Thank you Ashley and Christina great food and service

Everything is always hot and fresh thank you Ashley and Christina! Great service! Keep up the good work...

Been awhile since I visited this place and now this visit reminded me. A bit pricey for the food. Especially the chili dogs were very salty and then squished when they wrapped them having the chili stick to the paper. The corn dogs were eehhhh. Not up to par for what their famous for. The soda had a good taste. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Didn't really take any pictures of the food since they looked thrashed.

Tube Steaks, are tube steaks, right? And like the Kaiser supposedly said, I don't necessarily want to see how they make 'em, I just want to enjoy them. I was driving along McQueen today, near the Chandler/Gilbert border and noticed this Wienerschnitzel. Seems CVS Pharmacy has trimmed back their trees and like many, I didn't realize Wienerschnitzel was there. I ordered a cup of Chili ($3.49), which was good; a Pastrami Sandwich ($4.99) for later and a Polish Chicago ($3.09). I was less than impressed with the dog, or Polish if you will. Like most of their Hot Dogs at Wienerschnitzel, it seems puffed-up with air and less than solid in chewing or taste. Certainly not the solid 100% Beef ones they serve at Costco. What was different though, was their introduction of Pastrami as a menu item. Besides offering a sandwich, they put it on everything, including their frankfurters. Go figure. I was however not brave enough to try it on my Polish. Maybe next time. Hmmmm Der Fun since '61? Three Stars, "A-Okay".

Terrible hot dogs. They tasted just like Oscar Meyer hot dogs. Portillos dogs are 100 times better.

Several other people that came in commented the same thing. It seems like the staff were not allowed to adjust the thermostat, which was strange. We had to leave quicker than intended because we were literally dripping sweat and were too uncomfortable to stay. Not only was it hot, but there are no fans to move the air, so the air was hot and still. If you plan to go here during the summer, I recommend taking your food to go. Both of the items were pretty good. My on issue is that I had hoped the hot dogs would be bigger. I'd rather have a bigger dog with less toppings vs more toppings and less dog. I understand Thad's how they're made here though and I respect that. The spicy fries are similar to Cajun fries from other places but these have more of a kick. I liked them a lot and how they were not too crispy. I can see myself coming back to try other items from the menu next time.

Most certainly! Ordering was pretty easy, kiosk or counter, take your pick. The rodeo burger caught my attention immediately. It was first introduced to me by a friend who said, if you've never tried, you most certainly have to! The onion rings and barbecue sauce changes the whole game for a burger. Thinking about it has me salivating. Honestly. You can get it regular or as a double and no going back as soon as you've had it! I paired my burger wth chili cheese fries. I'm regretting not adding the jalapeños to it. They had this lemon cake milkshake that is absolutely delicious. There's actual cake in that that shake! I noticed that they offer catering too. Order pickup shelving were also nearby. There is a huge dining area with tables snd chairs as well as booths. Even outdoor seating. Where asking a question feels like you're interrupting someone's day. So today, when I took my son to Ted's Hot Dogs. This is a place I've been going to since the 1900s (as my kids love to remind me ). I didn't expect much. Things had changed since my childhood days, but the food had always remained good! I just missed the days when the same guy worked the grill and knew my name and my order by heart. But then, today... There was Karen. Yes, Karen!! Standing over a grill in 117° Arizona heat, she greeted us with patience, kindness, and an actual smile. She let my son take his time ordering without making him feel rushed. And when the ketchup was empty, she didn't shrug it off or point us in another direction. She didn't hand me a thousand little packets since the pump was empty. She simply took care of it. Was it just ketchup? Sure. But it also wasn't. It was someone choosing to care. When other patrons had notified other staff multiple times it was out - Karen found a simple solution without excuses! These days... that feels rare. We've spent years turning the name "Karen" into a punchline. But today, I met the kind of Karen the world could use a whole lot more of. If you're her manager and you're reading this... take good care of her. Promote her. Clone her if science ever figures that out. We ordered three traditional hot dogs with everything on top and a side of bacon cheese fries. Since it was national glizzy day, our hot dogs were supposed to be BOGO. We sat down and waited another 25 minutes until finally our buzzer beeped. We picked up our tray and noticed we were only given 5 hot dogs, not 6. We didn't mention anything just because we saw how busy it still was. The hot dogs were actually pretty good. They were a decent size and flavorful. We really liked the bacon fries and it was enough to share between us three. There was an employee keeping the tables clean and picking up trash - he was friendly. Will de be back to try out some more food!

After moving to Arizona, I struggled to find anything close, until Dog Haus. This one comes seriously close, and honestly, dare I say...it might even edge it out slightly. The bun is incredible. The chili sauce is perfectly seasoned. The cheese is piled on generously, and the light onions on top finish it off just right. Pure perfection. I should've gone with the onion rings since they never disappoint here, but I was trying to be a little healthy and balanced things out with the sweet potato fries, which were genuinely delicious. And the cold beer on tap is the cherry on top. I'll always recommend the Cali Creamin', one of my favorites on their tap list. If you're chasing that LA chili dog feeling in the East Valley, Dog Haus Gilbert delivers. Highly recommend.
