Coming from Southern California, the burgers esp the cheese burger and patty melt are the best for me. I love the chili cheese fries as well. Service was also amazing. The cheeseburgers were delicious. You can taste the difference from fast food to these homemade "smashed" burgers. The burgers had lots of flavor to them and cooked to perfection. You can request whatever condiments you want, so it comes just the way you like. We shared a side of fries and they were good, a little better than average. Next time I will try the tots. Of course had to have a root beer and it was very good. The diner is small but very clean. You order at the counter. They give you a number but they brought out the drinks and food to us. Delicious burgers. They are "Smashburgers" which are small, so you can order yours as a single patty, double, or even a triple. We had doubles, which were just right. We will definitely return for more. The restaurant was clean as was the restroom. They have their own off street parking. read more

If you're looking for a great mom and pop place for a good ol' classic burger look no further! Ordered mine to-go and everything was exact. These burgers remind me of smash burger when you talked about the thickness of burger meat to sandwich. Which is fine by my husband and I! He got a triple and I got a double. Which in comparison he would get a double elsewhere and I would get a single. Onion rings were yum! And I even got my Cheer Wine I crave from time to time. This is a diner where you order at the counter and the meal is brought out to you. We had burgers, fries and drinks. Each burger patty is 2 oz. So I had a triple with cheese and large fries. Large meant "really large" fries. They were fresh, hot and plentiful. They are the "skinny" type of fry. Burger was hot and fresh with all normal condiments. Tasted great. Since the burgers are thin, they are mostly well done. All tasted good and service was good. Great hamburger stand food. Yes-I would recommend. Burger was good. But I would NOT go there if you have a shellfish allergy because they will not accommodate for you. Only thing you can have there is a burger but no fries or any side. Or a hotdog. A little off the main road so keep a close watch if you're not using GPS. They make their own root beer and it's very good. The hamburgers are freshly made smash burgers, thin and crispy on the edges. You get them stacked as high as you want. Extra toppings are available but the regular toppings of mayo, mustard, catsup, pickles, onions and lettuce are plenty for me. They also serve hot dogs grilled or fried. French fries are fresh made and thin cut like McD. I haven't tried any of the other menu items yet but definitely will when I return. Service is quick and friendly. Currently it's a cash only business so I have to say that up front. I knew in advance and was prepared. It's a small place with great food. You walk up and place your order and they bring it to you after paying at the register. One very amazing thing about this place is... they make their own root beer!!! You heard me! I don't do soda a lot but you need to get the bottomless root beer. You'll thank me later. I always get the grilled hot dogs which they split down center to grill. They also have amazing onion rings too. You won't find many health conscious foods but that's not why you'd go there.
