREAT burgers and fries. I get the single patty "all the way" plus relish. My wife gets the double, with more limited toppings, which she changes up depending on her mood. Service was quick and efficient and the staff were friendly, one bus person stopping to talk to us about the holiday decorations at The Town Center. Who doesn't love a good burger?! I can always go for a good Bacon Cheeseburger...but I must say that I won't ever be going back to this Five Guys for one. We stopped by on a mid-Saturday afternoon not thinking it would be swamped. Well, I think we thought wrong (maybe that is why there are tons of peanuts sitting everywhere...hmmmm). The lady at the counter was very nice and asked us if we wanted one of everything. lol. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with a Strawberry milkshake and my boyfriend ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger topped with grilled onions and jalapeños along with a small order of fries and a Freestyle. NOW...you would think that is a pretty basic order...right? Wrong. It took more than 15 minutes to get the order. I swear they had to go out back to kill the cow. What more upsetting is the employees were lollygagging behind the line and messing around for a lot of that time. Not to mention, when we opened up his burger, it was incorrect and the jalapeños were missing. Maybe if they weren't messing around and were doing their jobs, they could lower their ticket times and get the orders correct. One of the employees was walking behind the counter and just ignoring everyone as my boyfriend was standing at the counter. I had to yell at him to tell him that he was standing there and there was something wrong with his order. I will say, the burger was "ok," but not for the money we paid. Sure, the burgers dripping with grease may tickle your taste-buds. And the hot, salty fries quench your hunger. I will admit, the food does tickle my taste-buds making them crave more. But there is just something wrong with being able to feel the fat you are packing on and seeing the grease you're about to ingest drip off your food. It just doesn't seem right. TL;DR - If you like bland burgers, or if you prefer adding salt rather than having it cooked in, then this is the place for you. Otherwise you might as well save a few bucks and go to McDonald's. Actual conversation yesterday: My wife: "Do you use salt when you cook your burgers?" Cashier: "No." Me: "Can you?" Cashier: "No." And that was the end of the love affair. No wonder Five Guys' burgers are kind of bland. Any restaurant that doesn't season it's meat isn't worth its salt (insert rimshot). I can understand if salt isn't part of your recipe. This Five guys makes an okay burger in my opinion. The biggest issue I have with their burgers is that they tend to be too greasy for my liking. It's greasier than your average burger which isn't something I tend to like. Their fries are great and always really yummy. I use malt vinegar on mine and even got my friends hooked on using it too. The burger itself is usually good minus the greasy burger patties. This five guys can get busy but I've never seen it packed. The employees usually work quickly and have your order out within a reasonable timeframe. The star of my meal was their salted caramel shake. I am a huge fan of caramel and love anything that is salted caramel. So I decided to steer away from my usual (cookies and cream) and order the salted caramel. It was delicious, it wasn't too sweet or salty. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone who likes caramel! Overall, this Five Guys is okay as far as the burgers go. It's not an amazing burger but it's not a terrible burger either. The employees here are usually very nice and the restaurant is kept clean. read more

Bring a jacket, its always super cold! Its an OK burger joint. The burgers are a good size and always made well done (incase you like med rare burgers). Usually the little cheeseburger (1 patty) is perfect me for me. I like to add grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, lettuce and Jalapenos in it. The bun is soft and its not suuuper greasy but ya know, its a burger - can't expect like you're eating a salad. The Cajun fries are really crunchy and I usually ask for extra cajun seasoning on it. If they aren't, they will be happy to make a new batch for you. There are open containers for peanuts in all locations so beware if you have a high allergic reaction to Peanuts. Nice people! Super quick as well - when the lines are longer...its a tad bit of a wait. read more

All the Five Guys I visit are busy, this one especially since it is smack dab in the middle of Waterford Lakes Town Center. On the weekends it could be hard to find a parking spot. The place always has peanut shells all over the floor, but that's the norm. Occasionally, an employee will be in the dining room sweeping up, but feel free to toss those casings anywhere. The burgers are hot and juicy and the fries melt in my mouth. It's always good to dip in the condiments. I always add malt vinegar to my ketchup, then dunk my fries in that mixture, then dip it in a side of the Cajun seasoning (I ask for a side of it). They also serve milkshakes at this location. The toppings are unlimited, so pack it up with goodies!! I love putting bacon in it! There are so many combinations you can make, so be creative with it! My last visit, the staff didn't seem to enthusiastic and the shift leader was so focused on the orders, they didn't interact as much as they do at the other locations, but it was still a decent environment. read more

You normally go to Five Guys for big and juicy burgers, free peanuts, and a fun atmosphere. Tonight we had another good reason. The store donated 10% to the Lacrosse Team of UHS.
