Hummingbird cake
Sean M.

OMG!' Love this place! We just had coffee and desserts, but will absolutely be back. Our server was new, but such a sweetheart kid. She was attentive but gave us enough space. We sat the "the cubbyhole" area with a great street view and a view of the shop. The pumpkin pecan cake was rich, flavorful, and moist. Delicious! The hummingbird cake was the same but bursting with pineapple and coconut flavors!

Cobb salad with inedible frozen chicken

This place was unfortunately not good. From the watery chicken which we thought was canned but the staff clarified was actually frozen to the inedible truffles, this stop was very disappointing for us. We got simple dishes - the cobb salad, which the menu indicated had chopped grilled chicken on it, Tuscan hummus which the menu said had an olive tapenade, and a triple decker sandwich. As I alluded to, the chicken most certainly was not grilled or chopped. It was a watery tasteless dollop of presumably chicken. It was terrible. And to think that they are charging $4 for chicken if you want to add it to a salad or sandwich. The "olive tampenade" was just sliced black olives. Herbs and olive oil were topping the hummus. For dessert, we got a slice of the key lime cake, a German chocolate cake truffle, a grizzle which had chocolate with caramel and pecans, and a pecan cream pie truffle. The truffles looked a little old in the case and we should've taken the hint. The chocolate had that white appearance that suggested that it had been sitting there for a while (see pics). The truffles were unable to be eaten. I took a bite and took it out. They had a very odd taste and they were stale, primarily the nuts. The only saving grace about this $80 meal (!) was the key lime cake. It was moist and flavorful and the cream cheese icing was so good! This is the only thing that we should gotten at this place. The patio was also cute. Two stars for the key lime cake and the patio. Thanks also to our servers who reimbursed me $4 for the chicken as they knowingly and truthfully shared that they didn't cook it there.

I haven't been here in quite a while...went with a group of friends..they had tables all set up for us when we arrived...service was quick and efficient...I ordered the Chicken Salad on a Croissant, it was served with a bag of Chips...also ordered a Lemonade and a oiece of Key Lime Cake to go...I have had this cake many times and it is a winner...this is a great little place with a little shop inside with clothing and things for your house...

Hummingbird cake was so moist and delicious. Large portion too!

Grabbing a quick bite before our beach day on the springs. OMG this food is so good! So fresh with unique choices. I started with the crab bisque. It was delicious. a very unique flavor. Kind of sweet. Then I had the Tomato, basil and bacon wrap with Mayo. Amazing! I thought the combination sounded strange but it was so good. One of the best things I have eaten from anywhere in a while. So good !!! Deb had the Egg & Olive. Pretty tasty as well. Interesting flavors. We finished with a slice of humming bird cake and a lemon cookie. Both were fresh and delicious. The slice of cake was huge. Took us a few days to finish ! Solid stop with great service and great food! Stop in...you will not be disappointed

However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.

I would not consider it high-end dining, there were two of us for lunch. We shared a tappa which consisted of three meatballs. We both ordered a larger plate of Solomillo, one steak and one pork. And we both ordered a dessert to share and they were very underwhelming. My issues with the drinks. We ordered espresso martinis, which were not on the menu like many of the other cocktails you could order. The surprise came with the bill. We both had two martinis they were $21 apiece so the four martinis came to $84. I was shocked because the most I've ever spent for a martini in Orlando area and a very high-end restaurant was $18. I guess we should've ordered the sangria with red wine and Brandy for $12.

Every recommendation was spot on. We shared the chicken pintxos, potato tortilla, and Margherita pizza, and everything was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The service was prompt, attentive, and made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. My wife really enjoyed the Albariño white wine, and my Spanish Old Fashioned was excellent. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and drinks here. We wrapped up the night with the dulce de leche cheesecake and mascarpone ice cream, and honestly, it was to die for. My wife rarely eats dessert, but she devoured her half almost immediately. Great atmosphere, flavorful food, excellent drinks, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back.

Replaying last night's dinner in my head has me planning my next visit to Superette. Sunday brunch this weekend is calling my name. Oh,'one more thing, Superette is also the place to go where you will only run into the people you like. The folks you don't care for are not going to be there. Just my observation.

The sweet potato soup had a puréed, baby‑food texture, but the flavor itself was surprisingly rich and comforting. The star for me was the Tunisian casse‑croûte. The flavors were incredible; the albacore was tender and seasoned just right, the salata mechouia added this smoky, roasted pepper depth, and the pickled egg brought the perfect tangy brightness. The arugula gave it a fresh, peppery lift, and the harissa aioli tied everything together with a warm, subtle heat. The fries on top added the best crunchy contrast. Every bite was layered, bold, and so satisfying.

Was just finishing up a stroll through the large local Market of Marion and wanted a place to sit…read moreand enjoy a beverage and a meal with friends and family. We found this spot when I searched for Shrimp Po Boy lunch and it looked very interesting. We drove over which was only about 8 minutes away from the market so very convenient to the market. Lots of parking so it was pretty easy to find a spot despite it being very busy. 28 beers on tap! So you can definitely find something you will enjoy if you're a fan of beer. The menu is large with lots of options and reminds me of a higher class of bar food. We started with a larger soft fresh baked pretzel that was plenty to share with our group of 3, it came with a really good beer cheese and some honey mustard dipping sauce. Really liked the pretzel and the dipping sauces found myself eating and dipping as I sipped on my chocolate coffee stout in a fun 10oz glass that made it very refreshing. We ordered our entrees as the music started back up and while the music was good it was so loud we could no longer have a conversation at our table without shouting so it would have been great if the volume was a bit lower since this was Sunday lunch not Friday night beers. The food arrived in stages as it is served as it became ready from the kitchen. First out was the blackened fish tacos my mom ordered. She said they were good but not spectacular, she ate just the fish out of one and took the rest home. Next out was our friend's bang bang shrimp and they looked amazing. The presentation was very nice and he offered one of them for me to try. Very crunchy batter and delicious sauce however it overwhelmed the shrimp and you could not taste them, which depending on how much you like shrimp could be a good thing or not. Next out was my shrimp po boy and why it looked good the ratio of shrimp to bread was way off. 3 maybe four whole shrimp to a huge bun. The shrimp were the same style as the bang bang shrimp just a different sauce. While the sandwich was good I basically took a few bites to get the whole experience and then just ate the few small bits of shrimp and left the bun. Maybe if I had not eaten the pretzel I would have liked all the bread as it did taste good but definitely not enough shrimp for its size. The chickpea salad was definitely the star of the entree as it had so much flavor and was amazing. Service was great and they were very attentive and offered samples of the beers if we wanted to try them. Highly recommended for beers and snacks but not sure I would recommend the seafood. I would like to go back and try the pizza and a few more beers!
