Chick-Fil-A on University is great! There is a lot of seating in this specific store (probably planned that way given this location's proximity to UCF and the ensuing post-football game nights). The counter staff was very sweet, and knowledgeable of their menu, and they walk your order straight to your table once it's ready, so you don't have to wait around at the counter. Let me start this review off by saying that I am not one who embraces Chick-fil-A as the be-all, end-all of fast food. It is not that I have anything against this business, in fact I think it offers a solid product with Incredible customer service, it is just that I have never fully understood the complete devotion and love of their food. I really like the this location since it was remodeled, the design is modern, it's spacious and very lit compared to other chick-fil-a. I like that that it has plenty of space, love the UCF decor. If I know we are going there, I'll slice onions at home and bring them with me. The bite & heat of an onion just adds to the already deliciousness of Chick Fila. With that said, note it's a pain to get in and out of. If you are coming Westbound on University, you will need to do a U Turn on Rouse, if you are leaving and needing to go Westbound you have to either do a U Turn on University or drive through the parking lot to get to Rouse and then turn right there. read more

At this Chick-fil-A on a day that is not slammed, staff members ask people if they want their drinks refilled. WHO DOES THAT AT A FAST FOOD PLACE? Not any other national chains I know of and I'm certainly not complaining. These staff member are trained so well by management its unbelievable. I'm always asked, "is everything alright?" and my answer is, "YES, its fabulous!". (FYI - the refill and them checking up on me is always while i'm sitting down - just like if it was a 'real' restaurant!) At this store in particular, there is this one lady that can really brighten anyones day. I don't know her name for sure but she is part of the marketing team. She really is awesome and looks like shes really enjoying her self. There is also fresh flowers everywhere! On Every. Single. Table! It helps creates this homey feel. Cons: - The phrase "My Pleasure" is way over used and very insincere, especially when the tone of voice doesn't necessarily match the words. I heard it six times within thirty minutes, it's as if no one actually cares and that there's a sniper in the back room aiming for any employee that doesn't say those two words in response to everything. - The lobby area in front of the cashiers should have an area for guests to stand in a structured queue line rather than leaving that space completely empty and forming a line in a space further away where guests are eating. This is a consistent and ongoing issue at this location only, every other location has an actual queueing area. No one wants to eat with people standing over them, and no one wants to wait in line watching other people eat. - Staff should assist large parties with moving tables so that they don't create a fire hazard with tables blocking the route to the nearest exit. - This location has some service issues, in the time that I've been sitting here writing this review, no one even offered a beverage refill or to take my tray away. I hold this location to very high standards. One of the reasons being, I worked here as a teenager under Charlie Fish, for years, as a manager. Ever since new management/owner took over, it's gone to the dumps. Chick Fil A is KNOWN as that place where they NEVER get the order wrong. This location gets it wrong EVERY time. Chick fil a is also known for great customer service. The kids working now have the personality of a cardboard box and are rude. Every time I pull up to order or am in the middle of ordering they are checking their phones or texting, then ask me to repeat myself. Bending over and paying $30 for a lunch should at least come bare minimum customer service. I was very pleased this time with my egg white grilled chicken sandwich from this Chick-fil-a. Usually the egg on this sandwich is very small and greasy (it had only been this way at this specific Chick-fil-a). Yesterday my experience was much better! I also had a vanilla iced coffee and hash-browns. The coffee was better than normal as well. I usually go to the one in Oviedo because their drive through is faster but this one is on my way to work so I tend to come here sometimes. This chicken fillet was on point! In a busy area but service was fast. I waited longer in line than I had to for my food to come up. Which is really great when you only have a 30min lunch and it takes 10 mins to stop at the same light 3 times just to cross the street. Chicken fillet always ask for your name. As with most Chick-fil-A restaurants, everyone is pleasant but I favor this location not because it's on my daily route but they go above and beyond every time I visit! Unfortunately, I have a special order because of my diet and never have I been told I can't get it here. I have visited other restaurants and they not couldn't do it... but wouldn't make the special request. Also, they put the french vanilla creamer in my coffee for me, make it easy to enjoy my coffee on the road. They also support the local high school and have fundraisers regularly. This is my usual Chick-fil-A go to spot. What can I say other than if you haven't had the food, you must. It's a weekly dinner or breakfast. My problem tonight is the first time I've had a bad experience. First the person taking the order was stuck in overdrive trying to get through to the next car. Then at the window my order came out wrong as I could tell me there was a small drink in the carrier. Otherwise I wouldn't have even checked. Now I will say they quickly fixed their mistake and didn't even charge me for what they forgot to ring up. They do stand behind the customer service excellence. I won't let this one experience damper my Chick-fil-A cravings as I will go back. They're friendly and go the extra route for anything that is needed. Food is A+ for a fast food joint. This is one of my favorite Chick-fil-a locations and although it is in a college centered area it's not always as crowded around later evening times. I've always received speedy and accurate service from this location especially today as soon as we walked in the door our server Wendell was smiling and ready to set his task aside and take our order! Their spicy grilled deluxe and classic nuggets are some of one of my favorite items to purchase.
