Rondo's Famous Cuban Pork Dinner "The Pepin"
    Haley R.

Mojo's was such a vibe. I loved everything about the layout of the place. The atmosphere was obviously very rock and roll but it wasn't overwhelming, it was perfect. The menu made choosing what to eat so difficult because EVERYTHING looked tasty. I went with the Pepin and was so satisfied with my choice. Loved the carnitas and the sweet plantains. I've never been a huge fan of Cuban rice but my sons were and they devoured it with the beans. Our server was great and understanding of our two tired toddlers. I will absolutely be back to try some of the delicious drink offerings!

I found Mojo Grill after doing a google search. I didn't know what to expect but the picture looked good. My server was friendly from the time I walked in. I ordered the blackened red fish with veggies and black beans/rice. My food came out quickly and was steaming hot. Everything was seasoned well but I did request hot sauce to add a little kick. The portion size is good, especially for the price. The hotel I stay at when I'm in the area is less than 10 minutes from Mojo's so I will be back.

    Shrimp tacos and cheese grits

Mojo Grill has gluten free options. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about which items are or could be made GF. The shrimp tacos and cheese grits were delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

The food is delicious! I've been pleased with everything I've had there. One of the coolest atmospheres I've ever seen in a restaurant! A little pricey. The quesadilla was $17. The Hot Mess app is $14. My only complaint is the bathroom. They really need to keep it more clean. It costed a star

Had the Baja Chicken Bowl and my husband has the Crazy Cuban. The bowl had marinated chicken with grilled peppers and onions, served over black beans with rice, mixed greens with salsa - gluten free! I would tecommend.

Great food and service. I had The Pepin at my server's recommendation and was really pleased. Pork was cooked the seared with onions, and had a sauce that was perfect complement. Would definitely eat here again.

It's my first time there, I went with my husband, because we wanted to eat something different. The place is very nice and spacious. It is not a noisy place, very good to go with the family. It also has an area for groups. The waitress was very kind. Regarding the food, it arrived on time and hot. I had never tasted such delicious fish tacos, the flavors exploded in my mouth, although a bit spicy, but nothing I couldn't stand. The rice and beans were something else, the flavor was something from another world of how tasty they are. Everything was so delicious that I didn't eat the dish, because it was inedible. As for my husband, he found his food to be tasty, although the pork had some tough pieces. I would like to go back and eat those delicious fish tacos again.

First, this is a great place for a large group of people as far as space. The down side of that is that there didn't seem to be enough servers for our party of 19. Loved the food and drink selection. The decor was homey and fun. The server that did help us was doing the best she could, but the food didn't come out for a while. The dishes that did make it weren't very hot, including the beans and soups. I had a wrap, and it was enough for two meals. Some people got huge bowls of beans & rice , while others had more rice than beans. It wasn't consistent. We had a good time as a group, though, and the noise level was perfect for crowds.

Worst dining experience I've ever had. I will never go back to this franchise again. Lousy server, worse food, terrible overall!

We were on their bottom floor patio (which was lovely) but I did spy that they have a rooftop patio as well (what's not to love?!?). Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exemplary. For my cocktail I got their Old Colonel's Smoking Gun which was their twist on an old fashioned and was delightful. For my entree, I got their salmon entree. It's glazed and comes with a size of their crispy brussels and cheesy grits. The brussels were delish and their cheesy grits rank among some of the best I've had with sharp cheddar giving them the perfect flavor kick. The atmosphere was so pleasant. It's definitely the sort of spot you'll feel tempted to linger. Get to it!

Chatter noise was low enough Iwe could reasonably talk together! She started with a french onion soup, steamy and thick, obviously homemade!! I had a lobster bisque with baquettes. She then chose the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes & green beans. I had the braised short ribs Mirepoix, garlic mash potatoes & csteamed carrots with short rib reduction! We topped the night off with a delightful PRINCESS DIANA'S Taste of Ocala award winning Bruleed Bread Pudding w/ fresh berries & Amaretto , Almonds!! Btw, the Chicken fried steak is offered every Sunday. Our server, Joanne, was excellent and very knowledgeable!! The only downside was about 3 items unavailable due to heavy traffic on Valentine's Day on Saturday. The tables were candlelit, clean, and seating was comfortable. One of the highlights is the excellent view of the runway, where you can watch small airplanes take off and land while enjoying your meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was good overall. We both ordered rice bowls with stir-fried vegetables and our choice of protein--one with chicken and the other with shrimp. The flavors were enjoyable; however, both bowls seemed noticeably watery. We're not sure if the extra liquid came from the vegetables or the rice preparation, but it was enough to be noticeable and took away from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Menu prices appear to range from around $10 into the $40s, offering options for a variety of budgets. One disappointment was that Elevation 89 is listed online, including on web searches and Yelp, as offering a Sunday Brunch. We specifically chose this location because we meet once a month to try a new brunch spot. Unfortunately, upon arrival we learned there is no Sunday Brunch currently being offered. We were disappointed by the inaccurate information and hope the online listings are updated so future guests can plan accordingly. Despite that issue, we enjoyed the clean environment, good service, and especially the unique runway views and watching the small aircraft come and go.

But the gravy and risotto were really yummy and the pork shank was really meaty but honestly i couldn't finish it because the pork flavor after a while was off putting. 6/10 Overall the service was decent, the ambiance was dope, but I wouldn't waste my time ever going back.
