I had heard that the walleye was EXCELLANT and only available during Lent. Not so much The fish was not as big as you see in the advertisements orrrrrrrr the ordered extra large buns. The first taste was very fishy and there was hardly any tartar sauce on it. I had to ask for more and the lady didn't like my asking. I upgraded to onion rings and as before when I ordered them was waaaaytyyyyy overcooked. So disappointing and I really need to rethink going to Culver's for something other than custard. read more

I'm a big fan of Culvers. But the last two times I've been very disappointed in the service. The food is still great, but the service has just fallen way off. There is certainly no "hustle " by any of the employees and for some of the employees the customer seems like an inconvenience. A few days ago my online order was supposed to be ready ay 6:30. I arrived at 6:25 and waited. While I waited for another 25 minutes, i watched a hamburger that was in the window and ready to be served sit there for 16 minutes. Husband and I visited 6/13/26 and this is our favorite Culver's. But could you use a bigger bun for your chicken sandwiches? The buns disappear under the chicken! My husband wanted the advertised chicken noodle soup but our guy couldn't find it on his register(there was a whole pan of it behind him) so Denny got chili instead! And you CHARGE $.85 for sprinkles and $1.30 for cashews(I ordered pecans and didn't get that either)!!!! WTH? Like paying $5.09 for a mini isn't enough?? And please train your staff better on the registers before you leave them alone! Our little guy was friendly but wasn't very adept at it. My first visit to Culver's. Entering the building I noticed that it was very clean and nicely set up. I ordered a value basket ... cheeseburger, crinkle cut French fries, and a soft drink. Later in the day while speaking with someone I mentioned my lunch and when I told them what my meal was the response was those hamburgers are flat and dry you need to order a double. My hamburger was flat and kind of dry. Ketchup was added to offset the dryness. The hamburger wasn't awful but not something that I would run back for. The fries were ordered well done and were nice and crispy. Diet root beer was the drink of my visit. On the dispenser it was branded Culver's ... very tasty, After ordering your meal you are given a number to place on your table and your order is brought to the table. Overall a good experience and I would try it again but maybe order a double burger next time. read more

How could this place be rated the best and by who? Our burgers, my father's, my mothers, and mine were the worst we have ever had ANYWHERE! They were paper thin and burnt to a crisp, the fries were hot but they were still soft and not done the inside! We were three people of a party of six and my mothers hamburger was forgotten! I just had the worst experience in their drive thru. I was in that line that was not moving, for 30 minutes. When I was at the head of the line and saw the car two places behind me get their food... As fast food goes, compared to places like Wendy's, McDonald's etc, this is really good. We've been there a few times. The service is friendly and our orders are always accurate. They also do gluten free buns - Yay! - which are a great texture and not dried out like a lot of GF buns. We really enjoyed the burgers, fries and cheese curds. It's not "fast" food, so when you order they put a post it not on your side mirror with your number on it. Then you pull all the way forward and they bring your food out when it's ready. It's still pretty fast - I think we usually only wait about 5 minutes - definitely less than 10. They're also known for their frozen custard and treats but we haven't had a chance to try those out yet and they feature a special flavor every day which is on their sign out front. The Burger was decent but the bacon was way undercooked so I have to give them 3 stars. The fries were good though! They had a LOT of employees but not everyone was doing their job. Most stood around talking which shouldn't have been the case since their dining room needed attention. Both napkin dispensers were empty and nobody bothered to refill them. We have eaten here a number of times and we keep going back because it is not just a fast food p;ace, but a food place that does fairly fast food in a tasty and friendly way. Eating here on a current Friday evening, I had the fish dinner and my wife had a fish sandwich. Yes, we waited a short time for food delivery, but not any where as long as a sit down restaurant. They had adequate stajffing, and everyone, and I mean everyone of the employees was busy, keeping the place neat and clean, delivering food to the patrons, letting customers know that they were appreciated welcoming customers as they came in, having the cashiers seem really happy that you were eating at their restaurant, and delivery people thinking you for coming as asking if anything else is needed or missing. Other restaurants should utilize their staff training manual. read more

Great sense of humor by employees working New Year's Eve night. We were staying at the nearby Home2Suites. After a long and trying day, I was starving. Now the last time I got 'fast food' was probably three years ago when I moved from a western state to Florida, and that experience reminded me why fast food is better avoided: greasy, salty, and leads to burps. Culver's is different: I'm a devotee now! I got two singles with cheese and they were delightful: thin but juicy and tender meat that balances well with the pillowy bun, creamy American cheese, and ripe, flavorful tomato. Perfect amount of sauce coupled with tangy pickles and crunchy lettuce...probably the best burger I've had in a good long while. The french fries were crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of salty--not so much that it coats your fingers but enough that it tingles the tastebuds. Then the frozen custard...oh mah gawd, luscious velvety deliciousness. Yeah, a devotee for sure, and I'm hunting up an excuse to go back. Nice job, Culver's! read more
