#4 Jalapeo & Cheese Whataburger Whatameal (ordered w/ no tomatoes)
Shirley V.

Drive thru-4.13.25: Came by in the early morning after a game night with friends. Drive thru was a little busy but the staff got us in and out pretty quickly! Only issue was I mentioned no tomatoes twice (I'm allergic) & they still added them. Otherwise, they were quick and food was good. Could've used salt on the fries as they didn't have any at all but that was an easy fix & better than overly salted fries.

While on our travels to Arizona we choose to check out the WHATABURGER because so many people say "you have to check it out!" The food wasn't bad and the prices were reasonable. We asked the cashier Swar D what he recommended and one thing he mentioned was the Patty Melt which I decided to try with a Mex Hot Chocolate shake. There was nothing special about that shake, very strange name as it simply tasted like a regular chocolate shake. There were four of us in our party. The facility was clean and the staff was nice.

Food is fair for a fast food place, but honestly for the price I'd rather go to Chilli's or something else for quality and amount of food. However, for quick food this is a good option. The person who took our order took it wrong so we ended up getting a few things we did not order and were charged a bit more. Service inside was very friendly and the worker even came back to give us ketchup and check on us; that was much appreciated! Ambiance was similar to that of any to-go kinda place.

So I can in here for a pickup order and the ordering area is literally right in front of you when you walk in which is a nice touch. This location is very clean, the staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The employees of this location are amazing. This is now my favorite Whataburger which is saying a lot because I won't go to the one that is 2 miles from my house!

I really like Whataburger. It's 1 of my favorite fast food places. The prices are affordable and the restaurant is clean. The employees and service are excellent. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

First time trying Wataburger - a positive experience all around! Staff were very friendly and attentive and the service was fast. We got burgers, fries and a Dr. Pepper shake. I liked all the different sauce options - the garlic was great on the burger and as a fry dip. Dr. Pepper shake was delicious and the fries were really good. I thought my burger was just ok. Would eat here again sometime, we just don't have them where I live!

Horrible burgers, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place that cheese looks like the cheap American cheese that couldn't really melt.

The name refers to U.S. Patent 139, granted to Rudolf Gustav Hass for the Hass avocado, and the establishment was founded by Tim Hass, the inventor's great grandson. The space was larger than expected and the brewing area is in the corner and the bar is in the centerpiece. We grabbed seats at the bar, but there are tables in and outside. Our bartender was very nice and she explained Patent 139 brews in small batches and features beer from local breweries. My husband ordered a Neon Blaster Blonde and buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower were tangy and spicy. Definitely a good choice to stop in when in Chandler.

We had already eaten so we didn't have the opportunity to try food, and I would have liked to! The menu looks good and other reviewers say the food is tasty, next time! We hopped in a for a round of beer during happy hour. Ordered the raspberry blonde and hazy IPA. Both were good. I enjoyed the blonde more, but that's simply due to I've moved away from IPAs in general. During our visit they had 5 beers on tap made by Patent 139, and other guest taps as well. The story of the owner is interesting with his ties to Ballast Point and the Hass avocado. We sat in the bar area. Bartender was friendly and attentive. There's a sitting area at the front with couches, and past the bar is large wooden picnic tables, next time I would opt to sit outside on the patio.

We started with a beer and the cauliflower appetizer--both were amazing! Just a heads-up: the cauliflower is a little spicy, but totally addictive. Our burgers arrived quickly. The onion rings and duck fat fries were on point with unique seasoning, and the homemade ketchup and pickles were a welcome surprise. We tried the PB&J burger, which was both creative and delicious. Overall, it was a fun "dinner adventure," and we will definitely be back!

There are so many breweries and pubs around here that there's pretty tough competition. As other reviewers have stated, their duck fat fries are great! So crispy and the herbs really elevate it. They can be a little heavy handed with the salt to the point where you may see salt piles on your fries, but at least the salt granules are larger and can be easily swept off. Although their fries are great on their own, they unfortunately struggle to strand up when loaded. I'm not sure how they do it, but we've been to places where fries can remain crispy even when loaded with toppings. Their poutine is still tasty though if you don't mind your fries soggy. Their burgers have great beefy flavor, but after trying a few of their burger options, my partner and I also feel that some other places do their unique burger stylings a bit better. A lot of the toppings overwhelm rather than contribute to the overall burger. There's plenty of searing both indoors and out. You have bar top, high table, and regular table style seating for indoors. There's plenty of 4 person tables outdoors under shade and also with misters on if it's hot out. Indoor seating offers plenty of viewing for sports. Service is also pleasant. Due to how they source their ingredients, the overall menu is on the pricier side. Although my partner and I prefer other breweries more, we do think it's still worth it to try visiting Arizona Wilderness Brewing at least once.

Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return. At first I thought I didn't want a burger as I usually make my own at home but was pleasantly surprised at the menu & ambiance. Sarina was our waitress & I asked her if the California Bowl was like a salad with a veggie burger as it doesn't state a beef patty? She said it's like a burger w/o a bun but as a bowl w/the ingredients & TOPPED with a beef patty. Oh, I see... So I asked if I could just have the Basmati Rice but it was a mixture of Basmati & Quinoa so she said she could give me more ingredients of something else like Brussels sprouts or Greens so I asked for more Greens. The ingredients are: griddled Sweet Potatoes, roasted Mushrooms, caramelized Onions, Brussels Sprouts, Quinoa, Avocado slices with a Tamari glaze. It was also topped with Cilantro & Green Onions. I also ordered an Iced Tea. The California Burger Bowl was soooo delicious with such a flavor bomb of textures, sweetness & caramelized, smokey flavors! The crunchiness from the cold greens, warm Brussels Sprouts, soft & sweet Caramelized Onions & Sweet Potatoes, plus the creaminess of the Avocados was such a great medley! I think I need to replicate this at home! Very creative & healthy! My cousin & friend both got burgers, one topped with mushrooms & one with a lettuce wrap sub, Zucchini & Sweet Potato Fries. The seating is very comfortable with the cushioned seats & booths & the restaurant is very bright & airy with lots of windows & high ceilings. If you have to use the restroom, it's located outside & will give you a passcode. Highly recommend this place!
