Lovely quaint hotel with a great location just a couple minutes walk to shops & restaurants. The contactless process was easy & no problem not having housekeeping during our 3 day stay. We stayed in Heron suite. The best of the rooms on our opinion. Wrap around balcony overlooking the courtyard & very private. A comfortable bed. All amenities keurig coffee maker with plenty of kcups & kitchen ware/wine opener, paper towels, blow dryer, large lighted makeup mirror, iron, etc. Ice maker at the bottom of the stairs. The air conditioner worked awesome & that's not always the case with hotels. A large ceiling fan in the sitting room too. The tv quality was great too. The courtyard is beautiful with patio tables & umbrellas. Easy to relax & listen to the fountain. Dr.

In this photo is a pool and a spa AT A DIFFERENT HOTEL because Su Nido doesn't flipping have one!!

I just checked in. You advertise a pool and a spa on your website but there is no pool or spa! It's a mile down the road at a different hotel!

This is a delightful little hotel. We are staying in the Cardinal room and it is thoughtfully decorated and well provisioned. All the rooms are suites and seem well spaced out. The location doesn't get any better in Ojai as it sits about a block from the main strip. Our room has a lovely sitting area and the courtyard is tasteful and lovely. It is definitely pricey, but Ojai in general is pretty pricey right now as it serves as a nearby getaway for many communities of home bound Coronavirus battlers. It also doesn't have its own pool, which is not really clear on the website. You can use the pool at their sister hotel, but it's a bit far to walk and one of the best things about Ojai is that one doesn't need to drive anywhere.

The gorgeous wooden doors and Spanish tiles were breathtaking

My husband and I recently stayed in the Sparrow Room at Su Nido Inn. The room was quiet, and the bed and linens were exquisite. The vaulted ceiling and beams made the room feel elegant and spacious. The Molten Brown bath and body products in the bath felt indulgent. The entire property is simply lovely with it's clay tile roofs and stucco finishes. My favorite touch was the Spanish tile on the risers going up to our room which overlooked the courtyard and the jaw-dropping, arched wooden door. At night we shared a bottle of chilled, local Chardonnay in the courtyard while relaxing to the sound of trickling water in the fountain. The twinkle lights in the trees created a charming fairytale ambiance. Ojai is a gorgeous getaway location and the Su Nido Inn is the perfect place to stay while in town. On this trip we enjoyed visiting the nearby missions, Soule Park Golf Course , and the tasting Ojai Food Tour. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect for our NYE celebration. The place was spacious, clean and so comfortable. Very calming space. Easiest parking! Loved the bikes they have on site to explore the town. Customer service was also exceptional. Truly a hidden gem that I will revisit soon!

We spent one night at Su Nido for Mr R's birthday. We thought it was a good way to try out a small B&B type of hotel and see if its something we'd like to do for multiple nights in the future. Su Nido was beautiful and features a gorgeous courtyard. The rooms were so comfortable and large. They are really like small apartments - even including all the little, tasteful decorations. We had a little bookshelf in our suite that had little frames, birds, wooden games, etc on it. Many nice little amenities such as the Molton Brown toiletries and snacks/drinks in the room. WiFi is included, however it was very slow and would drop in certain rooms of the suite. The property is very nicely located and you can walk easily to shopping and many restaurants. It wasn't a particularly warm reception. Considering there were only 2 other couples staying at the property that night, you'd expect something more welcoming than, "Checking in? Last name?" Oh! Hello to you too! Overall, Mr R loved the place much more than I did. I still did very much enjoy it and after checking out another Ojai property next time, I would return to Su Nido.

Spent a week here for something work related. This quaint little 12 room spot allowed me some ambiguity while the rest of the group stayed at the colossal (yet beautiful) resort and used their free time for golf - borrrring. I arrived here on a Sunday afternoon and it was so peaceful. I was shown to my suite and told there were bikes available to borrow. Awww:) The awesome view and adorable decor in my apartment-style suite, along with the yummy snacks and tea and coffee made me want to stay forever. I wasn't able to make any of the poolside yoga sessions offered at their sister property but I had my travel mat and plenty of room on the tile in front of my living room fireplace. Thank you Su Nido, for some zen during an otherwise hectic week!

It's about a mile away from the "stuff" in town, which is totally walkable. We did find it to be a bit of a drag walking back to the hotel at the end of the day. I booked a room in October of 2025 for a wedding in May 2026 (May 21-May 23). I just received an email this morning letting me know I did not have a room due to construction going on in my particular room which began in January and will not be complete by the time I check in. Not only did Julia not give me any suggestions of where to go, she actually had a room available at a higher cost which she a) did not offer to me for the inconvenience b) did not offer it to me at a discount. Before she emailed me this should have taken care of. Julia's bad planning basically caused me to have to spend a lot more money or cancel the much anticipated wedding of a very close friend. Julia kept silent after apologizing (not profusely btw) for the "inconvenience" she caused. I should have not even heard from her until check in with a "i'm sorry but your original room is under construction so we gave you this better room" I gave the name of this hotel to 2 other people and booked so so far in advance. She did refund my money but it is Memorial day weekend and prices have skyrocketed and nothing is available. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be treated fairly. She had the nerve to tell me the room that was available was a lot more money with no discount nothing. This woman has ZERO business acumen and I can not say enough bad things about her in this one post. It was such an "Oh Well" attitude ...She had so many options to give a) offer me the room b) offer me the room at a discounted rate c) find me a room during the most crowded weekend and offer to pay the difference d) offer me a coupon to come back with a free night ........awful awful awful .....I hope the other people in the party cancel and find something else but they are probably stuck here because nothing is available.

It is very clean and the renovations were clearly very intentional with design in mind. It is an incredibly cohesive property. The rooms themselves are comfortable and I loved that the temperature was very adjustable. The bathroom was a bit bizarre. I will never understand the appeal to the shower design. It's the kind of shower that is only separated from the rest of the bathroom by half of a glass wall. Which just means, no matter how careful you are, the entire bathroom will be soaked. In terms of property amenities, the ample free parking was a huge plus. And the complementary bikes seemed great, thought we didn't get a chance to take advantage of them. There is a nice large field in the back which would be a great place to stargaze at night. We did check out the hot tub on the last morning, and I was very disappointed that it was hardly warm. The rooms come with a unique selection of snacks for purchase, but I was shocked to see they were charging $4 for the packet of instant coffee next to the kettle. I'm glad I noticed they were charging for that, because I would've assumed it was free. No chance that's worth it. There was decent coffee available in the lobby for free. When looking at a map, it showed it was only a 10-15 minute walk into the main stretch of town, so we planned to walk daily. Unfortunately, there is just enough distance on the road between the hotel and the downtown where there is no sidewalk, to a point where we felt it would be unsafe to walk at night. So we had to drive 2 minutes down the road instead. If they were able to create a path with a street lamp or two, that would make a huge difference! The staff was incredibly nice and I was glad they were able to help out with anything we needed! I did find it a bit odd that the hotel is only staffed 8AM-10PM. Apart from offering an equally bad room the next day (after the smell had started to wane), removing the refrigerator and replacing our towels, there was essentially no effort to make this right. Staff explained door keys often fail if they're placed near a cell phone -- as though that is normal! When I inquired as to the added charge, they simply said that I was undercharged for the room, that they had mistakenly given me the wrong price. However, I stressed that the price I paid was the price that they had agreed to. Also, they never mentioned anything about undercharging me when I paid for the room; it was only after I returned home that they took the liberty of charging me extra. This didn't matter to manager Jennifer. This is very unprofessional, and simply put, just a stupid and unethical thing to do from a business point of view. It appears that they have financial problems: the sink in my room was plugged and the mattress is old; also oddly, there is no one on the premises until 3pm and no one there in the early morning, so does that mean that they have no night clerk? They cut corners and overcharge customers that are not regulars. This is low-class, third world treatment in an upscale town. In my opinion, new management is in order if they want to stay in business. There are plenty of other hotels and B&Bs in town that don't feel free to mess with your credit card when you're not looking.
