Thai food that's just ok. I wish there was a Thai place that captures the exciting vibrant flavors of actual Thai food. Seems like they "dumb down" the seasonings for the Ocala taste buds which is a shame. Red curry did not taste like a house made curry paste. Mussels special appetizer was also lacking in TASTE. Bummer.

I absolutely love this place, the food is incredible and I really enjoyed the Thai green milk tea! The red curry was perfect and I am still dreaming of this bowl! I even had enough for the next day. The service was amazing and they were very attentive and nice. We came in a little late and didn't check the closing time but they were kind enough to still serve us. Thank you!

Me and my wife are visiting from miami and I'm pregnant so I wanted Thai food really bad. I have a high expectation because Thai is one of my favorite foods. I found this restaurant on yelp and the reviews are what spoke to me, we decided to give a try and all I can say is WOW! From the Thai tea to the fresh rolls and their wonton soup! There chili sauce which is home made! I highly recommend this place if you're a Thai fanatic. Service was also on point!

This was the best Thai restaurant we've been to since we moved to Florida only to run only 2nd to our favorite Thai restaurant in California called Bai Plu. The dishes are out of this world here at Ayuttaya Thai. I'll probably bring my own Prik nam plah though. No one in Florida knows how to make the perfect Prik nam plah. Anyway, the service was phenomenal. The people are very nice. They have a variety of dishes that are very authentic unlike Ruby Thai in The Villages. The restaurant is cozy and it is somewhat quiet. Although I would expect a louder atmosphere since it is Asian. I suggest their soft shell fried rice. Oh and if you're from California, the spring rolls here in Florida are fried not fresh like California's spring rolls. If you want the soft spring rolls they are called fresh rolls. Try this place! You'll like it.

This restaurant is at northeast of Paddock Mall. We were here because the restaurant we want to visit close and this restaurant is closer to it. The wait of the table is easy no wait. We were able to tell the waitress that we need to travel back to Tampa and like to get the meal quick. The promise were delivered without much wait. I got the crab fried rice. It come with soup. The entree have crab meat in the rice and fried soft shell crab on top. The quantity is good for a hungry person. My friend got the vegetarian dish, grouper fried rice, chicken pad Thai. All has good quantity. We also got the Thai teas which is delicious. Overall our visit is pleasant. Service is good. Request is made as promised. Can't complaints.

You get a very warm greeting when you walk in. The restaurant smells amazing, which is always a very good sign. It's located in a strip mall near Earth fare between Sarah Fais gluten-free bakery and Kotobuki. There's plenty of seating for any size party you'd like to have they have more parking in the back. The food was great and they have the best coconut vegetable vegan soup I have ever had.

The kitchen is in full view, and immaculate. The staff were all super friendly and awesome. The many craft beers and unique flavors were amazing. They usually have a pineapple cider, that is really good. The peanut butter and jelly beer just has to be tasted to be appreciated it is so good. Unfortunately for me I was looking for a brewery experience and Big Hammock is not that. They do have a good amount of local craft beers on tap which is a definite plus. They just didn't have any of their own beer. Maybe they are brewing, but if they are not, they should change the brewery in their name to brew pub because the name is definitely misleading. It is really awkward making this review, because I really did not get the full experience. I walked in, looked around, checked out the beer menu, asked if they had any of their own beers. When that answer was "no" I left. The end.

Stella's continues to impress with fresh ingredients and absolutely incredible bread. I wasn't sure since it being 2 years since I was here if they would have the breakfast I had last time. I was surprised they did have it so I ordered the Spanish Egg Breakfast, which came with arugula, chorizo, heirloom tomatoes, ciabatta toast, and a preserve. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the chorizo added a great smoky-spicy kick, and the heirloom tomatoes were sweet and juicy. The arugula balanced everything out with a slight peppery bite, and the ciabatta toast was just amazing--crispy on the outside, soft inside, and perfect with the preserve. I also had the Jamón Serrano Sandwich & split it with my bf. It was just as good as it sounds. The jamón serrano, manchego, and basil pesto were a perfect combination--savory, nutty, and herby--all sandwiched between that same incredible ciabatta. Every bite was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly, though the wait was a little longer than expected. Still, the quality of the food made up for it. Definitely won't wait as long to return next time!

It looks like a store from the outside but I did see someone sitting inside sipping wine so I was intrigued. As you walk in, there is a spacious seating area at the front of the store. Then it kind of transitions into a market store. There is a counter you order food at and pay for items. There is a small bar with seating next to that as well. We browsed the market items and picked up a couple of items. We went to the counter to pay and that is when I realized you can order food and drinks. If you order something that takes time to prepare, it is brought to you at a table. Since I ordered a glass of wine, I just waited there for it and went to sit. Hubs retrieved a beer from the fridge. The owner was the individual we interacted with and he was very pleasant. There was constant traffic the entire time we were there so I hope that means they will remain in business. The prices were not too crazy and it is a perfect place to have a drink and/ or gourmet snacks. I definitely want to return and try other items on the menu.

A great place to have great mediterranean/Greek style food in Ocala…read moreCava is a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant chain. It is known for fresh, customizable bowls, salads, and pitas with Greek/Mediterranean-inspired flavors. It started in 2006 in Rockville, Maryland. As of 2026, Cava has roughly 440-460 locations across about 30 states and Washington, D.C..I had heard about it from some friends at work and as we were travelling we saw one of their locations in Ocala. I am glad that we did. It reminds me of a Mediterranean Chipotle. This particular location had a drive through and dine-in option. The parking was a little limited. The store is designed so that you start at one side of a line and work your way down the line to the cashier choosing you options of preset orders or build-your-own. I tried a steak and feta pita with a side of pita chips. Both were excellent and were reasonably priced for good food. The drinks are an assortment of serve-yourself unique flavors like cucumber mint lime and Tangerine Alepo. Both of which tasted very good. The staff was very pleasant. The restaurant had a limited number of seats inside. It was very busy so be patient as the the quantity and the quality of food are well worth the price and the wait.

Our server was somewhat attentive (asked if we're ready to order, waited a couple more minutes for us to finish deciding). One of the menu items she said something wrong which was fine, i'm glad she tried to ensure I don't get an ingredient that I didn't want on a separate item. The foodrunner was absolutely great! Her attentiveness and overall attitude were great! I wish i got her name so i could give her props on here! The server checked up on us right after the food got to our table and we told her of some things we asked the runner for, but after that did not check on if we got it, how the food was, or if we wanted anything else. She passed by later and dropped the receipt with no explanation or reassurance like a "does everything look good on the receipt?" Or a "if everything looks good you can head up to the front and pay" (we did not know we need to pay up front so we stayed at the table waiting for her to get the card which she didnt check on or point out after 10-15 minutes of us sitting doing nothing). The food was delicious in my opinion. I got the 2 for you with the monterey club and the chicken avocado chop with a pueple haze (i unfortunately did not get a picture of them) but they were good quantity and quality for the price. The price of both is almost the same as if you bought any of them individually (they serve half the portion of each for the 2 for you) but i personally like the variety and trying both items. The salad only had two slices of avocado though which was slightly disappointing but it all tasted delicious. I think it's the best food i had in first watch ever!
