I have never made a review before but I wonder why it's always the subway employees in general who are so rude and condescending:( I walked in to order two sandwiches when i was the only customer there,and told the man I needed a moment and when i was ready he was rude and kept trying to rush me to take my order while sighing, even tho i was being polite the entire time. Listen i understand if you don't have staffing, I work at Starbucks so I know hard it can be. But if you can't handle being equipped for random customers in the middle of your cleanings or online orders ; then honey, you're not equipped for customer service. I hope the employee was having a good day, but it's no reason to be rude to customers. read more

Making a sandwich isn't rocket science, and when you have a slip in front of you with the directions for the order, then all you have to do is read and follow instructions. There were two people making my two sandwiches, and nobody else was in the store so it's not like they were busy. Both of the subs were supposed to have 1/2 extra meet, and I had to remind both of them, and the girl making my steak and cheese said she did already put the extra on which had to be a lie, because the last two inches of the sub didn't have a spec of meat, and the rest didn't have that much. Then she put the wrong cheese on it, and didn't bother to toast it as requested either. Who wants a cold steak and cheese? Then the girl making the second sandwich heated up the bacon for my sub, but never put it on. Since I planned to save the second sandwich I requested all of the sauces on the side. So when she got to the sauces I said again to put the sauces on the side, and I only mentioned two of the three I requested, I forgot that I asked for light mustard, and she grabbed the mustard and covered it. I started to tell her to make it over, because that was extra mustard, and I didn't want it on the sub. The ticket said all sauces on the side for that sub. I don't usually go to this location, but I was already near there at another store, so I gave them a try. That's the last time. Subway isn't what it used to be! With my 2 for $12.99 coupon it was still over $21 with the half extra meat, and it said it was over $35 without the coupon, which is INSANE for two subs from Subway non the less. read more

Subway is a very big chain but I really appreciated the personal service and attention from Asst. Manager Cody at this location. All the food looked very fresh and my new "The Monster" sub confirmed it. It was delicious made just right by sub artist Cody and enough for a few meals. Service was really fast. The sign on the door said that the store closed at 9pm. When I arrived at 8pm to pick up my online order, the employee, who was listening to sexually-explicit lyrics on a personal speaker, told me that the dine-in hours had just closed. I was also wary that the employee left the chips and drink out of the meal I ordered. When I got home, I was stunned to find my sandwich (if you could call it that) individually wrapped at least five times (each wrapper I peeled off led to another wrapper), plus an outer layer of Subway wrappers that brought the total to at least 15. Were I that employee, I would not have wanted my customer to open the bag in front of me, either. See the photos. You can't make this stuff up. Everytime we come in they're understaffed. If you don't mind waiting, which I don't mind, then you'll be fine.

Restaurant is fine but they have loud music playing on speakers above the prep area which makes is hard to hear what the employees are saying. read more

I've been to this spot about a dozen times because of its convenient location, but today will be my LAST TIME. First, our meatball sub was WAY over-toasted. My son chose to not have them remake it since the line was getting long. Then upon arriving at our destination, I found that my foot long Italian Herb bread was WAY undercooked and soggy. Shouldn't they realize the bread is not cooked properly? The employees were unsmiling and did not communicate well with each other either. So basically today was the last straw. We'll be driving a little further to the other Subway because we've given this location multiple opportunities to impress us. read more

Let me just say, in general I love Subway, always have. Used to work at one as a matter of fact, during my college days back in Austin - the one on the corner of 29th and Guadalupe next to Toy Joy, the best Subway EVER. The problem with Subway is the lack of consistency from store to store. The good ones can be really, really good - super fresh veggies, generous helpings, clean inside... and the bad ones can be just as bad. Well, this one - the one in the Fry's shopping center on the southeast corner of Ray and Rural, is somewhere in the middle. Can't really rave or complain about any of those things. What did bug me about this particular location were a couple of the employees who insisted on giving me a hard time for not eating meat - especially when I ordered the veggie patty. They made faces when pulling it out of the wrapper, ask me what was in it, get grossed out when I told 'em... and then pretty much challenge my quasi-vegetarian views, which wasn't really why I was there, you know? I just wanted my damn sandwich, no questions asked. Now, that being said, I do have to give them credit for even having the veggie patty on their menu in the first place, as not all Subways across the valley are considerate enough to do so... read more

I have to give a big shout out to my local Subway restaurant! I wish I had paid attention to the names of the two guys working...Of course the sandwiches were delicious as usual. But today, my walking buddyCherie AND my 90lb German Shepherd decided to walk to Subway for lunch. Well, they have no outdoor seating at this location, so we thought we would just take turns outside with Koda (my dog) and maybe eat as we walked. No--one of the guys offered to physically move a table and chairs outside so that we could sit outside with the dog. They even gave me a container of drinking water for Koda! I'm a huge fan of Subway! After today I'm a huger fan! My friend and I went on our lunch break! Alex (the manager) was in the trenches helping with the lunch rush! He made the most amazing sandwich I've ever had from subway (and that's alot) with great recommendations for my sandwich. I always get the rotisserie chicken and he requested some extras (oregano, onions and bell peppers... Which I'm not a fan of any of it.) But then toasted it like it was sautéed! I've always ordered the Italian BMT but loaded w/ tons of veggies.. but an Indian veg friend clued me in to the Veggie Max (not the regular.. MAX). By far one of the cleanest, best Subways I've been to. Stopped by for a quick sub after work and it was a great experience. The team was happy and bread was fresh. It's obvious the manager Eddie takes great pride in this location. This will be a regular stop every time I'm in the area - super easy to get to. Try the new Lays chip flavors too. read more

Walked into this location and had an epic wait. One person working??? One. Did I mention just one employee on the premise? Let's call said employee, State Puff. (SP) She'd like to be called Diva, I am sure as her attitude was entitled and annoyed. Honey, if you want diva status you have to be kind inwardly & out!!! State Puff refused to get me the avocado I wanted on my sandwich. Strange... simple enough, especially after I had to wait 15min just to be addressed. After a three sandwich process, I left; did NOT take/pay for the sandwiches. State Puff had NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. Now, I do not blame SP; no, I do not. I blame first, Subway... Subway corporate. Clearly they lie to us assuming we are so stupid and mindless that we won't know their rude, bad-mannered, no customer service employees have clearly had NO, zip, nada training. Secondly, I blame this locations franchise owner. Shame on you sir/madam as you clearly chose terrible managers for your location. You are just aa guilty as corporate! Lastly, I blame the manager. You, ms/mr have no business managing, because you lack empathy, training skills, and how to prioritize a schedule and provide excellent service. You FAILED SP and us! Shop is larger then the usual Subway with a more open feel. Service was excellent and food was prepared to order.

I like the sandwhiches and salads but they do not have any low fat balsamic vinegrette dressing! Thats the only king of dressing i like! last time i was there i had to eat my salad without dressing and soda i had was totally flat!! read more

Alex P. was very rude in making my sandwich. I asked for a lot of pickles and he put some on and then I wanted more so he picked up like 4 and threw 3 back into the container. I asked for mustard on my sandwich and started to put mayo on it. When he was giving me and my friend napkins he gave my friend like 5 and gave me 1. He laid the napkins on the sandwich of my friend and threw my napkin on my sandwich almost missing the tray. In addition to this, my friend got a 10% discount. We both came into the restaurant at the same time and he got a discount for waiting in line patiently while I did not. read more
