We had MRB Tree Service come out and cut down 3 trees, grind up the stumps, remove the brush, and trim and shape a large oak tree at our house. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. If you need tree work done and you do not at least call MRB and get a quote it is your loss. They were amazing for a very competitive price compared to 2 others who quoted. Mike was very nice and forthcoming on the work. I got a quote with pictures detailing what would happen. Prior to the work we had some heavy rain, Mike called and he pushed back the work so the yard could dry and would cause less damage to my yard. Super nice about it too. He had a large crew with multiple pieces of large equipment. Everyone was professional and did excellent work. 1 tree was close to 2 houses and a fence, no problem for these guys. They plywood boarded my side yard where they had to drive alot of the equipment. Considering how much rain we had had a couple days before, and the fact that all the water from my house and my neighbors runs under my gate, my yard was left in great shape (be realistic...they're cutting down and hauling away trees, some grass will be tread over...it'll be okay). Mike's guys did a great job on cleanup by raking and leaf blowing. They even scooped up and hauled away the mounds left over from grinding the stumps. My father in law brought a trailer for the large logs and Mike's crew gladly loaded it with their tracked loader. No questions asked no complaints. It took 3 trips and Mike offered to have his crew wait a couple minutes to load up the trailer with the last load. We got back in time so he didn't have to wait but it was very kind of him to offer. I can't say enough good things about the job they did. Please support this business. The owner came over for thorough walk thru, provided us a timely and reasonable estimate, as well as timeframe to do the work. The crew came today to take down the massive tree that has been a concern as it started dying after the tornado. The MRB crew was like a well-oiled machine - they worked non-stop with precision. They removed all debris off of the property afterwards, and it was hard to tell anyone had been there doing such a massive effort. They also trimmed/elevated 2 very large pine trees, removed dead portion of our beautiful sugar maple tree, cut off limbs of other trees in the back. They did an incredible job! I called twice to get an estimate on removing two dead trees from my backyard. The first time, I was told I was on the schedule for Saturday and "Mike" would call me half an hour before he arrived. He never called. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and called again to reschedule a couple of weeks later. I was asked to send a text message with my info and they would get back to me. Professionalism: These guys are really great. Mike, the owner, is one of the most professional people I dealt with while searching for someone to take down a couple of ash trees. When he knew They were getting backed up on their schedule due to weather he let me know right away that we would have to postpone a couple weeks. Price: They were $250 cheaper than anyone else. Quality: They did an incredible job. Took down two massive ash trees and only had two small dents in the yard. Chipped everything and left the chips exactly where I wanted them to re do the beds in my yard. Trees that they limbed up look really nice and still full, but not low to the ground. Above and beyond: besides just putting the chips exactly where I wanted them, they chipped up and hauled away a brush pile I had growing. He also limbed up some other trees on the property free of charge. And when he came out to grind the stumps, he grinded a root that is always in my way while mowing. All for nothing extra. Professional and honest! Mike came out to my house to cut down three trees with stump removal and trim another five trees. I live Downtown, so there is not a ton of room to maneuver, and the trees are extremely close to my neighbor's houses. Mike used a rope technique and climbed the tree as opposed to using a bucket-lift technique. This gave him more control over what he was doing. My yard has a privacy fence with a small opening, so Mike worked with me to figure out a plan to get the stump grinder into my backyard. We actually had to cut some of the fence down and repair it, of which he did at no additional cost!He was very detailed and new exactly what he was doing. He came back to my house multiple times to make sure I was good with the work they did. My yard was cleaner after they left than it was even before they were at my house.
