We came last night to eat and had an awesome experience, my wife dropped some sauce and felt so bad and went to clean it up but the gentleman taking out the trash cleaned up for her, and everyone had smiled and great attitude. Saw a few signs on I-75 as we were driving back o Michigan from Florida, and we looked this place up for lunch. We found an online holiday for 24 strips for $24 and thought we have to try it, and am I glad we did! We got a tray with 2 large sauces to dip. The chicken was super hot and tender, moist and juicy. Usually PDQ chicken is good. However this time it was a big disappointment. I ordered by food and had the order to dine in the restaurant. I ordered nuggets and a chicken sandwich. As with a PDQ you can see into the kitchen. My nuggets came out first. They were placed under lamps while the sandwich was prepared. I do not know if the lamps were malfunctioning or not, but my nuggets were cold. Fully cooked but still cold. Usually this happens with a drive through order. read more

Stopped here on the ride home from Disney & we've always loved PDQ. Unfortunately, this will be our last time. After years of thinking the food was on par with Chick-fil-A, it definitely was not this trip. The nuggets tossed in garlic Parmesan had very little sauce, as did the honey butter chicken sandwich (that used to be a favorite). We received very few fries with our meal and the Mac n cheese was not good (& we ordered one but was charged for and received 3 but didn't bother fighting it). The Reese's milkshake was chunky and practically not drinkable. The restaurant & restrooms were clean but we can find that at a number of other restaurants on that exit. We visited your location on Sunday on the way home from Disney. The restaurant was clean. The bathrooms were clean. Ordered food to go. The girl at the register was nice and very efficient made sure she placed our order correctly. We go it to go to get back on the road. The 2 men behind packing orders made sure to greet us while we were waiting for our order, double checked everything. We ate and everything was fresh and hot. Better than expected. This is an amazing place, and I was fueling up close by when I saw it. They have such an array of healthier options that I was immediately impressed. The business model and offerings seem so similar to Chik fil a, but this is a smaller company, I believe. I pulled up to the drive-thru and order the zucchini fries as a side with Ranch dipping sauce with my chicken sandwich. The food is cooked to order, and it is so damn good. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and the bun is Brioche, which gives a hint of buttery goodness. My zucchini fries were hot and well-seasoned as well. I'm a fan. Every time I order the 5 piece chicken fingers I ALWAYS get one or two pieces that have connective tissue in them. It's disgusting! Chick-fil-A never has connective tissue in their chicken fingers! We were short on time so we stopped here for lunch. Tom thought PDQ stood for 'Pretty Dang Quick' I found out that it stands for 'People Dedicated to Quality'. Was in town for work and knew I had to stop at PDQ as soon as I saw Ocala had one. I'm a huge fan of PDQ and was super excited to be able to try the waffle sweet potato fries. I love PDQ for their sauces available and their friendly staff. We found a table outside and enjoyed a nice day eating lunch. There's so much on the menu here I love that it makes it hard to only visit once since I don't get PDQ often. When looking for quality fast food PDQ is always my pick when I'm near one. read more

I would give a 3.75 review, but 3.5 average is pretty on par with what I saw. The food was pretty okay, but a friend ordered the honey chicken sandwich meal and they said it was way too greasy to eat. It seemed to her that they deep fried the chicken far too much and poured a bunch of honey on top, but it was far too sticky sweet. The service was really quick, but the tables and booths were already sticky and dirty when we came in. Overall not bad, but definitely not the go-to stop if you're passing by. read more

Great food. Serious mix up in the drive through. They reached the wrong meal out of the window. I has said " that doesn't look right" she then kinda snapped and said "yes it is". So I took the food.no biggie. Just to look in the bag and it not be the right meal. Then she opened the window and said " your good to go, have a great day" I said "no, I haven't paid and this is the wrong food" Then she begins to blame me for not telling her this wasn't my order( I don't think I'm supposed to order again at the pick up window & I kinda already told her that) she said "baby I asked you why didn't you tell me" and then rushed me when trying to get my money ready. I paid. She gave me the correct drinks and said " have a nice day" I went to tell her I didn't have my food and she slammed the window closed. About 3 seconds later she opens the door and says you're good to go. Then I said " I don't have my food". She then blamed me AGAIN that I should have told her I didn't have my food. I'm not angry, and will probably be back. But goodness, someone needs to slow that girl down and teach her just do the job right, instead of doing it 3 times over. First time coming to eat, food was ok. I order a Mediterranean salad which is supposed to have mixed greens, allanará olives etc. and when the meals were brought to our table. I noticed the salad was all iceberg lettuce. So and attendant came by and I mentioned it to him and he went and told a team lead. The team lead came by and drop off the salad to the table and did not say nothing at all. Those attitudes like that is what keeps people away from places like this. PDQ management you need to train employees on being thankful, that people are coming to your establishment and pay for your salaries. I'll definitely will not be back and definitely will not recommend this place. Corporate and Management you need to train your employees to be friendlier of not leave them in the back not dealing with guest. We all have bad days, but that's were management needs to step in and have a conversation with those folks. Specially if The are team leaders! This is a fast food restaurant similar to Chick-fil-A. They offer chicken tenders, salads, sandwiches and rice bowls. One of the things that is very unique are the sauces. My favorite is the creamy garlic, and I could eat that sauce with many things. The staff is friendly and they seem to get the majority of their staff from young kids. My husband and I both ordered a three piece meal. His came with fries and I ordered totchos. Everything was fresh. Definitely a place to go for fast food if it's a Sunday. That was a pretty good grilled chicken sandwich! Along with blueberry slaw! Diet root beer too! We dropped in here recently for lunch and I do admit is was quick. Order at the counter, take a seat, and they announce your name when the food is ready. Took only a few minutes and the place was packed. You can go healthy and grilled, or unhealthy and fried crispy style. I dug the slaw.The also make shakes here too. They have those new Coke soda machines that offer like a gazillion soda options. It's a large, brand new, clean and bright space with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly abd cheery. From what I heard Tim Tebow and Vinnie Testaverde have invested in this place. I was asked if I wanted the waffle fries with the dinner since I'm not a potato eater I said Ill take the Mac and cheese with my drink being lemonade. They have a house made coleslaw w/blueberries to substitute for fries if you'd like. You get to choose from 7 different homemade sauces for your chicken. And if you're having a salad there are also 7 different homemade dressings. I just wanted to let everyone know that I sincerely hope you give this place a visit because my experience was outstanding. I had the grilled chicken rice bowl and the rice was a bit undercooked. I didn't complain, however a staff member (Joshua) came by to ask how was everything and noticed that most of my meal was uneaten as he so kindly took up everyone's dishes that were finished. I told him that the rice was a little crunchy. He then gave me a complementary meal certificate and asked if there was anything else that he/PDQ could do to make sure I leave pleased with my PDQ experience.
