bought out our old company Gayle's and without any call for problems on our end and having this…read moretank for many years and no noted problems they want to send out for inspection. ok fine. however with my leased tank she is telling me I pay for repairs! this tank has been here forever. but their company is not the only option in Johnson county. Silgas serves the west end of Bargersville by the utility grid station... fyi just saying for us definitely time for a switch when summer gas prices are here and tank is about empty. They are manipulating customers with their tactics. so when I said I wanted to hold off on inspection that might cost and just possibly switch co she was like well we own that tank so it would be removed. you know what the lease price is where they pay for tank (not homeowners side) repair and inspection....$1! yes $1! that women was playing games from premier ag. I am a social worker and a company who uses manipulation and business tricks with intimidating words will not be my service provider!

We recently purchased a home that uses a propane tank. This is a first for us, as we know nothing…read moreabout them. When we took over ownership of the home, we had Heyob come out. They topped off the tank, were very friendly, and educated us on it. This went a long way in giving us peace of mind and making us feel comfortable owning a propane tank. We recently got a fence installed at the property for our dogs, and they even came out to mark the gas line for us on very short notice. This was so very appreciated, and I wish every business cared about their customers like Heyob does.

The price of propane is outrageous. My wife and I just bought a mobile home that was already set up…read morefor AmeriGas. We pay over $400 a month for propane. This is the first time we've ever had to use it and it will be the last. We were getting low last week so we called for a fill up. We were told it would cost an additional $300 to have it delivered the next day. Even though we were astounded by that price, we agreed because we needed the propane. The following day we had an ice/snow storm and they decided they weren't going to deliver anything until Sunday, which was about 4 days away. Sunday came and nobody showed, so we called only to find out they're closed on Sunday. Monday came and we called and were told it would be out as soon as possible as we were put on an emergency list because we were out and it's very cold outside. At night it's dropping down to 10 degrees. Today they were supposed to come out, but my wife got a message from them saying because we owe them money the driver decided to not bring us propane. We set up a payment plan to get our astronomical bill paid off easier and because of that we aren't allowed to get propane until it's paid off. Then we were told the district manager made that decision. So we were told multiple times we would get a delivery, and that it was even an "emergency" and then they decided to not bring us any propane. Just let us freeze. That's awesome. I will never have propane again, and I damn sure will never go through AmeriGas for anything, ever again.

i ran out of propane on Saturday (which I just had a delivery In December and it is now January had…read moreno idea I would run out so fast) I called and they wanted to charge $1500 to come out right then or I could get a call first thing on Monday from my local office for delivery. I said please have them call me Monday,no call. Call Tuesday said it would be an extra $199 for same day delivery or $150 for next day. I paid $150 for next day. No one showed up for delivery. I called at 5:30 was told they will still be out. Called again at 10:30pm and was told they would only come out if I paid an extra $250 emergency fee! What I already paid $150 fee for next day emergency and now they want another $250!! Then they tried to tell me next day means 72hrs before they come out! I am pregnant and have a 3yr old I have went 5 days now with no heat and no hot water. said they do not care!

And we have had SP's propane service for close to 20 years. When I went to pay their bill I was told I had to change the account into my name. No biggie! But doing so, you would think would be an easy task... NOPE, just the opposite. But once they got everything figured out and emailed me an Invoice for $0.00, I thought Hmmmm this company knows what customer service is...now that IS a frickin joke. I have received 3 different invoices since with all different totals on them. I contacted the Corp Controller and instead of messaging me back, the spinless guy passed it on to another person who passed it on and they passed it on again back to the local manager who doesn't understand customer service either. It always amazes me with companies get to a certain size who still consider themselves local small business model but run their shops like the big corporate companies do. I am a small business owner and IF I treated my clients the way this company does...I would be out of business. FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY TO PROVIDE YOUR PROPANE GAS FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU ARE USING IT FOR.
