Before leaving for a vacation in late June 2022, a wind storm dropped several trees. Both my neighbor and I cut all trees that fell to the ground however my neighbor requested service for cutting tree limbs from high areas. While I was on my vacation a week later, my neighbor's tree appointment was conducted. Because of areas difficult to reach from his yard, Tree-mend-us took the liberty to use my property to access the neighbor's trees. Of course, without asking for my approval to use my property. They proceeded with moving equipment into my driveway and ran into a gazebo. During his service, the trucks and service equipment used during the tree trimming dripped oil and other lubricants (unable to be removed with a residential power washer) over many areas on my driveway. These stains could easily have been prevented by putting cardboard over the leaky motor, but there was no consideration to those who aren't watching.... I called the salesman who visited my property and consented to the damage. He agreed to replace the gazebo and asked to fund me for the driveway stains or clean it himself. Fortunately, they replaced the gazebo before disappearing (good). However, the driveway is still oil ridden and no funding has occurred even after being requested. Again, as an innocent bystander seeking things to be brought back to the original condition, I attempted removal of the oil with gas, goof-off, and a 3100-psi pressure sprayer to remove the grime. 70% fruitful but... Not able to return to the original finish. FAIL! It has been since 6/29 since the damage occurred (today 9/19/22) and it's still is not complete after several attempts to reach out to the Sale Rep. For the few responses they have made, the sales rep continues to make promises without a commitment or results. So, all folks considering doing business with Tree-Mend-Us, be aware, the commitment to doing things right or asking permission before using... will not be part of the deal. Consult your neighbors first, so they can look out for their property. Tree-Mend-Us is there to get only the job done, no matter what it takes to get there... Out-of-site; Out-of-Mind. They don't care about preventing damage or caring for the damage after realizing it....

Some thick branches of honeysuckle were growing in between a wire fence so they were even more challenging to remove. They removed the wire fence and rolled it up nicely. They ground out the stumps of the large trees and cleaned up all areas leaving them looking 1000% better. We will now be able to landscape the areas. Very personable and professional, very detail oriented, and substantially less expensive than other tree removal services. I highly recommend this company without any hesitation.

We got an estimate in July for a tree removal. Called to give the go ahead 2 days later, and they said they were scheduling ~ 3 weeks out. I didn't hear from Tom at all until early September, when he called to say they'd be coming the next day. They no-showed and I heard nothing from Tom. I called a week later to see what was going on, and he said he'd be able to get it done the next week. Sounded good. Left a message Tuesday that the job could get done Wednesday. Again, sounded good. Did I want the work done? Yes- and I had been very patient. It is now late September. The crew show us, and without introducing himself, the tree climber (who I now know is Don) approached me and started berating me, saying that it wasn't safe to be working that day because it was "raining" (it was in fact not raining at all, but did drizzle later in the day), and that they only reason they were there was because *I* forced them to be there. He was obviously furious, picked up his chainsaw, and jumped in to the bucket. No one bothered to say a single pleasant thing, to introduce themselves, or even to confirm which tree they were cutting down. My suspicion is that Tom lied to his guys because *he* wanted them to do the job, and blamed it on me. I was really take aback by this, as was my husband who had been just a few steps away. To be honest, I'm not okay with chainsaw-wielding assholes coming at me on my property, and I definitely didn't want them doing something they didn't consider safe. I immediately called Tom and told him he needed to call me back and stop work until this was resolved. He ignored multiple calls, voicemails, and texts. I repeatedly said I wanted the work to stop. I did not feel comfortable confronting this furious man myself. When we finally got him on the phone, he insisted there was no way for him to contact his crew. Apparently Don does this to customers on the regular (like 10 times before???) and Tom had done nothing. He offered nothing to make it right. They completed the word despite us repeatedly asking them to leave. Tom was totally unreachable, and appears to be totally delusional about how to run a business. Treating customers like crap is just not okay. Do better, Tom.

They don't deserve your business. AVOID.
