Me and my Grandma went to Wienerschnitzel for a nice lunch. The inside was nice and quiet, only a few people inside, and somewhat clean, besides the bathrooms, which were disgusting and smelt bad, plus had no toilet seat protectors. This one employee, which I don't know her name but she was awesome! She had a wonderful personality and was nice and inviting. We ordered two corn dogs, a chili dog, kraut dog, and fries. The corn dogs were great, had no problems with them. However, the buns for the kraut and chili dog were not soft at all. They tasted a little stale.. the fries were decent, and besides the buns, both the hot dogs were great, plus I got the all beef. It would have been much better if the bun was fresh. This location was located in between CVS and Black Rock Coffee, if you have trouble finding it. read more

Food - Corn dogs - I liked how the corn dogs smelled. The crispy batter smelled good and it reminded me of the smell of corn bread. Atmosphere - When I arrived there were no other customers. No strange or strong odors or smells. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. I did not visit the restroom. It was not very busy inside. Service - Very friendly employees. The service here was quick for ordering and paying at the counter. Self seating. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures. They have some sort of deal on Tuesdays where they sell hot dogs for 1 dollar a piece. Did not see a health rating on Yelp. The food was fine but the staff was extremely rude and hostile while asked for help in regards to an order. They had began to curse at us making me feel very threatened and fearful for the thought that a staff member might become violent. Management as well was very hostile and aggressive and had stated that they were all managers. Staff on site did not answer any phone calls and also had not provided a managers contact information. The fruit loop Shake is Amazing, recommend it entirely the mini corn dogs were really savory and and soft and they had a very sweet flavor at first, and then it was just really good at the end. The service was amazing very informative when I asked about how they make their shakes. read more

I ordered at the drive-thru window and it's AI based, and despite me changing my order a couple times it got EVERYTHING correct and I had a big order. Very impressed, it's sad to say but it's a lot better than human trying to figure out my add-on and deletions. I'll be back. read more

Tube Steaks, are tube steaks, right? And like the Kaiser supposedly said, I don't necessarily want to see how they make 'em, I just want to enjoy them. I was driving along McQueen today, near the Chandler/Gilbert border and noticed this Wienerschnitzel. Seems CVS Pharmacy has trimmed back their trees and like many, I didn't realize Wienerschnitzel was there. I ordered a cup of Chili ($3.49), which was good; a Pastrami Sandwich ($4.99) for later and a Polish Chicago ($3.09). I was less than impressed with the dog, or Polish if you will. Like most of their Hot Dogs at Wienerschnitzel, it seems puffed-up with air and less than solid in chewing or taste. Certainly not the solid 100% Beef ones they serve at Costco. What was different though, was their introduction of Pastrami as a menu item. Besides offering a sandwich, they put it on everything, including their frankfurters. Go figure. I absolutely enjoy the food, service and simplicity of this fast food hotdog chain. Chili cheese, dogs and cheese fries are hands on some of the best you will find in Arizona. Knowing that this location has a heavy presence in California, I really wish there were more locations in Arizona to choose from. location in Chandler is quite and usually you can find a TV program or music playing that is easy to listen to. I moved to a part of the country where there are no Wienerschnitels so when I travel and one is close by I'll go there. I haven't been near one in over a year. I've traveling across a few states and was excited to go to one. Ordered my usual and was disappointed because the hot dog meat was barely warm. Chalked it up to bad luck. Tried again a week later in a different town and same exact thing. For food safety they need to be at least 140 degrees internal temperature to eat. Flew into Pheniox today and stopped at this on and asked when I ordered to make sure it was cooked as the last few times it was barely warm. And yet again for a 3rd time it was luke warm at best. I worked in the restaurant business for many years when I was young and food safety is important which is why I am posting this and will give them a call tomorrow. They need to make sure their employees have thermometers and are getting meats especially to safe temperatures before serving it so as to not get someone sick. And they taste better hot. Got myself (2) beef hotdogs- one chili cheese dog and one mustard dog and a root beer float. The mustard dog was perfect! The hot dog was fresh, the bun nice and soft and there was the perfect amount of mustard. It was really good! The chili cheese dog was just as good with a nice plump hotdog, soft bun, perfect amount of chili and cheese. And my root beer? Yummy! I went thru the drive thru and the gal (Isis ?) who took my order was polite and friendly and when I drove up to the window, she greeted me right away, took my payment, handed it back and gave me my items. She's was courteous and efficient. Maybe the staff has changed bc my experience today was awesome. I will definitely be back. People don't leave enough positive reviews and I always try to. I don't know how your business is based around having good hot dogs when I can positively say this might have been one of the worst hot dogs I have ever had in my life. Terrible location BUUUUT a hidden gem where you get hot ass fries, OG corn dogs and Oreo shake that are hands down 10times better than chick fil a. Restaurant was clean, had cold air blowing with polite and quick with the order staff. Whoever is managing this place is doing a great job! Lazy Liars! That sums up my experience here today. I ordered a Polish Dog plus kraut and onions. When handed my order I double checked for accuracy. I could not find a single onion on my hot dog. So I handed it back to the cashier and explained the discrepancy. I minute later I was handed back the container and assured that the onions were underneath the kraut. So I drove off and bit into the dog a few minutes down the road. I could not feel the crunch of a single onion. Because there weren't any!
