We were in the area and took a chance to eat here. The parking lot was full so we figured this was a good decision. Boy were we right! Large menu, daily specials and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious. We were with our grandkids who had a pig pancake (cute and good) and grilled cheese. My husband had a burger and I had the egg skillet. The skillet was amazing! Had leftovers. This is such an amazing restaurant, hidden gem so to speak. It has such great ambience taking you back to the 50s and 60s. The waitresses are all amazing and never forget you're there. Food is generally always amazing and they will accommodate you in almost anyway, if they are able to. I am a coffee snob so I am not really a fan of their coffee, but my sister likes it. I've only been for breakfast, but they do serve lunch. I just have never been there for lunch. I would highly recommend this little throwback to yesterday place. You won't be disappointed! read more

There was great Elvis memorabilia throughout the diner. The menu had a large variety of breakfast foods to choose from. We had the banana pancakes, a waffle, and two eggs over medium with crispy bacon. This is a family friendly establishment. We sat next to a couple with their great granddaughter. They were die hards who had been coming here for years. You will have the average wait for your food. We had the fried green tomatoes. It was nice to have this on the menu. It was nostalgic for me. My buddy John and I found this hidden GEM on the way to Homosassa 6/7/21 and what a great lunch we had....First of all, thank you Christine for the great and friendly service you provided..... This place serves home style cooking at it's best.... We've driven by here many times but never stopped in until the other day. This is a cute little diner with a 50s motif. We stopped in on a Sunday early afternoon and the place was pretty full but a table was available right away. The service was good, staff is attentive and cheerful. As we spoke with the server we found out that this diner is the same owner as the Hen House in Inverness. We've been there a few times and enjoyed their breakfast so we knew we would enjoy this meal as well. And we did - I only had hotcakes and bacon but they were tasty.
