Too unfortunately the studio cafe is going to be one that I do not recommend to a lot of folks visiting. It's VERY expensive. There are a few snack / convenience store items at this spot but everything is pricy. The sandwiches taste like they're days old... the white claw was $14 (I think you can get a 12-pack cheaper than this)... I KNOW it is a theme park but still... a little outrageous. There was no one in here when we ventured in which is why it does get some stars. I like a place to myself - why not. The staff members seemed a bit aloof... I did enjoy the despicable me / minion cotton candy though... it was delicious and really adorable but boy was it pricy. I think I mentioned this but the rest of the park is way less expensive. $$$ for sure. Only come here if you have to... I think they should transform this place into something else. It also isn't themed too well considering what is around it especially with Super Mario World right next door. I hope they can re-theme... glad to have experienced it though!

Roasted Turkey leg at the Studio Cafe

When Universal Studios is ridiculously crowded and there's no restaurant with an available seat, a fairly quick choice for a light meal is Studio Cafe. There's a limited selection of hot and cold items, different beverages and desserts; it's ridiculously overpriced but the quality of the food is fairly good for a non-sit-down restaurant. I'm a fan of the giant roasted Turkey leg, even though I don't often finish it; it's fun to eat-makes you connect with your inner barbarian.

Great grab and go cafe! Set up like a market, this cafe has prepackaged and prepared foods (pizza, sandwiches, salads, chicken, fruit, veggies, cute desserts, etc.) and drinks. Simply grab what you want and head to the registers. Seating was located outside in an area shared with Panda Express. My friend and I visited the park for Halloween Horror Nights and were looking for a place in the park that had something for vegetarians (me). We stumbled across this cafe and didn't have to look any further. The restaurant wasn't crowded and there was plenty of seating available. The selection wasn't huge but it was perfect for me... Veggie Bahn Mi sandwiche and a fruit cup! My friend had the pizza and a White Claw Hard Seltzer. Surprisingly, the food was great! My sandwich was not soggy as I feared it might be. It was actually better than some Banh Mis I've had at Vietnamese restaurants! The pickled carrots really made the sandwich. Pricing was standard for the park. Customer service was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back.

Tofu dish-the only Vegan dish in the Park

This is located next to the Transformer Ride in the lower lot. No lines- you just grab what you want and pay. I noticed the upper lots had significantly longer lines for food. They have sandwiches, salads, sliced fruit cups, chocolate covered strawberries and more! They also sell mini bottles of wine. There are tables outside to the rear of the cafe where you can enjoy your food. They have the only vegan dish I have found in the park- a peanut Thai noodle dish. Which was tasty and filling. It came with watermelon slices and kimchi. Sure, as a vegan you might be able to find a couple side dishes in other parts of the park such as French Fries from the Krusty Burger and Corn on the Cob from the Three Broomsticks, but this is the only place you will find a satisfying meal as a vegan. Universal Studios- please add more vegan options to your menu!!! Great place for healthier food alternatives and considerably less packed than the upper lot!!!

It feels like a quiet escape, and the food more than makes up for the location. You have to try the Beyond Ramen--the broth is rich and hits all the right savory notes. We also grabbed the fried cauliflower wings (pictured), and they had the perfect crunch. Pro Tip: Grab a seat in their outdoor seating area. It's super chill and makes for a great vibe while you eat. If you're looking for a solid plant-based spot that isn't the usual crowded scene, this is it!

Was pretty packed!…read more We wanted to try a vegan place and this was top of mind! We pass by this place a lot and finally stoped by to try. There is a small lot but you can park on the street (watch meters) and in the neighborhood (read the signs). Menu is via QR code but you can ask for a paper menu. The prices on the paper menu are incorrect and some items are no longer available. Food was tasty though as someone who doesn't prefer mushrooms I did have to really read the ingredients. We saw lots of other parties order the crispy tofu and it looked really good! But we ended up trying the house yaki udon, kaboucha ramen, and dragon roll. The yaki udon tasted good but it really is just stir fried noodles with veggies so it made sense it was lower priced than other entrees. The kaboucha ramen was flavorful and a little spicy (you can pick spice levels). The broth was creamy. We finished with the crispy dragon roll. The crispy shrimp didn't come out that well versus the rice but still a good choice.

I want to start by saying, that my wife and I give every vegan place a shot, as there are so few…read moreleft. That being said, We were in NoHo, and saw "The Vegan & More" in Studio City, so we made a detour, and decided to give this establishment a try. The address for this place is simple, however, when you look for the marquee that reads "The Vegan & More" you don't see it. What you do see is at the same address (and they happen to have a Yelp Page for that restaurant too BTW) is the Jumpin Java Kitchen, which has been there since 1995! As you can see from the photos, this place that first attracted us to come, is not a full blown restaurant, nor a pop-up (that we also passed on this a.m.) but a page from the menu from another restaurant. To me, this is what one would call BAIT AND SWITCH. Now let's get on to what was ordered.. My wife ordered the Vegan Egg Scramble.. and mind you, the photo that they showcase both on Yelp and Google, is FAR FROM what they served. The key to this dish is the vegan egg... not the veggies... .and you can see from our posted photos, from this a.m. there's barely anything there... which is why my wife didn't eat it. Now there are a few things that really bug me here... 1. The Vegan & More should not have a page on Yelp,a and Yes, I am going to complain, as when we arrived at the address, there's absolutely NOTHING there to say we were in the right place, other than the address. Also when we asked the server, he confirmed they have Vegan Options.. Not once was the name "Vegan & More" mentioned! 2. Portions, what you advertise from your photos, IS NOT what you serve. Forget about the overabundant of "home potatoes" that costs you nothing, but the very key of the meal, for a vegan to eat, you barely put anything on... yet while your photos show otherwise... 3. When the server asked if we wanted a box, and we refused, you would think the owner would be notified that the meal hasn't be touched... but no.. nothing. We got the check, paid WAY TOO MUCH for barely anything... Did I eat, yes, was it good, it was ok... but that's not why we were here... A new Vegan Restaurant in Studio City is what brought us here... However, FULL TRANSPARENCY is needed! Don't say one thing, and be something else... not even a mention to rebranding, nothing... Jumpin Java Kitchen IS what is where you would expect to find The Vegan & More"... Beware....!!!!

Worst Vegan food experience I've had. Male server with beard and glasses was rude and threw menus…read more My partner had a question about about one of the smoothies and he just stopped mid sentence and walked away. He made the smoothie without her saying she even wanted it so we got stuck with that. Breakfast burrito had no seasoning. Pancakes tasted like nothing and they only gave us about 2tbsp of syrup. Did not check on us at all even when we motioned to them. We waited and waited for the check and 3 different servers asked how the food was. We said it's was not good and we're obviously unhappy. No one made any attempt to converse with us or offer anything other than the bill. $70 for bad service, weird attitudes and bland food.
