    Crookshanks approves this turkey leg
    Cathrin P C.

Wow, totally didn't check Yelp before stumbling into this place, desperate for some turkey legs. It's more of a casual grab to go already made food but hey, why not... they were bagging fresh turkey legs and rotisserie chicken and hey, why not... better than the other overpriced carb crap you would get all over Universal Studios. Crookshanks approves. Kiddo also approves of the mash potatoes side and we parents approve of the $2.99 price when you purchase the turkey leg for about $12.99 -- and hey, why not?

Was looking forward to a healthier option but they were closed.

the sushi was made of cardboard, the clam chowder was too salty, and the sandwich was stale and dry. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

The sauteed onions and peppers amplify the savory dish, the poached eggs are not runny, and the whole plate is enlivened by the mildly spicy "Santa Fe" Hollandaise sauce. There was a small side of fresh fruit. We both had to take some of the benny home, as there was too much to finish and it was just too good to leave behind! You order at the counter and grab a seat in one of the many seating areas (indoor and out). We opted for al fresco dining right on Tujunga Avenue, because sitting under the trees and watching the world go by is one of the most pleasant aspects of Aroma! But there is also greenery of every type in the back and side areas, too. Don't worry too much about the line. After you order and grab a table, the servers bring out your coffee/tea orders promptly, and the food comes quickly thereafter. Servers are busy but friendly and accommodating. There are a lot of enticing choices on the breakfast/brunch menu, so we look forward to returning to Aroma.

A literal 10/10, it was somewhat sweet, it had complex flavor it was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely come here again for the coffee and I really like the unique coffee flavors here. Now the inside is nothing special to be honest and its overall not a place I would say is good for working or studying, more for hanging out. There isn't too much seating so just be wary of that and parking was a bit annoying where I had to street park with meters, although there are plenty of spots. The service was fast and attentive and would definitely come again. I drove all the way here just to try it and left satisfied.

I am a super adventurous eater and always give different flavors a chance but I cannot believe people enjoy this particular one. The spinach cheese pastry is SO good so clearly you understand how to make them well lol.

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.
