As always, I forgot to take a photo in my rush to eat! We live a couple blocks away from Larry's and it is definitely our go to place. The people are super nice, always very polite and working at super speed. Saturday mornings for us are breakfast burritos and I really think there's is the best in Burbank. I like my fillings to be identifiable and not all chopped up. We get the sauce on the side, it's this wonderful jalapeño spice that is so tasty with just the right amount of warmth. We often go up for lunch, with our usual orders, being a #1 special with hamburger, fries, and a drink. And then I get a cheeseburger. The burgers are really good, and I especially love the fries! Recently, I wanted to try something different and tried a gyros sandwich and I think that might be my new favorite. Very fresh, the pita was soft but lightly toasted, the meat is tasty and there is a wonderful tzatziki sauce on it as well. Finally, their chili dogs are delicious! I get mine with chili, cheese, onions, and some mustard. I especially love that you can pick it up and eat it, so it's not all gross where you have to eat it with a fork. Highly recommend! read more

Larry's Chili Dog has the best breakfast burrito in Burbank and I will die on this hill! I'm usually here first thing in the morning when I go, so it's never been crowded, but I think it gets busier as the morning goes on (and probably on the weekends as well). There's usually enough street parking as well as a few spots behind the store. Their breakfast burrito has eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, cheese, and their amazing green salsa (I always ask for an extra side of it). I love that all of the flavors balance each other out--there's not a single ingredient that overpowers another, or any that there's too much or too little of. There are a couple of tables outside, and sometimes they'll also open up their indoor seats. Service can be busy when they're busy but I've never waited more than 10 minutes to get my food. read more

Decided to finally drop by this spot after craving a breakfast burrito! There's residential parking but it's pretty full on weekends since everyone is at home. There's street parking as well. They have a few tables outside and a separate connecting building for indoor seating and you order through the window. Staff are super friendly and the time to get your food is very accurate (waited about 15 min). My bf got the Chicago style hot dog and I got the regular breakfast burrito (no bacon) and it was absolute heaven. Perfect and love that everything was more "flattened" inside if that makes sense. They only have spicy salsa so we ended up mixing it with lime and mayo at home for a more "creamy" sauce. Definitely has a kick but it was yummy! Love the options this spot has. It's hard to find a good breakfast burrito. If i can wrap my fingers all the way around the burrito, i don't want it. Especially if it costs $20. This place has both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating area kind of looked like a diner, with checkered tiled flooring and big red booths. I got the chili cheese dog and upgraded the fries to chili cheese fries. It came with a Dr. Pepper as well. I don't recall exactly what I paid, but it was under $20. The Chili Cheese Dog was good. There was a nice snap to it. The chili was pretty good as well. The fries were great. They were seasoned well and crispy. The chili cheese took the fries to the next level. I love squeezing the juices of the peppers onto the chili cheese fries to add a kick. I dip them in ketchup to help with that kick as well. I loved taking pictures of their cool sign. I like this place. The chili cheese dog was quite tasty, with appropriately thin chili and plenty of melty cheese. The fries were good as well, and the hot peppers I asked for added plenty of zing which I crave with food like this. Out the door - $13 or so for the combo with fries and a soda, which is not exactly cheap, but I see this sort of thing as an occasional splurge anyway. Great place to come for breakfast burritos. The burritos are always good and the best thing is it isn't loaded with potatoes. Just about every bite you taste everything in the burrito and it doesn't leak all over you from grease. It can be a little busy so it might take a while to get your order but for me it's worth the wait. It's a walk up window to order and they have some seating outside. If it's a nice day it's ok but it's on a major street as well so it does get a little noisy. Oh and the salsa they have is really good and can have some kick to it. read more

Food is great but service sucks! I called in advance to pre order my 3 burritos. I was told that the food will be ready in 15 minutes. I got there after 10 minutes. I waited in line for another 10 minutes. Then when I finally got to the counter to pay for my advanced order, they had me wait for another 15 minutes since they only put my order in when I paid. I waited for a total of 45 minutes for an advanced order. When I finally got my order, I asked for salsa. The snooty white girl told me that "there's already ONE in there." - but I ordered 3 burritos. Mmmm it doesn't make sense. When she gave me 2 small cups of salsa, she rudely threw them in my brown bag and turned around. This is the first time and probably the last time I will get food from Larry's. Inside its good but poured on it's a bit one dimensional. Chili cheese dog - Solid choice. Very on point with other chili dogs. The chili itself is very light in flavor but has that consistency. It's also not laden with grease like most spots. The recipe is decades old but I feel it could use a little more spice or other flavor profile. But its on point and goes well. Corn Dog - Fried perfectly. The dog inside is large but feels like a chicken and pork dog. Its tasty and good. Chili Cheese Fries - The fries are well seasoned. Topped with copious chili and cheese. This place has been around for a long time and I finally decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a lot of available street parking. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The shop itself has a cool old school vibe. The inside has a nice design and comfortable seating. Now on to the food. The prices are really good and they have a lot of options. We got 2 bacon wrapped dogs, the street dog, the chili cheese dog, a fountain drink and a red Gatorade. Overall price was $33. Everything tasted good but I was a little disappointed in the chili cheese dog. The chillin didn't have much flavor and was bland. The street dog was delicious though and definitely made up for the chili let down. I still enjoyed my experience and will be back to try more options read more

I remember coming here during my high school years, and it has always been a solid choice. The menu has many options and of course... The namesake, The "Chili Dog." My most recent visit was in the early morning while my car was getting some work done across the street. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and sausage. It was absolutely delicious. It is served with two hot sauces, one red and one green. I also ordered an Orange Juice, which was delicious. The lady at the order window is very nice and welcoming. The customers are usually pleasant and happy to be there. It's always fun to see some out of towners stopping in for a bite and expressing their excitement for "finally getting to eat at Larry's" and taking a pic of the legendary sign. Great lunch spot! I had a chili cheese dog with onion rings and it was really good. The hot dog was on the smaller side, but I love the fixings on it and the irony is that the hot dog was very filling. Next time I need to get a side of chili and just put that on everything.
