I don't come across Cordon Bleu very often, so I was excited to try it, and it absolutely delivered. The Brussels sprouts were a great pairing, and while the spätzle was pretty simple with a light buttery flavor, it complemented the richness of the schnitzel well without overpowering it. The service was great throughout the night. Our food took a little longer than expected to come out, but it was a busy Friday night and our server kept us updated the entire time, which I really appreciated. My friend was also celebrating his birthday month and was given a free Beer Boot, which was a really fun touch. The atmosphere was lively and perfect for hanging out with friends. We were there while the NBA Finals were on, which made the restaurant feel even more energetic. One thing I also appreciated was how easy parking was, there was plenty of street parking both in front of the restaurant and across the street. Haiti) and noticed it was not extremely packed as it was the night prior (Mexico had won). Walked in and formed line to place my beer order. I went with "Big Screen Energy" IPA 8.2% imperial/double. I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ended up getting two more rounds later. Plenty of beer selection on tap and even wine. They offer indoor/outdoor seating as well as some space upstairs. Indoors they have a big screen, and the outdoor patio has a TV. Lastly, the upstairs area has a smaller TV. They also have rotating food trucks for anyone that develops hunger or cravings. Service is what makes this place stand out even more. The owners genuinely care about the community. They're constantly popping in, saying hi, checking on guests, and making sure the food is coming out at its best. You can tell they're invested in the experience, not just the business. This particular outlet is located on the 7th floor of the Beverly Center near Bloomie's and the escalator. Grateful to see that it was National Pretzel Day, so I scored a free twisted treat. Surprisingly, there was only one person in front of me when I arrived around 4PM. I guess no one wants to pay $6 to park at the Beverly Center. Since the young girl there was working like an Energizer Bunny, I saw my pretzel come straight out of the oven. Deal with the Devil is my favorite IPA here. Ordering is easy, just go to the bar, place your order (check the paper menus by the register first), open a tab and they'll give you a number to put on your table. Wait for your food to arrive and enjoy! Don't forget the beers! For food, our go to is always their pizza (check out the cheese pull in my photos) and fougasse. Our kids love the pizza and plain curly fries. Chicken wings and their Caesar salad is good too! We miss the panna cotta they used to have. They were delicious! The cookies are a good substitute for that sweet craving after a meal. Parking can be difficult and stressful at times to find a spot. You'll have to drive around to find one. They have parking in front of the brewery, but it's VERY limited. We Uber with friends and family sometimes to avoid the stress of finding parking.
