I cannot say enough positive things about this company. If you need tree work done and you do not at least call MRB and get a quote it is your loss. They were amazing for a very competitive price compared to 2 others who quoted. Mike was very nice and forthcoming on the work. I got a quote with pictures detailing what would happen. Prior to the work we had some heavy rain, Mike called and he pushed back the work so the yard could dry and would cause less damage to my yard. Super nice about it too. He had a large crew with multiple pieces of large equipment. Everyone was professional and did excellent work. 1 tree was close to 2 houses and a fence, no problem for these guys. They plywood boarded my side yard where they had to drive alot of the equipment. Considering how much rain we had had a couple days before, and the fact that all the water from my house and my neighbors runs under my gate, my yard was left in great shape (be realistic...they're cutting down and hauling away trees, some grass will be tread over...it'll be okay). Mike's guys did a great job on cleanup by raking and leaf blowing. They even scooped up and hauled away the mounds left over from grinding the stumps. My father in law brought a trailer for the large logs and Mike's crew gladly loaded it with their tracked loader. No questions asked no complaints. It took 3 trips and Mike offered to have his crew wait a couple minutes to load up the trailer with the last load. We got back in time so he didn't have to wait but it was very kind of him to offer. I can't say enough good things about the job they did. Please support this business. For all the crummy contractors I've run into I want to keep the good ones around for the next time I need to have work done.

They may remove your tree, but they'll also ruin your day…read more I'm flabbergasted about how a company that treats their customers as we've been treated is able to stay in business. We got an estimate in July for a tree removal. Called to give the go ahead 2 days later, and they said they were scheduling ~ 3 weeks out. I didn't hear from Tom at all until early September, when he called to say they'd be coming the next day. They no-showed and I heard nothing from Tom. I called a week later to see what was going on, and he said he'd be able to get it done the next week. Sounded good. Left a message Tuesday that the job could get done Wednesday. Again, sounded good. Did I want the work done? Yes- and I had been very patient. It is now late September. The crew show us, and without introducing himself, the tree climber (who I now know is Don) approached me and started berating me, saying that it wasn't safe to be working that day because it was "raining" (it was in fact not raining at all, but did drizzle later in the day), and that they only reason they were there was because *I* forced them to be there. He was obviously furious, picked up his chainsaw, and jumped in to the bucket. No one bothered to say a single pleasant thing, to introduce themselves, or even to confirm which tree they were cutting down. My suspicion is that Tom lied to his guys because *he* wanted them to do the job, and blamed it on me. I was really take aback by this, as was my husband who had been just a few steps away. To be honest, I'm not okay with chainsaw-wielding assholes coming at me on my property, and I definitely didn't want them doing something they didn't consider safe. I immediately called Tom and told him he needed to call me back and stop work until this was resolved. He ignored multiple calls, voicemails, and texts. I repeatedly said I wanted the work to stop. I did not feel comfortable confronting this furious man myself. When we finally got him on the phone, he insisted there was no way for him to contact his crew. Apparently Don does this to customers on the regular (like 10 times before???) and Tom had done nothing. He offered nothing to make it right. They completed the word despite us repeatedly asking them to leave. Tom was totally unreachable, and appears to be totally delusional about how to run a business. Treating customers like crap is just not okay. Do better, Tom.

I had to reach out to his wife multiple times to see about scheduling a day for the work to get done, Chris then told me he was booked out for the next week and can't schedule a specific day, so last night around 9pm, Chris texted me and said he can come out in the morning between 7:30am-8:00am, he never showed due to his helper not showing up for work, he then got ahold of me again, at 9:00pm at night, to show up the next morning less than 12hrs away around 8:00am, I stated to him I would need a heads up for my job to let them know so I am not just calling off work, I guess he doesn't respect other peoples business's or their personal time.

Samson came in with a very reasonable price and did not have to negotiate. They clearly had the top of the line equipment with an 80 foot cherry picker to get the job done. All large limbs were tied down and brought to the ground as opposed to the cut and pray approach. When the job was completed, the yard was actually cleaner than it was prior to the job.
