After our second ride of the day, we figured we'd grab a quick bite to keep us going. Mummy Eats was advertising something called a Korean-Style Corn Dog ("with bag of chips"). I certainly can't say no to something that intriguing, so we placed an order and we were quickly off to the races. It's really good. It's basically a regular corn dog that's been covered in crispy bits and infused with a healthy amount of melty cheese. What's not to like? The bag of chips were highly unnecessary but of course I gobbled them all up.

Mummy Eats is conveniently located on the bottom lot by the Mummy Ride, which is great for grabbing a quick bite while exploring the park. Be prepared for a pretty long wait. We ordered the Korean Corn Dog and the Spicy Corn Dog, both of which came with chips. As expected for theme park food, the prices were on the higher side. Once we placed our order, though, the food came out surprisingly fast, which was a nice plus after the wait. The Korean Corn Dog was the highlight for me. The crunchy outer layer was satisfying, and the cheese filling added a nice touch. On the other hand, the Spicy Corn Dog had flavorful, spicy meat that lived up to its name. Unfortunately, the batter wasn't my favorite--it was a bit too thin and lacked the texture I was hoping for. Overall, Mummy Eats is a decent option if you're hungry and in the area, but it's not without its drawbacks. Come for the convenience and quick service (once you make it through the line), but manage your expectations for the price and batter quality.

Price is pretty expensive for a Corndog and fries ($12-13), but a decent price for food at a theme park. If you have an annual pass, you can get a discount. - My partner enjoyed her Vegetarian Corndog ($12). - I didn't like my Korean Corndog ($13). It was too salty and the batter was okay. I don't think I got a good batch. - You have to look for a place to sit/stand and eat. When you order a Corndog you get a side of fries with them, which is somewhat of a plus. I didn't finish my fries, but my partner did! We also got a large soda and it was flat. Fortunately, they fixed that problem and gave us a new soda that wasn't flat. I probably should've asked for another Korean Corndog... Workers were nice and did their job. Paid around $28 for two corn dogs and one soda with an annual pass discount.

The food was alright. The staff didn't know how to explain the difference between Korean corn dog and Cordyceps corn dog. They're both hot dog and mozzarella cheese skewers, except the Cordyceps is the new version with truffle mayo on top. I didn't get to try the new version because I thought it was different. Now that I know, it is such a disappointment. They should train the staff better, they keep pointing at the Cordyceps saying this is the Korean corn dog. But, clearly on the menu it is two different thing.

Loved the name of this location and that they offered a hand-dipped veggie corn dog option. It was actually pretty tasty too! This is currently a mobile only location, but then you stand in line waiting which seems counter intuitive. This is a grab and go location, so finding seating in neighboring areas can be difficult. I would prefer a sit down location, but it's a great snack option though a little pricy compared to a meal you could get for a similar price point at other locations.

When it comes to food at Universal, I tend to find it underwhelming in comparison to the foodie scene at Disneyland, however, this place is definitely worth the stop when coming to Universal. They have corn dogs and not just any corn dogs, but Korean style hot dogs! The wait here is minimal (at least when I came) and you can't beat it for the price considering you're at a theme park. This food stall is located right near the entrance of the mummy ride and across the way from the newly opened Super Nintendo World! Make a stop here next time you're at Universal!

My bf and I didn't have the best lunch and needed a snack or something to make up for it. He was craving a corn dog and I really just wanted a churro so this was the perfect spot since it had both! We almost pass up on this spot because of the incredibly long line they have every time. But this time we finally gave it a go. We hopped in line and we were way out of the line, that's how busy it was. The crazy part was how long it took and I don't even understand why. They don't have complicated food and should be poppin out churros and corn dogs easily. Welp? Here we are, waiting in line, for an hour. It was like waiting in line for a ride. Wild right? Why did we keep waiting? Who knows. We kept pushing on in hopes of the best corn dog and churro we've ever had. We finally get to order an hour later and get the slimmest churro. I was a little bummed about it and maybe I'm too used to Disneyland churros being perfect. We got our churro, corn dog, fries and drinks and walked over to panda to sit. Surprisingly everything tasted great! I'm not sure why it took forever and why it tasted so good, maybe we were hungry by the time we got to order, who knows. But it was great and we both enjoyed it. The spicy corn dog definitely packs a punch so it wasn't quite for me but he enjoyed it. We both loved the fries and the churro was just ok. Again, the churro was super slim so it didn't have that fluffy texture inside and almost felt like it was over cooked. Harder than normal, but still good. The fries were probably the best thing. Super crunchy, greasy, and delicious. We would definitely come here more often if the line wasn't so awful. IG: @ammysalamii

Looking for food or a snack in the lower level at Universal; this is a great stop. Corn dog heaven. Original, Korean , spicy and vegetarian. There's something for everyone. Line can get long. We ordered the Korean and the spicy corn dog. All corn dogs come with fries also. The Korean corn dog had also mozzarella cheese inside and breadcrumbs on the outside. I love cheese, so I loved this. The breadcrumbs added a nice texture to this corn dog. The spicy corn dog was spicy and flavorful. It was delicious as well. If your a person who loves a little bit of a kick; please try this. The churro was warm and delicious. Line can be long and can be confusing where the end of the line is . Busy spot !

ordered through mobile ordering and we still had to wait around 10 min even after setting our order to be made. there's no seating for this place but there's some tables so you can stand while eating or sit near the steps of the jurassic ride ~Food~ we got the classic corn dog and spicy corn dog. the batter is crispy and not too thin. the sausages themselves were nothing special the fries are ok, a bit too soggy for our liking but they're not horrible ~Cost: ~$12 for one corn dog and comes with fries

They are charging 2 dollars more for this "Korean" style corn dog. By "korean" they mean, they've added a layer of mozzarella cheese over the sausage. But do we see any cheese in the pic? I was confused as well. "Where did the cheese go? I paid $13 for this?" They had a thumb size cheese cube at the very tip and that's all. Don't you dare call this a Korean corn dog.

Stopped by after riding the mummy for some snacks :) we ordered a Korean hot dog which comes with fries. The line wasn't too long and the food came out quickly. Overall quite crispy and yummy. The fries were also pretty good like curly fry texture.

I always pass by this place on my way to the escalators leading to the upper lot of Universal Studios. For some reason this time around I finally decided to stop by and try it. I ordered the Korean Corn Dog, which came with a side of French fries. The corn dog had a very crispy outer layer and mozzarella cheese and sausage on the inside. My only complaint is the fact that the only cheese I tasted was on the first bite. No joke. I was expecting at least a little more cheese but otherwise, it was a tasty snack. A plus is that the French fries are not the standard type that are typically served. They are seasoned and taste like curly fries. Delicious! The service is rather fast and the line moves smoothly despite the long lines in the afternoon. If you are a Gold tier Annual Pass holder, you can use your pass for a discount. It's not much, but still helpful! As for the ambiance, it's situated in a crowded and busy area so there will be a lot of traffic. The entrances to the lockers, the Revenge of the Mummy, and Jurassic World ride are all in that area. However, there is a clear indication of where the line is because they section off the area with ropes. As for seating, there is a seating area not too far away near Panda Express and some high tables near the Jurrasic World Ride. Give this place a try next time you're in the park and want a quick bite to eat! It's worth it!

I've always liked theme park corn dogs, especially the ones at the Little Red Wagon in Disneyland. So I had to try these corn dogs at Mummy Eats. Wow! These corn dogs are amazing! The flavor of the batter is delicious and nostalgic, and the hot dog itself is super flavorful and juicy. On top of that (or rather below it), they give fries which were crunchy and tasty both times I went! For $11.99, this is a pretty good deal for corn dog and fries compared to Disneyland's $12.50 for corn dog and chips. Disneyland might beat it on average size, but Universal's is still very delicious and a great size. Plus I prefer fries over chips. They also have a spicy corn dog and a Korean corn dog! We got those as well and were pretty impressed. The spicy one has a great kick, and the Korean one is an interesting sweet and savory mix with hotdog and mozzarella inside. This is definitely one of my favorite fast service options in the park, one they I keep going back to!
