Larry's is a great local Burbank stop. The breakfast burritos are great. I usually get my food to go but they have a great little indoor area to sit and eat as well as outside tables. It's right next to another great local stop The Ugly mug coffee shop. Give them a try if you're in the area.

Came here on a whim for a quick breakfast. I knew we were getting the steak breakfast burrito, but had to also try the chili tamale. It was great!! Food was quick and fresh and HOT! Seating outside was totally fine. Perfect quick service diner vibes. I'd definitely come back here for other options. We swung by Ugly Mug for coffee first, which was great with our breakfast. Definitely give this place a try. Great old school style walk up order spot.

Ordered the pastrami burger. Plenty of pastrami packed in. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Would definitely order this again.

It's hard to find a good breakfast burrito. If i can wrap my fingers all the way around the burrito, i don't want it. Especially if it costs $20. I ordered a breakfast burrito with chili and a side of cheese tots. It came out quickly and was about $20. This was large and tasty. Chili tasted well seasoned and the side of salsa gives a nice kick. The tots were crispy and the hash browns in the bb were also nice. Small outdoor seating area for the beautiful California days. Stop supporting small expensive breakfast burritos from trendy spots and go to Larry's.

This place was smackin! We came here because the coffee shop next door we originally pulled over for wasn't open yet. I had the chili cheese tots and my friend had the sausage breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. Awesome hole in the wall with great food at great prices! I look forward to coming back to try more food!

Ugh, I wanted this place to be good. It's on so many lists of best breakfast burritos in Burbank! But majorly disappointed. The cheese inside the burrito was completely cold, not melted at all, hash browns were very very bland, and proportions were just off. I will come back to try a chili dog however because I can't fully say I've tried this place without its signature item. Not giving up on it yet lol!

What I Ordered: -Chili Cheese Dog (With Fries and Drink) $9.75 -Chili Cheese Fries (Small) $6.30 -Dr Pepper No frills joint, cool sign, and great food! I'm on a mission to try all the famous chili dogs in LA. Larry's Chili Dog was one of the spots that I hadn't tried yet. I came here on a weekday morning, so it wasn't busy at all. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating area kind of looked like a diner, with checkered tiled flooring and big red booths. I got the chili cheese dog and upgraded the fries to chili cheese fries. It came with a Dr. Pepper as well. I don't recall exactly what I paid, but it was under $20. The Chili Cheese Dog was good. There was a nice snap to it. The chili was pretty good as well. The fries were great. They were seasoned well and crispy. The chili cheese took the fries to the next level. I love squeezing the juices of the peppers onto the chili cheese fries to add a kick. I dip them in ketchup to help with that kick as well. I loved taking pictures of their cool sign. I would definitely come back here! I will have to take my family here to give it a try and see how they like it.

I like this place. The chili cheese dog was quite tasty, with appropriately thin chili and plenty of melty cheese. The fries were good as well, and the hot peppers I asked for added plenty of zing which I crave with food like this. Out the door - $13 or so for the combo with fries and a soda, which is not exactly cheap, but I see this sort of thing as an occasional splurge anyway. Nice retro Route 66-ish interior design, and overall a happy way to spend an early weekend afternoon.

Bacon and sausage breakfast burrito with the salsa!

Great place to come for breakfast burritos. The burritos are always good and the best thing is it isn't loaded with potatoes. Just about every bite you taste everything in the burrito and it doesn't leak all over you from grease. It can be a little busy so it might take a while to get your order but for me it's worth the wait. It's a walk up window to order and they have some seating outside. If it's a nice day it's ok but it's on a major street as well so it does get a little noisy. Oh and the salsa they have is really good and can have some kick to it.

Finally went to this mostly outdoor eating spot. I had the chili dog. It was a good chili dog. It came out quickly. The restroom was clean. It looked like there was an indoor seating area as well.

Love me that old school diner vibe. Larry's is the place to be for breakfast or lunch. Get yourself a dog or a burger or a breakfast sandwich and watch the world go by. Kick back on the patio or inside and enjoy going back in time, to a time where there were lots of little old-fashioned diners like this. They are a dying breed now, so treasure Larry's.

Delicious. Great service. Old school inside and out. Had to try the.classic chili dog, which was tasty. Not too greasy. Not spicey either. The flavor brings back nostalgic memories for me. Im going to try the pastrami next time as I heard it is great!

Larry's is a Burbank local staple. They're open during normal lunch hour times. Service is always friendly. I have been coming here when I worked at Warner Brothers and most recently tried it again. There is sitting inside and out. Clean and spacious inside. It has that throwback diner vibes and decor. I ordered a Breakfast Burrito with extra cheese and a Chili Cheese Hot Dog. GF ordered Chili Cheese Fries and a Corn Dog. Breakfast Burrito - $9.95 solid. Not huge but not small. Comes with bacon and sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, cheese and a jalapeno salsa. It's a good mix of everything. Bacon is crumbled in and the sausage is cut. Hash browns all throughout makign each bite with a little bit of something. Solid burrito. The salsa is ok. Inside its good but poured on it's a bit one dimensional. Chili cheese dog - Solid choice. Very on point with other chili dogs. The chili itself is very light in flavor but has that consistency. It's also not laden with grease like most spots. The recipe is decades old but I feel it could use a little more spice or other flavor profile. But its on point and goes well. Corn Dog - Fried perfectly. The dog inside is large but feels like a chicken and pork dog. Its tasty and good. Chili Cheese Fries - The fries are well seasoned. Topped with copious chili and cheese. The flavor is in the fries with the season salt as the chili and cheese add to them. Very good.

Awesome chilli cheese fries. And John surprised me with the burger not to sure what exactly was in it but it was amazing!!

I've grown tired of standing in long lines only to see impatient people cut the line to get their mobile orders. Today I waited quite some time to get my mobile order, past my pickup time, and someone walked right up in front of everyone to get his order. Myself and the man in front of me had been waiting to pick up our orders. I do have to say that the young lady that works cashier is absolutely delightful. She greets with a smile and cares about customers. Just a tip: if you do mobile order and you order more than one of the same item, make sure you check your order before you leave. They've left out an order of fries a couple of times because I ordered two of them. However, the next time I went and noticed that they, again, left out an order of fries, the gal threw in an extra order as a sorry, which she did not have to do. My go to order is a California cheeseburger protein style, but this last time they left off the 1,000 island and the burger didn't taste all that great. If you plan on coming for lunch, make sure you either mobile order for pickup or get there with enough time to wait in line to order and for them to make your food. The lines do get long. There is a limited amount of street parking in front and there's a small lot in the rear and there is patio seating if you want to eat there. The food here is great though.

Tommy's chili hasn't changed--ever--and I love the stuff. I get the burgers without tomatoes because they are tasteless but otherwise, these cheap delectable burgers are loaded with chopped onions, pickles, a ton of chili, and a ton of flavor. The fries are good and better than In-n-Out fries but that is a low threshold.

I've never been the hugest fan of traditional pasta sauces, especially meat sauces, preferring to go with a lighter marinara and then having either a giant meatball or Italian sausage on the side. But chili? Chili, specifically beanless chili, was something I could get behind on spaghetti. Having that first platter of a Skyline 4-Way really solidified I'd found my preferred topping for pasta. Chili John's as probably the biggest purveyor of chili in the L.A. area had long been on my list of places I'd wanted to try in the area. I'd heard nothing but raves about their chili and the array of dishes built around it. The spaghetti did not disappoint as I found their chili beefy, savory, and super flavorful, especially with the addition of the onions and cheese that is a must for the dish. Plus, thanks to the recommendation of the server, the chili was also noticeably spicy and this added a well-appreciated punch of fire to the whole entree. The service was amazing. It was personable and helpful, as the dude was full of recommendations and commentary about a menu and business he obviously had a deep affection for. I wish all restaurants had service this deeply dedicated to providing a superb experience to all its customers. The ambiance was distinct, it is on the small side of dining areas, with all the seating being a horseshoe pattern around the central service area. It also wasn't the most modern interior or exterior, but I feel that's part of its charm. It feels like a place with a deep history of being an area establishment for decades. It breathes character and charm. I can't think of a better place to eat a bowl of traditional chili whose recipe hasn't been fudged with in decades. Overall, I can't recommend this place more highly. This is my kind of place and somewhere I hope to frequent going forward.

My grandmother, who needs assistance walking, was going next door to get her haircut like she regularly does. Since they couldn't find parking nearby, my grandfather temporarily parked in the handicap spot behind chili Johns so he could help her safely into the salon before moving the car. Instead of simply just asking him to move it, the manager followed them into the salon and waited there, watching them until my grandfather came back outside to move the car. We completely understand enforcing parking rules, but the way the situation was handled felt excessive and unnecessarily uncomfortable for two elderly people who were just trying to safely get to an appointment.

We ordered beef burgers, a fried chicken sandwich with avocado, loaded fries, regular fries, drinks, and a shake. The beef burgers had great flavor and were definitely the highlight of the meal. My chicken sandwich was good, but it didn't have that "wow" factor that would make me want to order it again. The loaded fries were tasty too. Our total came to $81 for three burgers, three orders of fries, two drinks, and a shake. Since everything is à la carte, it felt a little pricey for what we received. Overall, I'm glad we tried it.
