I've had this place bookmarked to try for months and finally had it today. It did not disappoint! Shoestring fries with just the right amount of seasoning/perfect crispy freshness and a large pressed cubano was my lunch. The ladies running the show were friendly and helpful. When I say this Cuban was Stupid Good, this is what I mean: have you ever eaten something so good you involuntarily make noises that sound like awesome bedroom stuff is happening? Yeah?! Embarrassing. Who cares though cus it's so damn good! 10 out of 10. I'm coming back sooner than I should. Don't skip this place. The ONLY thing I'd recommend that could possibly make this place better? Seed oil free mayo/cooking oil, etc and beef tallow fries! Many of their sandwiches can be served as a "protein bowl" so we opted to do that with their Philly Steak. You cannot do that with all of their sandwiches, which we learned after a slightly awkward back and forth between us, the cashier, and the chef. But we landed on something that was satisfactory and both the chef and the cashier expressed care that my son and I were happy with our choice. The place is a little small and indoor seating is limited, so keep that on your radar. But the food was fantastic and both my son and I resolved that we need to go back and try other options on the menu.

I walk with a cane & I had brought my dog. I rather doubt I'll be back. I'd rather go any of the other WEC restaurants where the staff is gracious to the level of Disney gracious. I felt all the staff sort of walked around her and gave her a wide berth and frankly all looked nervous. Is there a tyrant there? Layout: is odd! Condiments are on the far right end of the counter, yet the utensils and beverages are on the opposite wall. The girl who took my order said nothing about that. I was surprised to get a burger with no condiments on it. I ordered coffee and they give you a cup and it's self-service, which is perfectly fine, but the tea and coffee were not labeled or if they are, then it's up over 5 feet, I tipped 18%, not my usual 20%*, as it's counter service. I assume that's divided up, as the staff cleaning tables were quick & efficient, as well as pleasant. Maybe blond girl was having a bad day, but if that's the case - don't share it. I was there on June 4th, 2026. Since this is not a chain fast food restaurant and they apparently don't put condiments on the burgers, I think having them on the table would be better. Worst service in Ocala all due to one girl.

My Mom and I split a sandwich - Ham and Turkey, cheese, lettuce, onions, mayo and oil and vinegar on fresh bread. Yeah, if I DID live here, I know where I'd get a sandwich. Fresh produce, great sandwiches, fast and friendly service with pretty good prices. You could do a LOT worse than going here. Perhaps it was turkey bacon or vegetarian bacon, either way I wasn't informed that the bacon would be some weird facsimile of bacon. Surprised the lady behind the counter didn't try to convince me to change my choice of meat. We'll probably go back for breakfast but will definitely avoid ordering that strange bacon.
