Cali Toast Breakfast

Lovely friendly staff, quick service, dog friendly, tasty breakfast sandwiches, tasty lattes, lots of coffee essentials, cool branding, bright sheik ambience in historic setting, amazing pastries

Great pastry options, dog friendly, coffee is good, not super strong but good. They're always willing to get your dog a bowl of water and bring out your food if you sit outside, front porch is awesome to sit and work or relax and people watch.

I had to come here since we actually own a cattle dog (blue heeler) and we also love cofffee. Since we already had coffee twice that day, we got a strawberry frozen drink which was very good. The chocolate chip cookie was also good. They have a shelf full of awesome K cups you can choose from and they are $1 per pod. We got a full 12 pack. I liked all the interesting flavors they had. Customer service was solid as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Anytime we are in Crystal River we stop here for some delicious coffee. I love the seasonal drink options they come up with. They also have great food and treats. Cute atmosphere with great service.

Such a cute coffee shop & the iced coffee was delicious/ some of the best I've ever had! The prices were very cheap too!

Quaint coffee shop. Excellent find. Very busy and customer oriented. Employees seem to enjoy working here! Lively chatter between each other and to the customers The make their own KPods so you can get whole beans, ground or pods. A wide variety of flavored coffees available. We had the land and sea toast with smoked salmon, tomatoes, runny egg...balsamic drizzle... Perfect start of the day. This will be a regular stop!!

We stopped in after an early morning swim and were pleasantly surprised by their food selection. We've found sometimes in Florida you cannot get both espresso coffee drinks and food at the same establishment, so this was a huge bonus! The steak & mushroom and the turkey pesto breakfast paninis were both very hearty, and our iced mochas weren't too sweet. Staff was very friendly and engaging.

I was looking for breakfast in the area that had good food but wasn't a full service sit down establishment because I was on a time crunch. I came across this coffee shop and i'm so glad I did. First the restaurant is very cute. There's a nice outside porch with tables and chairs for eating and the inside is nicely decorated. I got the iced chai and it was made perfectly, I was very happy. For breakfast, I got the Apple Butter toast and it was to die for. I mean really it was one of the best breakfast toasts i've ever had. When I finished my first I immediately wanted a second. I also got the cinnamon bun to share with my friend and it was also amazing. It was the perfect amount of sweet. Overall, it was really such a good experience and I will most definitely be coming back while I'm in town. I wish I had one of these in Jersey so I could have a good breakfast everyday!

Great local coffee spot!! We swing by here when they opened first thing before our tour and were pleasantly surprised by this adorable place. They have adorable sitting areas, both inside and out. That have a great selection of unique teas, local honey and coffees. They also have a nice breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered the berrylicious latte, which tasted like a crunch berry. It was so good! I also got a slice of their blueberry loaf bread. It was a little frozen, but otherwise delicious.

A good local coffee store! It gets quite busy, so anticipate a 10-15 minute wait minimum. We tried the frozen chai tea latte and the frozen strawberry lemonade, which were just okay. The flavors were too mild and they added too much ice, which watered down the drinks. I recommend trying the hot coffee and the variety of beans.

I followed the directions and hours as provided on Yelp, but the coffee house was not open when we arrived.

Amazing. Spectacular. We've been talking about this place the entire weekend…read more We stumbled across Biscuit barn as hungry tourist. We were immediately greeted with a warm "hello" by a lovely waitress who put us on a 15 minute waitlist. About 10ish minutes goes by and my name was called, the place was very busy and the staff appear very attentive like they were pros at handling a little chaos. My boyfriend ordered the chicken co-op and I ordered the country eggs Benedict. These were some of the best biscuits we've ever had. This is a no frills kinda place but delicious. For 2 extremely full breakfast, a side of corn beef hash and 2 iced coffees (they even put ice on the side for us) with tip the meal was $43 and we took home half of our plates.

The grits and biscuits were delicious. The biscuits were golden brown, soft on the inside, and perfectly paired with the sausage gravy. The grits were also very well made, and perfect in the bowl! Three complaints: (1) parking was limited but definitely of size for the seats available in the restaurant; (2) the coffee was WAY too strong, bitter, and lacking normal coffee notes; and (3) they added a restaurant fee on the ticket. Still, we'd go again!

The Bagel Bakery offer a nice variety of bagels, along with other baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, coffees, and plenty of cream cheeses. Their bagels are made fresh throughout the morning. I would recommend going earlier in the day in order to have the best, freshest variety before they sell out. The workers are some of the nicest people. They are all super helpful and very friendly. When it came to ordering, they were extremely helpful and patient. Ordering is really easy and the staff does an amazing job handling customers. Service is just 10/10! The inside is welcoming and comfortable. With a decent amount of seating option, both inside and out, it is a great place to go with friends. I ended up ordering a toasted bacon-cheddar bagel with spinach & artichoke cream cheese. The bagel was phenomenal, I have absolutely no complaints. Super soft and fresh, the texture was wonderful. I wouldn't consider this a New York styled bagel, but it was still better than any of the other bagels I've had in Gainesville. The bagel had real bacon on it, which made all the difference in the bacon flavor. The cheddar was sharp, but not overpowering. The spinach-artichoke cream cheese was like nothing I'd had before. With actual pieces of artichokes in it, it was perfection. The texture of the cream cheese was also nice. Not too thick, but necessary whipped, I thoroughly enjoyed it! While I was checking out their cookies caught my eye and I added a chocolate chip one to my order. The cashier offered me a free day old cookie from the previous that they couldn't sell. This was very generous and appreciated! The chocolate cookies were very good. I appreciated the different chunks of chocolate in the cookie. The base of the cookie had a good buttery, brown sugar taste...delicious! The free, day-old cookie obviously wasn't as fresh as the ladder, but still good nonetheless. The cookies were so satisfying I actually came back to order another one. I ordered the lemon blueberry one and the cashier, once again, offered me another free cookie. The lemon-blueberry cookie was also amazing. Buttery, with a tangy lemon flavor, the cookie was really moist. The other free cookie I got was a caramel chip one. This was more of a crunchy cookie with chunks of caramelized caramel pieces and white chocolate chips. You really can't go wrong with any of the baked good here. I do appreciate the fact that they prioritize selling fresh baked goods each day! Overall, I was blown away with the Bagel Bakery. Honestly I'm kicking myself because I haven't come here sooner. The bagels are extremely fresh, with a great variety, and the perfect texture. The cream cheeses are great as well and have a nice consistency. Everything had so much flavor here. I think that is proof they use good ingredients and take pride in their craft. All the cookies I tried were amazing and shouldn't be missed either. The service is above and beyond. Really made the whole experience even better. This place feels like a local place and they treat their customers so well. Next time I come I will have to try more of their bagels (obviously), but also try some of their other baked goods too! It is safe to say I will be returning. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here over any other bagel place in the area.
