This crew and company were awesome!! We had a quote one day and next day we contacted to hire. We didn't have to wait long like with other tree services ranging from 2 months to 4 months. They said they would be there the next day. Promptly they were!!! They were all professional and very organized like a well oiled machine. They fell our tree in no time and the clean up was fast as well. We then had 3 stumps grounded in a blink of an eye!! We will pass their name around to all our friends and family. Will be using again in the near future. Know that you will not be disappointed in this business. Please don't hesitate to contact!! read more

I worked with F and F tree service to remove a pair of trees from my yard. The price was very good. They arrived promptly and went to work on both trees at the same time. One required a very special lift to get up to the top of the dead ash tree that had multiple power lines around it. The crew was professional. They estimated that it the job would finish in one day but it was impacted by another customer who had a tree fall on their house. They came out the next morning and removed the stump. After they left some things need to be pointed out. 1. Ensure you specify what must not be damaged before they start. 2. While they were prompt they were not as organized as I had expected. Small things like they forget to bring cans of diesel to fill the equipment. The rake to sweep the street. 3. My neighbors mail box post was badly damaged, I repaired it. The could have trimmed more of the section that they dropped to prevent it from hitting the mailbox post. 4. I am not sure of the long term issue but normally some mulch is left on top of ground up stumps to allow for settling. This did not happen on either tree. Finally the bottom line, I would recommend them to anyone need tree work done and I will likely have them come out and top my maple this fall or next spring. Bryan in Beavercreek read more

Took down a tree and ground some stumps for us. They made very quick work of it. These guys are very professional and I highly recommend.

I have 9-10 trees in the back of my property that have become very crowded over the years and with a new home being built right up against that tree line, I wanted to find an affordable way to get the branches thinned out, give the trees some breathing room, get the branches that were hanging over my neighbors house, and get more sun into that back part of the yard. I knew I didn't have the money to take down too many trees but had at least one clump of hackberry trunks that had already started falling that needed taking out. I talked to three different companies and got free quotes from all of them. The first wasn't well known and the guy worked off a phone template and I felt he underbid himself and I wasn't confident they would do all the work I wanted done. He also only quoted about half the trees I had. His quote came in around $2500. Next, I talked to F&F, who was recommended to me by my father and my younger brother. Daniel was great. He walked me through all the issues he saw, agreed about taking down the clump of hackberry's that were falling, and was confident he could thin out the rest and allow the trees more breathing space and more sun in the back yard of my neighbor. On top of that he informed me that I needed to cut down by half the four Asian pear trees I have in my front yard, or they would split and fall soon. Overall, he quoted me $6000 for a total of 13-14 trees. I also got a quote from 3N1 Trees who also came highly recommended. 3N1 came in around the same price as F&F but was more focused on taking down a leaning hackberry that I felt they would spend less time on trimming the remaining trees. In the end I went with F&F due to Daniel's knowledge and insight and his extensive pictures of work he had done in the past. He gave me confidence that his work would be thorough and meticulous. He also was confident he could balance out the leaning Hackberry that 3N1 was so concerned about and didn't feel it needed taking down (3N1 quoted $3000 on that tree alone). I am very happy I went with F&F and will use them again in the future for tree services. He had a large crew that showed up a few weeks later and they started about 9am and finished up around 3:30pm. They worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, but with all the thoroughness they promised. The final result is a much more open backyard, but maintaining the beautiful tree line that we fell in love with when we bought the house. My Asian pears are growing back in healthy after their trim and my neighbor has also been very happy with the result. So, in the end I highly recommend F&F. While they won't offer you the lowest price, their pricing is fair and guarantees the best job. I can also add that all my trees are doing very well, even with our hot summer. In past years my oaks and hackberrys would get sickly looking by summer with withered leaves and this summer they have been healthy looking and happy. This alone shows me that F&F know trees and how best to trim and shape them, not just hack away a few branches and call it done. read more

We needed to get some big trees trimmed back and away from our garage. Huge limbs overhanging the structure, etc. These were big trees (Hackberry and Black Walnut). We had phone and internet lines running across the access way and they had to remove and replace a section of fence to gain full access. (We had done that before, so provided some help with that.) We obtained several quotes. F&F was the most competitive and we liked their previous reviews. Daniel was very responsive, came over the day we called, sized up the job, and gave us his quote on the spot. He got to it in less than a week (I guess we called at the right time of year), and they finished the job in about five hours. It was a chilly Feb day in Ohio, but they got it done. The equipment was state-of-the art, the crew was highly experienced and knew what they were doing. We asked to save some of the cutting for the firepit and they stacked it where we asked them to. This was a challenging job and they handled it with seasoned expertise, with no damage to any structures or wires, they cleaned everything up, and even shaped a smaller tree out front, not really part of the original job, in exchange for lunch. Great guys! An excellent team. They can handle any size job. Will use them again. read more

These guys are amazing! They are quick and professional. I had 2 trees that needed cut down and the stumps grinded and they were done in 4 1/2 hours. One tree was very large and there was absolutely no damage. They also went above and beyond to clean up and brought the best equipment to get the job done. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely reuse them in the future! read more

Daniel did not follow through with what he said he would do. He never showed up, will not answer calls, and went back on his word.

I was very pleased with the work Daniel and his crew did trimming my trees. They knocked it out quickly and cleaned everything up. The trees look great! Also, I got a cord of wood from him. It was a FULL cord and all hardwood. Once again, I couldn't be happier with the quality and service. read more

We ordered a cord of wood. They were able to deliver it on the same day I called. It was a very generous cord with a great mixture of hard and soft woods. A great deal for the money. read more

Friendly, punctual, and professional. Purchased firewood, from F&F recently, and plan on using them for tree service in the near future.

Came in fast and did the job well. We had them take out some large evergreen box bushes and they did a great job. Didn't landscape after but that's not what we were paying them for. Less than two hours for 10 large bushes and a fruit tree read more

Very satisfied with F&F! From the estimate to the finished job, all was wonderful and Daniel was great to work with.

Once again you guys are the best. Cleaned up a bunch of stuff on our side yard. I came home to a yard that we never would would have gotten to look as good. You all are the best!! read more

F & F was highly professional, quick quote, low cost, completed the job efficiently, and cleaned up after completion. I highly recommend!

The nicest, cleanest firewood I have seen and when he says a cord, he leaves a FULL CORD.

F&F was fantastic! I had a tree fall in a recent storm that was blocking my driveway. I called for a quote and within a couple hours they provided that. The price was reasonable and included disposal of the fallen tree, cutting and removal of the partial tree still standing, and stump grinding. They completed the job quickly, safely, and professionally. Their service was incredible and I'd definitely use them again! read more

F & F Tree Service is fantastic. They removed a dangling dead branch, a tree and some bushes. They did an excellent job. They even cleaned up after themselves. I have been dreading hiring a tree service because I hear so many bad stories. I will have more work for them in the future. read more

F and F did a fantastic job at our house removing an extremely large tree which was hanging over our house and the house next door! Furthermore they helped us remove another 7 trees by trimming them and laying them down and we ended up doing most of the work. Finally they came back two weeks later to remove over 10 tree stumps and over 15 bush stumps. Their service, expertise, and price was unbeatable. We hope to use them in the future and have recommended them to several friends already. read more

Daniel and his team did a great job removing my dead ash tree and roots in my front yard. They know what they are doing and the job took no time at all. I would highly recommend. read more

We had two huge trees removed from our backyard this week. Both were close to our house and a neighbors house and they removed them carefully and efficiently. The crew was professional and polite. The job was well planned with the right equipment and the right number of people to get the job done. Other companies said this job would take 3-4 days. F&F did it in one day and we couldn't be happier with the results! They cut down the trees, hauled away the wood we didn't want, neatly stacked the rest, ground the stumps, and cleaned up all the debris. Exceptional work! read more

The guys at F&F Tree Service were fabulous!!! It started with the estimate - I knew that I wanted the trees trimmed, but I didn't know the best things to do to keep them healthy. They proactively told me what their recommendations were to keep the trees in good shape. The called a couple of days before to let me know when they would be there, and they were on time! When they got there, they had all of the equipment and manpower needed to do the job well!! They were very efficient, clean, and courteous! When they were done, the only way you could tell they'd been in the yard were the beautiful trees - they left my lawn in better condition than it was in before they got there! I will recommend them to all of my friends! First rate crew! Thank you for a job well done! read more

I have had quite a few tree guys over the years, mostly door to door kind with many hairy moments and shoddy work. I decided to try out F&F based on the Yelp reviews. After an initial mix up on addresses, Daniel was at my house the same evening for a quote. His quote was a little bit over the average door to door tree guy but not by much. Daniel estimated he would be back within a week to do the work. To my surprise he was back in two days. Daniel and his crew were very efficient and had the first tree down in five minutes of arrival. They also had all the equipment they needed to complete the work upon arrival. Within a little over an hour they had two trees down, stumps ground and the yard cleaned up. They were efficient and very professional. I think Daniel has met his goal of becoming a world class tree service. The only nit was they showed up on a Saturday morning with no notice. Fortunately we were home and it did not present a problem. I will have them back in the Fall to do two more trees. read more

After a recent storm I ended up with several trees down and damaged. There were tree service drive bys inundating me with offers of service, but my previous experience with them has been not so good: cut up trees left in a pile, nearby trees broken, etc. I have turned to Yelp and found this company. Even though it was Friday evening, Daniel, the owner, answered the call promptly and was over that evening to do the assessment. Monday they were at work, promptly, and Daniel was doing the main part of the job. There were seven men, who worked together very well, as a team, you could see that they knew what to do and what everyone's job was. I had wildflowers and other trees around, and specifically asked Daniel to be careful with flowers. Absolutely no damage was done to them or any other trees. They have a bucket that folds into small caterpillar on treads guided by remote control and able to get into tight spaces, unfold, and lift the person to any height, plus they used a pulley of ropes where needed to lower branches in controlled fashion. They left the place clean, firewood neatly stacked, nothing damaged, big job done in four hours! For very reasonable price. I recommend them without hesitation and will definitely use them again. read more

I read the reviews of F&F Tree Service and figured I found a great tree company to use. I called, the person I talked with said they would be out later that day to look at what I needed done. He came out, gave me a price, & I accepted the price. I asked when he would be back out to do the job of removing the tree. He said perhaps tomorrow or the next day, no later the following week. "Great, see you then" I said. I called the two tree companies I had gotten and estimate from and the one that was scheduled for the next day and said I had found someone else to do the tree removal and thanked them for their time. That was in mid October and still no one from F&F has come by to take out the tree. I finally called another company to do the work. The other company gave me a cheaper price and was out the next day to do the work. Sorry to give F&F Tree Service a bad review but when you tell someone you will be out to do a job, you should show up and do the job or call the customer to let them know when you can do the job. read more

Great service! Daniel and the crew are super friendly and courteous. The crew came prepared to work with all the safety gear and boy did they work. From the time they arrived until they left they were working. I had almost .5 acres completely removed of honeysuckle, trees, and overgrown brush and weeds. They showed up right as scheduled and were complete including cleanup in just under 5 hours. The price for this service was exceptional! Way less expensive than some of the others around. We will definitely be using them again! read more

F & F is an excellent tree service. Quick, efficient, safe, and polite. The tree they took down was between the house and the street. No problems. The low hanging branches on other trees were over garages or fences, again no problem. The yard looks great now! The price was very reasonable too!!! I highly recommend F & F for all your tree services!! read more

Gave a fair estimate for service but showed up, unannounced, while my husband and I were at work. Our responsible nanny protested but they continued to work until I spoke with the supervisor/owner personally. I told him that we needed to be made aware of the crew's arrival prior to them entering our property (we were under the impression he would call us with the availability). He informed me that I was inconveniencing his crew and we would be charged extra if we called him to come back out (obviously we elected to go with a different service). We feel that having a large crew of people on our property continue to work, despite the protest of our nanny, is trespassing. We also had not officially agreed on the extent of the work that was to be done. I cannot comment on their work itself (the crew left the mess after I asked them to leave), but we found their business practices unacceptable. read more
