I called to let them know I was going to OSU for cancer surgery not to deliver anymore till I let them know. While I was gone, they delivered anyhow which I had no problem really if I lived. I get home and have late fees after late fees. I called hem and basically, they said sorry about your luck. Well, I all going to sell my house at some point and the tank will stay here. Prices are much, much higher than others in NW Ohio. We left Earhart/Superior propane opting for a company with 10$ year rental fee and propane 35 cents less per gallon. We have had nothing but excellent servicefrom new company. Feel foolish for having stayed with a rip off company for so long. I suggest you look around, you can do better! read more

Earhart Propane WAS a fantastic local company. A few years ago they sold the company to Superior Plus Propane from New York. Superior Plus is in fact the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Every single year, they make some sort of mistake in billing or delivery. All their customer service reps are work from home and very poorly trained. Since they don't work in an office with a supervisor nearby, they make very poor decisions. In addition to that, they are all EXTREMELY RUDE New Yorkers. I can't take it anymore. They will be removing their tank later this season so I can do business with another company. Superior Plus is HORRIBLE. read more

Superior plus propane has terrible customer service,my 86 yr old mother has been a customer for years,always paying her bill upon delivery,but after Superior took over the company service has went down hill, my mother has automatic fill and after she called them 4 times in sub zero weather and I called threatened to sue over elderly neglect the still let her run out of gas with tempatures below zero. read more

Awful support. Been long time customer. But haven't been filled since feb and I'm on auto everything. And now they missed the scheduled fill date they provided..and only 70 callers in front of me. I have a disabled adult in the house and I am disgusted with the service. I'm at less than 2 percent left. No real hope they'll fill it before I have to leave the residence due to the disabled adult...I can't stay with no heat, hot water, or able to cook. DISGuUSTED. read more

They are horrible!! My parents have this supplier and called for a fill on 1/30/26 and have yet to get one! Theyre down to 1 or 2%. They have turned it off so they dont get charged for flushing out the lines! Oh and they finally said 2/10/26 for a delivery! Nope!! The only good thing I can say is that it's a good thing this didn't happen in the extreme cold we have where wind chill was in the negatives! read more

This company is a joke. We are about to run out of propane for the 3rd time now on auto fill with a monitor on our tank. I have called them 4 tines in 2 days now and apparantly they dont care how cold it is and if we don't have heat because of their failure to follow the contract we have with them. read more

since Earhart's is part of superior we had nothing but problems. we switched suppliers to a local company. we contact earhart(superior) . we've been trying to get them to pick up the tank for 2 months, they called Monday and told us they would be here on Tuesday late afternoon. Earhart has been nothing but disappointment that has cost us greatly. Initially they struggled to implement their own monthly budget bill amount. After several months they were able to remedy this and get us a correct monthly bill. However, at the peak winter rates they topped of our tank, which was far from empty (45% full) and adjusted our monthly bill. They cited an increase of 40% more fuel than expected, which then was transferred to our bill as a 120% INCREASE (as in 220% of what we were quoted). I called them and told them we were done and would pay off the balance of fuel in the tank before we switch fuel providers. They continue to add charges for future fuel deliveries that we will NOT be accepting. Zero accountability and even less concern for keeping customers. read more

We had to have two regulators replaced for our propane tank. The tank is a buried one - and an older model. It was a 31 degree day! Randy worked like a trooper - even had to dig down about 2' through the dirt to get at the "meat" of the tank in order to install some copper tubing. He called for a little backup help and John came immediately (team work)!! Randy was absolutely thorough and brought this tank up to code. Amazing workers, and amazing company! Customer Service representatives in the office are pleasant and appreciated the good review when I called, and Dillon assured me he would pass on the kudos to the supervisor. We've never had to wait for propane even before the "eyes" were installed that are now attached to the tank. Earhart was right on time, every time. Call them first before any other company - if for nothing else than a quote. You will find that Earhart is the company you should go with. Thank you, Randy and John. Horrible customer service at the office. The Fuel delivery guy, Chirs, was awesome but that is about it. The office kept changing the "rules for propane delivery" Some would sent the ticket out then bill me for the delivery. Then I would talk to someone that stated the ticket is not able to be sent out until I pay for the propane. That person stated they have never allowed propane to be delivered before being paid in full, which is wrong. She then got rude with me when I asked to speak to a supervisor and told me that I can not speak with one. Then when I told them I will not be using them next year that this is the last time I will have them fill my propane, they delivered propane that I did not order and have keep billing me for the propane I did not order. I have told them several times that it is like pulling teeth to get them to deliver propane that I want and when I did not order or want more propane they are trying to get me to pay for the propane I did not want. read more

Earharts home page claims that they did not limit or deny propane to customers last year due to the shortage and below average cold weather. That is bogus. They made me wait 3 days (2 different times) without propane or any kind of heat....I have went through a divorce and don't have good credit. However other people that I know that have no credit issues were served right away. I have noticed a different "tone of voice" on the phone when dealing with their representatives, in comparison to the treatment my boyfriend gets when he calls them. He has better credit than I do, but that does not make me a bad person. I paid premium rates last year (over $1000.00) a fill up for a 330 gallon tank and I got treated like trash. I was always nice to the representative and had to beg for a delivery. I will be changing my provider as soon as I can. read more
