I WOULD GIVE 0 STARTS IF I COULD - My husband and I just bought our home in November and our seller…read moretold us she had just filled the tank and we should be good through the winter, long story short, its February and I'm getting our tank re-filled. I called Ferrellgas and informed the woman on the phone that I have never had a propane tank and I know nothing about owning a propane tank, getting it filled, etc. so I had some questions for her first. I asked first, how much would it be to get the tank filled, she said that because my account hadn't been set up yet she couldn't answer that question (that didn't seem right as the cost for 400 gallons of propane should be the same regardless of my account being set up). Next, she informed me that I could be set up on a payment plan if I allowed her to pull my credit, so because I didn't know the amount I wasn't sure if I could swing the full payment all at once so I allowed her to pull my credit. Once she called back notifying me that my account was set up she told me the cost so I asked what that monthly payment would be and she aggressively said "No, you have 30 days to make the full payment, there is no payment plan." So she needlessly pulled my credit which pissed me off for obvious reasons (now I'm seeing that payment plans are available by reading reviews on several review sites - so I was 100% LIED TO). I controlled my temper and let it slide because we still had a transaction to finish and getting mad doesnt get anyone anywhere. She then told me that it would be delivered within the next 7 days and no 'appointment' would be made in advance, I informed her that we were expected to be out of town from Thursday to Sunday and asked if us not being home would be an issue with the delivery. She said that they would place a green tag on our door if we weren't home. That didn't really answer my question so I tried to ask again in a different way (thinking maybe she just didn't understand the way I asked the question) and she started speaking over me in a louder voice and repeated exactly what she just said so I tried to ask again with the EXACT same result, (so at this point I am done dealing with her and am VERY mad). I'm still not sure what's going to happen if were not home for the delivery, will they deliver it or will I need to call again when I see the tag to start the 7 day waiting period all over again. But because it is February and we need gas NOW I told her we were just going to order 200 gal of gas and my the full payment now. When spring rolls around I will be shopping for a new supplier. I CANT WAIT TO CALL THEM BACK AND TELL THEM TO COME GET THEIR CRAP OFF MY PROPERTY! She also never mentioned anything about a possible emergency delivery and being able to get the delivery same day for an extra fee, I only learned about this after reading about 50 other TERRIBLE reviews about this company on SEVERAL review sites.

So far, everything is fine…read more Here is the story: I'm packing to move to California. The storage containers aren't as big as I had hoped--for their 3 bedroom house is not the same as my 3 bedroom house. I switched cars in early 2013, and I have no trailer hitch for my bike rack. This is important because the storage containers don't seem to have enough room for my bike. I might be able to put it on the top of everything and hope that it survives, and it might be fine, but at least, I can save some hassle and get the bike rack put on the car now, so I don't have to pack it. I went into the store, which is on the west side of the road, in the tan and orange building, and the gentleman (he was both courteous and friendly) asked my reason for being there. He was quick to find my car in their database, explained to me about the correct hitch, and that it would take around 30 minutes to install. After the explanation, I asked to schedule, and he was very flexible in finding a time, of course, after the hitch arrived at their location. They did not require payment or a down payment in advance. So, I went back today, just a couple of minutes before the appointment. He had me sign some paperwork, took my key, and gave me the official estimate of 30 minutes and then, that it could take as long as 1 hour. I took a walk, had something to eat, walked back, and they were just finishing. He said that it took just the 30 minutes, as they were able to install it, just as it should be. I had asked him if they would add the bike rack, for an additional fee, and he said that they would do it. When the other person drove the car to the parking lot, the bike rack wasn't on it. I asked again, and he put it on, asked for a tool, and the other person got the tool. He then, tightened it, and didn't ask for more money.
