I took a look in the back, and saw the young kid making my low-carb whopper. I know it was mine because he was building it in an actual platter, not to be thrown in a box. We had been driving for 11 hours, this was last Tuesday, the 2nd of June, and we just wanted to grab something quick and finish the 3 hours we had left. We walked in the restaurant and noticed every table was dirty, this was around 7 pm and there were maybe two customers in the store. We placed our order with a nice guy, who seemed really distracted. He kept looking over at his co-worker and then asking us to repeat our order. We finally got the order in, cleaned our own table and sat down. Then we watched all four employees we could see split up into twos and head outside to smoke, in pairs. Two of them were outside one door, and two outside the other. They stood there right next to each door for a really long time- one of them was sitting on the railing on the drive through side. Customers started coming in and had to walk through a gauntlet of smoke and none of the employees seemed willing to help anyone until they were done smoking, so there was a line of about 5 people who just had to wait. The cooks in the back were doing a good job because our burgers tasted good, but this location really needs to shake up the front of the house staff because their performance is completely unacceptable. If we had showed up and had to walk through all that smoke, we would have turned around and left.
