I've been battling with these 2 for months His wife clearly…read morehas issues and likes to lie and start problems. Ended up having to call the police to my unit due to her neurotic behavior. Now there's a missing payment Funny how they can call and harass us about a smell that isn't there but they can't let us know about a missing payment? They can cause police to be called but can't find a missing payment? The missing payment is just more bs from his highly unprofessional wife. We take pics of each money order we get. Pics at walmart,in the car, with the name and unit,at their mailbox and inside their mailbox. We wouldn't have to have a money order if his wife would stop locking us out of our account online the second their payment processor doesn't process the payment day it's due. So much for the grace period with that. Which is a violation of the contract. We have had to have our lawyers reach out to them twice last year to inform them to pull their heads from their asses about violating the contract. Clearly they need a 3rd conversation. A cease and demand is already written and ready to go out. It's up to these geniuses if it comes to that. I'Il edit to add what they decide. If you're on the waiting list or thinking about t...RUN. His wife is a nightmare and he just let's her do whatever. Highly unprofessional. I'lI also post the Police incident report case number so anyone can find it via a free public records request. Apparently Both like to lie out their ass. Katy just called and he's claiming they never got the money order. How convenient. Pictures with time stamps trump your lack of any evidence whatsoever. Also Katy gave expressed permission for them to talk to me about this account numerous times they refuse. So don't hold your breath on them being adults. If you ever give them a money order keep records of it. There's a number on the back you can call and give them the check number to see if it's been cashed. Which is what we're doing now. Sucks to suck. Always record your phone calls with these people. They are conniving smchucks that you can't trust.

In some cases, they offer average to good customer service. I've also experienced ridiculously bad customer service. The manager (who's name escapes me) is one of the most professional and helpful people I've dealt with in business. He's willing to accommodate you by showing you different options, he gives you all the information you need up front...he's recently helped us in a critical situations that otherwise would have resulted in a HUGE disaster. IF something looks too good to be true; it is! Run in the opposite direction as fast as you can!I…read morehave had my unit since March of this year. The unit started out at $39 a month. It is now July, and I was notified that my unit is now $135 a month plus their insurance that I supposedly must have. This, my friend, is highway robbery. Storage Rentals of America is a joke. This is how they get your private, personal belongings auctioned off. I've had a rate increase of over $100 in 4 months. How this is legal, I really don't know. It's bad enough to lose your home to a landlord who was indicted on federal fraud charges, Antoine Draines & Agora Realty & The Franchise Guy, for ripping people off during the pandemic but now possibly losing my belongings to a greedy storage company who obviously doesn't care about their customers and are able to get away with actions like these; is truly ridiculous. Stay away from Storage Rentals of America. I'm so disappointed with myself for choosing this company. I obviously didn't do my research. Storage Rentals of America is a prime example of corporate greed at its finest. If you're giving this company a good review, good on you! You obviously have money! Us poor people are not going to give a company that's raised our rate by almost $100 in 4 months a good review. It's not happening. We might give an employee for that company a good review but not the company itself. Storage Rentals of America doesn't allow payment arrangements either. So, if you happen to become ill and miss a shift at your place of employment, you had better be prepared to take out a small loan to pay for your storage unit or it's auctioned off. As a matter of fact, they charge a $20 late fee and lock you out of your unit if you are even one day late on your monthly payment. I truly wish that I was in a position to take my business somewhere else, but that would entail renting a uhaul, and it would cost us even more money. Storage Rentals of America knows this, and that's also why they raise the rates so high and so quickly at their own discretion.

Finally, on call 13, an employee told me that the code is not working be ause I still owed the company money (16 some $)! I was never informed of this befire. The code worked after I paid. All these calls were made when I was still in the highway. Moreover, the unit number did not exist in any of the buildings. After more calls, i was tokd to wait for next day! Luckily, the guardian there got out of her office and showed us where our unit is through a small side door!
