Not happy. The "Unwich" is a popular item on the menu for me being diabetic. Yet today I ordered one, online the #6 combo as an unwich and picked it up only to find when I got to my hotel that they can't tell the difference between a lettuce leaf and a wrap. Customer Service Sucks! This store always looks like it's closed daily by 8pm and I needed to use the restroom after placing my order. They said it was closed, how do you close the restrooms while the restaurant is still open. This happens daily by 8pm. Damn degenerates clean the restroom early and don't let customers use it so they can close faster. Last night was a kicker for me in their Customer Service. There were two females working in restaurant and it looked like it was closed. One female was sitting at the table closest to the door as I coming in, and she quickly looked at the other female behind the counter making a stench face. They were not welcoming both had stench faces, I asked if they were closed. I did not get an answer from anyone. Lady just asked what I wanted. I bought one sandwich for $11.88 on 5/31/2024 in 800 N 54th St, Chandler, Arizona. A nice cashier young lady processed my credit card in one cash register, which was approved. She told me that there was some problem with that register since it could not print the receipt. She went to another register and asked me to process my credit card again. I told her that it was already approved, and asked her to make sure that it would not me charged twice. She assured me that it would not be charged twice, and if I found out later that there was a duplicate charge, I need to let the store know and they would take care of it. When I checked my credit card statement in a couple of days, there were two charges for $11.88 each. I went to the store and showed my receipt and the screenshot of my credit card statement that showed double charges. A nice gentleman said that he did not know what to do, and went inside to see his Manager. He later came back and told me that the store would not be able to anything to rectify the problem. He advised me to contact the credit card. When I asked to talk to the Manager, he told me that the Manager was not available. I came back without any resolution and with a promise to never go back to that store anymore. I wanted to narrate all the details so that the prospective customers are aware of the store management's attitude toward the customer, and lack of their endeavor to rectify their own problem. read more

The business hours reflect that this location is open 7 days a week from 11am-8pm. I have attempted to come to this location various times within these advertised hours and it is ALWAYS closed. If the shop is short on staff or having other issues then management needs to step up and either figure out how to increase staffing or simply put effort into ensure your business hours are accurately reflected online and with other sources. This has continued for around 6 months now which is why I am finally writing this review. There is no excuse as to why there has not been some sort of solution. How is a sandwich shop closed throughout the day on weekends? How is it closed during dinner rush hours on weekdays? We just ordered two sandwiches today from this Jimmy Johns. We ordered two Turkey Avocado Provolone and bacon sandwiches. Not only that, but we made them a combo with a bag of chips and a large drink. Furthermore, we decide to try one side order of the potato salad. They had already started making the sandwiches when he rang up the bill. He turned it around and said to add the tip on the screen. I looked at the screen and the amount was $44.81. This was for just two sandwiches. I went ahead and paid, but did not leave the 20% tip requested. When we received the sandwiches, my wife opened her and it was not cut. I tried to hand it t him, and he said they could not take either of them back and proceeded to hand me a plastic knife. I handed it to my wife and asked for my potato salad, and he looked at me like I did not order it. The guy that took the order told him I had, but he questions the food order and went ahead and handed me the salad. The staff was rude, and I do not know if the guy was trying to charge me for a salad and keep the money or what. We are retired on a fixed income. We have not recently in the past year ate at a Jimmy Johns. All I know is we will just go over to Texas Roadhouse next time and have two $15 steak dinners and come out cheaper with way better food. They substitute lettuce leaves for the bread, much like In-n-Out's "protein style". Anyway, I got the #15 Club Tuna as an unwich. Everything was fresh and the tuna was quite flavorful. Cost: Decent: today was $7 including tax for one sandwich, no drinks. Service: Staff is always friendly, and the food comes out quickly. Honestly such a bad experience. My coworker ordered online for all of us at work. Tipped very well and all because we work in the service industry. We had multiple sandwiches made wrong, a whole sandwich missing. Eventually the other sandwich was delivered. My coworker was too busy to call at the time so I had the receipt in hand and called myself. I had the phone on speaker because it was loud at work and was trying to make sure I could hear the staff on the other line. So literally everyone heard this conversation. I asked for the manager and wanted to just let her know that a lot of our items are incorrect and I was VERY polite again because I work in the service industry and I understand things happen. She rudely snapped at me and said "I'm the manager and I personally made all the sandwiches and there was nothing wrong, if you have a problem call corporate. Bye." And hung up on me. Miss girl!!! Being Vegan, Jimmy's isn't high on my list of places to eat but once in awhile I order delivery when I'm at work. I get the Vegetarian Sub with no cheese and no mayo, add a Jumbo Pickle, quartered, and a bag of plain potato chips. The sandwich could be better if they used real sliced Avocado instead of the slimy spread but nonetheless its an OK sandwich. Now, the highlight of the meal is definitely the Pickle, it is by far the Best Pickle I've ever eaten! Just get one you'll see. The chips are your standard bagged crispy kettle chips, I just get the plain since unfortunately their salt and vinegar flavor has milk/whey in its ingredients.
