Pan con tortilla(omelette sandwich)
Richie K.

Whilst visiting the local DMV my daughter and I stopped in to grab breakfast. From the outside it just says "Bakery", but step inside and you are transported to a Cuban bakery in Miami! I ordered their omelette sandwich and a cortadito. My daughter order toasted Cuban bread , and ham croquettes.(She's a bit of connoisseur) The cortadito was on point and just what the doctor ordered! Oh, how I have missed a good cortadito! My sandwich was made to order and it came out pipping hot! The staff is friendly and the vibe feels like being in a bakery in Miami! All walks of life visited while we were enjoying our meal. 10 out of 10 would recommend! TTFN!

Maria is a pleasure. They weren't on Yelp prior to my visit, so I put them on here. Oh my goodness! Their desserts are phenomenal! And so cheap. I couldn't believe how much a twenty dollar bill got me. The staff is hard working and nice. I recommend this place full scale.

Known as Angela's bakery. It's a little spot that has a little bit of everything. Menu is good and fairly priced, affordable. Cuban sandwich looked great but wasn't hot had cold spots in center and the bacon with my breakfast plate was not real bacon but maybe turkey bacon? It was cold stretchy and tough to chew I left most of it. Eggs over greasy. Fries good. Cuban bread and cafe con leche was great. For me personally I won't return but the place was busy and nostalgic and seems to have its share of regular customers.

Be alert this place is at an awesome location, main Highway but closed on Saturday & Sunday. The name of bakery is Angela's latin bakery. It said it was open until 3 pm on Saturday in yelp listing and the reason and rating it a 4 start. Misleading listing.

It's a new item On their menu and it was delicious

Great coffee! Their pastries and quick food was tasty as well. If I happen to drive on the I-75 I make sure to pull off here for a coffee.

And here we have another gem to add to Ocala's increasingly cool selection of places to eat…read more Located in the heart of downtown Ocala, Soleil Bakery is a gluten-free bakery offering locals and visitors alike a delicious selection of pastries both savory and sweet without the traditional gluten filled ingredients. The perfect place for a book club meet-up, or catch up with friends at any time of day, the cafe is sweetly decorated and uber cozy. I was so glad to see they were open as the few times I had visited before they were closed. With that said, I recommend to call beforehand as my understanding is that the bakery has odd hours sometimes. The staff was friendly and helped me choose a selection of goods to take home with me. I ended up with their very last snickerdoodle cookie, two spinach quiches, and their peanut butter chocolate cheesecake with an Oreo crust. Yum, yum, and yum! All of it. The quiche was particularly good and heated up well the next day keeping the center moist and fluffy while still being loaded with spinach. Sorry to say my review won't come with photos of the treats I picked up as I ran out quickly to get home in the rain. But...I guess you'll just have to go see yourself! Soleil Bakery & Social House is a must try!

After residing in Ocala for 9 months, we finally made it here. To be honest, this business was not…read moreon my list of bookmarks, nor had I even checked it out. We finally explored the square due to one of the art walk events. Since it we visited twice here on Friday evenings, we decided to have espresso. During the events in the square, the businesses usually stay open later than usual. This also means they are busy. I have yet to visit during normal business hours so I am not sure how the traffic is usually. Our first visit was just to check it out and get whatever on a spontaneous decision. I did not know they serve beer and wine so I opted for wine our first time. I picked out some French white wine, which wound up being over $20 for a tiny bottle! The staff member warned me she was unsure of the price and we were both shocked when she scanned it lol. I then switched it for a sparkling wine, which was half the price. The espresso hubs and I split was as good as it gets. We love our espressos and coffee bold and strong so we were happy. The staff member also gave me a teacher's discount, which I appreciate so much because therapists don't usually get discounts! The next time we visited, we ordered another espresso, as well as a cinnamon bun and an Andes cake. OMFG how orgasmic!! I love mint chocolate anything so I was sooooo excited! We saved it for later and it was just amazing! Hubs loves cinnamon buns and he approved as well. Both times we sat for a while, sipped our coffee, and talked. I am definitely interested in checking Soleil out when it is less busy to soak it in. The place was clean and the staff were personable and friendly. They serve a lot of vegan products and honestly, they are so good, you probably could not tell the difference which is vegan or not. They have comfy seating and it does feel very cozy in there.

I didn't know what I was in for the sandwich took me to my happy place. The price is nothing compared to the quality ingredients. The service was wonderful. I opted for the chicken salad sandwich and that chicken was not canned.. it's in the taste. I'm definitely coming back for another sandwich and bringing friends along. This is definitely a gem to just stumble across. The place reminded me of the bodegas in New Jersey and New York. Definitely recommend to stop in and the best part? There were other customers and when the sweet lady recognized them by name I was all in. I'm coming back for sure

My husband ordered a sub sandwich, my friends husband a sausage sandwich, my friend eggplant, i had spagetti marinara. The noodles were mush and cold and tasted so bad, were were afraid of food poisoning and left everything. The pastries were not refrigerated and needed be, the cookies were not from there fresh baked they were from Flora foods repackaged. I wanted to buy some ricotta cheese and the owner wanted to charge me $89.00 for two five pound container containers that cost about $15.00 each at one of the warehouses. Other than the drive, fear of food poisoning , not homemade bakery items and price gouging, we learned a good lesson. THERES NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
