I buy the regular barbecue sauce by the bottle at my local grocery store however I've never had the Polynesian and they have it at the same store so I figure a couple little packets to make sure I like it. Place was nice and clean, the men's room was out of paper towels however I told the guy behind the counter and he immediately went back there and fixed it so that's a good thing. I was there at 10:00 in the morning, and I didn't have any idea that they actually serve breakfast at Chick-fil-A. I get up at 1:00 in the morning so at 10:00 a.m. I'm ready for lunch anyways, so I ordered a chicken sandwich. Wasn't until they actually had it made for me before I realized, when I saw the sign, that they serve breakfast until 10:30. I'm bringing this up because I have been at a McDonald's for example in the past and tried to order a fish fillet at 9:30 a.m. while breakfast was still going on and they wouldn't do it. I don't know if that is still a thing or not however chick-fil-A apparently it isn't because I was able to score lunch during the breakfast hours. Of course not knowing that they actually serve breakfast I have to go back now and try a couple sandwiches. But anyway overall a good experience, I didn't read any other reviews on this particular location to figure out why they've only got less than three stars however as far as I'm concerned everything was good. I told him I wanted a steak sub, plain with only lettuce. He told me to wait a moment and went to get another employee. A young woman then came out and asked what my order was, so I explained again that I wanted a plain steak sub with lettuce. I then told the young man I wanted another cold sub. While looking at the menu, I saw that they offered chicken salad, so I ordered a chicken salad sub. After that, I told him I also wanted a turkey sub. He responded, "Is this your last sub?" I told him yes. While my last sub was being made, I noticed the young woman wrapping my steak sub without lettuce. I politely told her that I had asked for lettuce. She stopped, gave me a blank stare, rolled her eyes, and did not respond. At that point, it was around 8:50 p.m. I asked the young man if they were about to close, and he said they closed at 9. I told him I could tell they were trying to leave because of the customer service I was receiving. I explained that I come to this location regularly, have always received excellent customer service, and had never experienced anything like this. He told me they had things to do after work and that he was trying to get out of there. I explained that the restaurant was still open and that customers should not be rushed or made to feel like an inconvenience for ordering before the posted closing time. If there is a cutoff for taking orders, it should be clearly communicated. The situation then escalated. He told me he did not have to serve me my food, refused to give me my order that was already made and told me to leave. I asked why because I had not cursed, raised my voice, threatened anyone, or been disrespectful. I simply questioned why I was being treated this way.I asked for his name he was mot wearing a name badge and he refused to give me it. He then told me that if I did not leave, I would be considered trespassing and that he would call the police. He ultimately called the police in front of my children, refused to serve my food, and I had to leave. Jersey Mike's has cameras inside the establishment, and I strongly encourage management to review the footage from the moment I walked in until the police were called. The cameras should show exactly what occurred. I am a Webster resident and know that Evan Myers and his Jersey Mike's franchise do a lot for the community. That is why I sincerely hope this interaction does not represent how customers who do not look like the employees are treated. As a Black customer, I am deeply concerned about whether race played a role in how I was treated. This is also personal to me because I worked at a sub shop when I was younger--Bella's--and we understood that customers deserved respect until closing time. We never rushed customers, rolled our eyes at them, or treated them poorly because they came in before closing. I am extremely disappointed that a simple dinner order escalated to having the police called in front of my children. I am asking management to review the footage, speak with the employees involved, and explain why my order was refused while the restaurant was still open. Then it came to me and she, again was short and when I asked a question she said "can't you see it right there?" My wife asked to see the manager down toward the register and she kept on "chirping". I looked at her, put my finger over my mouth and said this doesn't concern you. This was when she raised her voice and said "I'll say whatever I want you can just leave! I get paid anyway." My response: "Exactly your problem" We took her advice and now the four of us walked out. People around saw this interaction and had weird looks on their face. The woman is awful and should NEVER work with customers. Entitled and pompous. There is NO WAY that this is her first interaction like this and I blame management. The place needs to elevate their standards for who they hire and the environment they expect their customers to experience. She needs to go!

They were mostly invested in a group conversation that they were having. We received the food and proceeded to find that there were no forks available. I asked for two forks and the staff member seemed a little annoyed with me... and was kind of snippy about me inadvertently standing in front of the cupboard where they were stored. The restaurant dining area was, to say the least disheveled. Napkins on the floor, cups left on tables and the majority of the tables not wiped down. Understandable during prime times but not with better than half the staff just hanging out and only a few other customers in the store. Finally, while I realize that every business is trying to do more with less, the portions were truly skimpy. I'd be surprised if there was more than an ounce of chicken on the salad. Much less than I typically see at other restaurants. Indifferent staff, a slovenly dining area, under supplied and miniscule portions. Sorry to say that this resty has jumped the shark.
